The Space
Welcome to Casa #4 in Entroterra, a tranquil home nestled within the gated community of Hacienda Pinilla. This residence comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
The home features a spacious dining area and a cozy living room that opens onto a terrace, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. Outside, you will find a private saltwater pool accompanied by two loungers for sunbathing. The covered deck is perfect for grilling and entertaining in privacy, making it an ideal spot to start or end your day.
The property is thoughtfully designed to offer a relaxing atmosphere for family vacations. You might even spot a beautiful macaw or hear howling monkeys nearby, adding to the natural charm of the setting.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property, and any violations will result in penalties. This is not a party house, and guests are expected to respect the quiet environment.

Guest Access
Hacienda Pinilla Beach Resort offers extensive natural surroundings, including three beautiful beaches and world-class surfing spots. The resort features an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and mountain bike trails.
Guests at Entroterra #4 enjoy free access to the Beach Club (closed in October), which includes an infinity pool, tiki bar, restaurant, spa, fitness center, and a lifeguarded beach at Playa Avellanas. Nearby, the JW Marriott Hotel provides dining options and day passes for pool and amenity access.
Golf Course
Designed by Mike Young, the par-72 golf course stretches up to 7,200 yards and blends seamlessly with the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla. The course winds through tropical forests and along the Pacific coastline, offering stunning ocean views.

Tennis and Pickleball
Hacienda Pinilla has three hard tennis courts with onsite instructors offering clinics, lessons, and court rentals.

- Monday, 8:30–9:30 AM: Fit-Tennis (All Levels) – $15
- Tuesday, 5:00–6:30 PM: Advanced Clinic – $20
- Thursday, 4:00–5:30 PM: Intermediate Clinic – $20
- Saturday, 8:30–10:30 AM: Pickleball Clinic – $10
Lessons:
- $60 per hour (1 person)
- $70 per hour (2 people)
- $200 for 4 lessons (package)
- $450 for 10 lessons (package)
Court Rentals:
- $10–$15 per hour
- $25 per hour with lights
- $5 per racquet or paddle rental

Horse Stables
Explore 16 kilometers of scenic trails through dry forests leading to the pristine Playa Langosta. Guided horseback tours can be tailored from 30 minutes up to 2 hours, taking riders through lush forests, secluded beaches, and peaceful river mouths within Hacienda Pinilla.
Mountain Bike Trails
The ranch offers 30 kilometers of professional trails and 15 kilometers of beginner trails, ideal for biking, hiking, or exploring the expansive 4,500-acre property.
Surfing
Hacienda Pinilla is an excellent base for surfing in Costa Rica. It provides access to six breaks at Playa Avellanas and private entry to Playa Langosta’s beach breaks. For more variety, Playa Negra’s reef breaks are just 10 minutes south, while Tamarindo’s river mouth and beach breaks lie 10 minutes to the north.
Location and Additional Information
This private home is located within the exclusive, gated community of Entroterra inside Hacienda Pinilla. A rental car is highly recommended since local amenities and restaurants are not within walking distance.
Due to the size of Hacienda Pinilla, it is advisable to purchase groceries before arrival, especially after a long trip when you may prefer to stay in.
If you plan to have guests during your stay, please inform the host in advance so they can be added to the entry list at the main gate.

Important Policies
Entroterra is a private, gated community with full-time residents and families. A strict quiet policy is enforced from 11 PM to 6 AM. This home is best suited for respectful groups and families.
Parties, events, or excessive noise are not permitted. Guests who violate these rules will be asked to leave without a refund.

WOW! This Airbnb was absolutely stunning! Mary was so helpful and responded quickly to messages. We were in Costa Rica for a wedding and Mary was able to help coordinate the transportation through the gate and everything for us so it was a seamless transition. This was my first time in Costa Rica and it won’t be the last time staying at Carols Airbnb!!

We had a terrific time, the host was always polite and responsive. The house matched perfectly with the pictures, everything was clean and in great conditions. The free access to the beach club was great to go have a great day at the beach and pool with the kids and friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s place. The house in Hacienda Pinilla is beautiful, spotless, and equipped with everything you might need. The location is perfect - just a quick 5-minute drive to the beach. Mary was an excellent host and made everything easy for us. We would definitely love to come back!

La casa es una belleza , perfecta para hasta 8 personas. Nosotros éramos 5 y estuvimos súper cómodos. Tiene una piscina linda y la zona de parrilla es perfecta. La decoración es moderna y linda. La ubicación es muy buena ya que tienes playas lindas como Playa Mansita y Avellanas muy cerca y aprox a una hora hasta la mayoría de playas del norte como Flamingo, Conchal, Penca, Playa Grande. La casa está perfectamente equipada para cocinar y pasarlo increíble. El anfitrión ha pensado en todos los detalles, desde un botiquín hasta detergente de ropa y sillas para la playa. En verdad no pudimos haber escogido mejor y seguro volveremos!

Our stay at Mary’s place was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and very well located. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. Carol was an amazing host, very attentive and welcoming. The house was beautiful, perfect for a family getaway, and we especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly. The BBQ area was fabulous, and the pool made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
