The house is beautiful, comfortable, and very well located, but the experience was overshadowed by the poor communication with Carlos Vargas and Vacasa. The host chat is handled only by a bot that resolves nothing, my emails went unanswered, and calling the number provided redirected me to another number in the US. I wanted to add one more night, but when I finally reached Vacasa, they could not send a simple reservation change and told me to call Airbnb, even though hosts normally send the change for guests to accept with one click. I arrived on time for the 4:00 p.m. check-in but still had to wait because Carlos had not sent the QR code required by security. The 4:00 p.m. check-in and 10:00 a.m. check-out are inflexible: you pay for a full night but have the house for less than 20 hours, while in Costa Rica check-in is usually at 2:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m. The internet speed could improve. The property is good, but guest support was practically nonexistent.

Our friends we were travelling with to Jaco found this place and in all honesty I was worried from the get go it would be too small. But we were 4 adults and 4 kids in the house and it turned out to be a great space for two families. Having the plunge pool with the big neighborhood pool right behind it made it a really nice home to hang out at. Kitchen and living room are more than big enough. Location is great as well. We will definitely book again.

Als Abschluss unserer Rundreise wollte wir noch mal eine Unterkunft mit Selbstversorgung. Dafür war es genau richtig und das Haus ist unglaublich groß. Es handelt sich um ein bewachtes Quartier, was man mögen muss - für uns war zu diesem Zeitpunkt perfekt und sehr ruhig! Einige Einrichtungsgegenstände könnten ein Update vertragen, aber es war alles da! Den großen Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, weil der private kleine Pool für uns vollkommen ausreichend war. Jaco hat uns nicht wirklich gefallen, aber damit hat die Unterkunft ja nichts zu tun. Wir waren nur zu zweit im haus, man kann aber ganz locker mit 6-8 Personen komfortabel wohnen.

El lugar muy bonito y espacioso, cuenta con muchas amenidades. Sin embargo, existen varios puntos de mejora por ejemplo Antes de reservar nos comunicamos para preguntar por un tercer parqueo el cual nos dijeron que si existía, pero después de reservar nos dijeron que solo existían dos parqueos y no nos ayudaron a solucionar. El camino a la piscina pública es muy peligroso ya que es muy resbaladizo y difícil de acceder.

Prior to booking, I specifically asked the host whether it would be acceptable to have a few friends visit during my stay. I was clearly told that this would not be a problem. However, after arriving, I was abruptly informed that visitors were not allowed under any circumstances. This contradictory and misleading behavior directly impacted the entire purpose of my trip and turned what was supposed to be a relaxing and joyful vacation into an incredibly stressful and disappointing ordeal. This wasn't just an inconvenience — it was a complete misrepresentation that led to unnecessary stress, disrupted plans, and wasted time and money. Had I been given accurate information from the start, I would have never chosen this property.
