This was our first trip out of the states with our 1 and a half year old. We wanted to find a town and place that we felt right at home, and a great house for our little one. The town has a check in so it’s very private. We had friends and their kids come and stay with us too. Our daughter was obsessed with the pool (which we swam in a few times a day). There were lots of pool toys/floats! It gets really hot in Mexico so it was a great shaded place to cool down - and beautifully landscaped. Ana met us when we arrived and made sure the house had water, snacks, gaucamole she made, and she even cooked for us one night! That was extra but super sweet. We loved the collected feel of the house and the many layers of areas to enjoy - hammocks on the roof - cool sitting room - the living room- kitchen - pool patio. We also were a two min walk to the lagoon! And ate at Buena Vida a few times we were there. La Lunita is also very special. We would love to come back another time. ❤️

Suzanne’s place was perfect for our family. Our kids loved dipping in the pool every day and the adults appreciated access to the lagoon. Ana, the property manager was always prompt in responding to anything we needed, including during an electrical blackout that we had for one of the days. We also had her cook for us an evening and I definitely recommend it! Her cooking was phenomenal!!

Our multi-generational extended family of nine had a magical stay at Villa Milagro in Akumal. The accommodations were instantly inviting and comfortable. We spent every evening on the rooftop in the golden light taking in the views. Ana and her daughter Yasmin cooked for us on our last day. The food was spectacular and I highly recommend it! With a pool at the house, Yal-Ku in our back yard, and the beach just a short bike ride away we had plenty of options for everyone. Thanks for an amazing vacation!

Villa Milagro is beautiful and welcoming. It reminded me of the tent in the Harry Potter movie that looks normal from the outside but keeps unfolding into room after room. Perfectly lovely! The beds are comfortable; the living spaces are comfortable. Well-stocked is an understatement: books, bikes, beach equipment, kitchen staples. Suzanne is a Super Host for a reason! And Ana arranges the best local hook ups! Book this villa if you can. You will not be disappointed.

Suzanne's home is a great place to stay in Akumal. The home is like a private compound, a fun oasis in the tropics. There are so many rooms and floors to explore and hang out on and you can always cool off in the fantastic pool. Great for groups of friends and families. The staff is wonderful. Ana made us a homecooked meal on our first night which was worth not having to rush around to find a restaurant. Only downside the home is about a mile drive from the Akumal beach. Very private but a tad isolated from nightlife and restaurants.

I can’t say enough good things about Suzanne’s place. Everything was great! We were a family of 12 and there was plenty of space. My toddler loved the pool. There is not a single negative thing I can say about the host or the place. Ana who is in charge of taking care of the Villa was an amazing help. She was always available throughout my stay and kept offering to be there within minutes if we needed anything. Housekeeping (Valentina, I think) was amazing too, she came and made sure everything was nice and clean when we came back to the villa. From check-in to check-out everything went smooth & perfect. Thank you Suzanne, Ana, and Valentina for everything, my family & I had an amazing time and would love to come back and visit Casa Milagro.

We had a great stay. This was a wonderful house for our two families (9 total guests). Ana was a great property manager and so helpful. She made us a wonderful meal and checked in on us on a regular basis. Ana is a hard worker and made sure we had everything we needed. Well loved bikes were provided, which is a great idea. A few had flat tires and other issues and when we let Ana know and they were fixed the next day. Also the day after inquiring about renting a few more bikes so everyone in our party could use one -three new bikes showed up sent by Suzanne (host). I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to spend time in Akumal and enjoy all the area has to offer.

We had an incredible stay at Suzanne’s place! It’s extremely well stocked and feels incredibly homey with everything you might need. There are 6 bikes, which are certainly well loved, but work well enough for getting to and from town. She has lots of beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, sand castle equipment, sunscreen, etc—it was the perfect set up for a relaxing beach stay. I can’t recommend Suzanne’s place enough. We’ll definitely be back! And don’t miss out on Ana’s amazing cooking! The chicken pibil was the best meal we had in Akumal. One a/c unit was a little sensitive in the casita, but we let Suzanne know and she was extremely responsive to the issue.
