I must say that the view here was spectacular, absolutely amazing! Having said that, we stayed 2 nights, and shortly after we arrived, the winds went from strong to insane, for the rest of our stay. We couldn’t go outside or even use the balcony, the entire home shook from the persistent winds. This is in no way the fault of the host, but it absolutely negatively affected our stay. The bathrooms (shower areas) were not properly cleaned, and the floors left something to be desired in terms of cleanliness.

view from the house was spectacular. house is a little farther from town and out of the way. there was a lot of noise from the wind as well as some alarm that went off regularly including in the middle of the night. amenities were a little short of what I have seen in other properties. instructions including things to do was very helpful in knowing where to go

Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! L’endroit est absolument magnifique, avec une vue tout simplement hallucinante — encore plus impressionnante en vrai que sur les photos. En plus de cela, l’hôte a été extrêmement serviable. Nous avons eu un problème avec notre voiture et il a vraiment été au-delà de toute attente pour nous aider, ce que nous avons énormément apprécié. Il répondait aussi très rapidement à tous nos messages, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésitation !

The home looked just like the photos, with a beautiful view. It's roomy and modern and pretty close to town but also far enough away you don't hear traffic or anything. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

The views from Freicer's home are unmatched in the Monteverde area. The air is crisp, the stars are bright, and the wind is cool. The home looks like the photos and is well-stocked. It's important to note that this is a shared property --there is another rental unit and others living on the estate, so it's not entirely private. We had a little issue with the noise from the other rental, but Freicer took care of this right away. The town is only a short drive away with many shops, restaurants, pharmacies, and a 24/7 urgent care. One of the best things we did was watch the sunset at Cerro Pinocho, which is very close to the property. It has the most gorgeous views of the Tilaran Mountain Range.

This place is ALL about the view!!! Yes, the house is very nice, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and Friecer is a friendly, responsive and knowledgeable host, but you rent this place for the breathtaking view. Bring ear plugs because the wind can be noisy and keep you up at night. For me it was a tax for the magical spot. Little mishap with the cleanliness of one of the bathrooms, but Friecer was very responsive and got everything taken care of in a heartbeat. He also gave me good local recommendations.

This place has the most stunning views from the living room and balcony! It's simply breathtaking. However, great views come with some discomfort. Be prepared to constant noise from high winds, to the point that we had to sleep with noise-cancelling earbuds! House is well equipped and a great spacious layout. Freicer and team was helpful and responsive when we arrived but was bit inconsiderate when we had a situation with the check out time.
