Casa Ohana

Dear Cesar, your house is amazing! We saw the pictures - fully alogned with description, we were prepared but when we came, it was really amazing - in reality. Super nice house for our family, super private place, close to the park and the restaurants. A lot of animals and super pool! Everthing super clean. The best was to sit in the evening with the family in the open living-room. We really enjoyed! Big thank you Cesar for your hospitality and immediate responses! It was a pleasure, if we come again to Costa Rica - we definitively choose your house! Big thank you!

The house is spectacular! It has very beautiful gardens and is very well equipped. I highly recommend it. Cesar is an excellent host, and from the moment we booked he was available to answer all our questions in a very friendly way.

I cannot say enough good things about Cesar's home in Cahuita! Casa Ohana had everything we needed and was also surrounded by lush tropical trees. We woke to the sound of birds and sometimes Monkeys. It was very peaceful yet the location allowed us easy access to main street, a grocery store close by, the National Park, and the beaches. The house was lovely and Cesar was wonderful to deal with. Cahuita is such a lovely beach town and was everything we hoped it would be and more. We enjoyed swimming in the ocean, hiking in the National Park, and we did multiple tours such as Kayaking in the Mangroves, snorkelling (we saw Nurse Sharks and Rays!), a Jungle Adventure Tour, and a slot tour (we saw over 10 sloths!). The people of Cahuita are lovely as well. We hope to return again in the future! I highly recommend Cesar's property!

Casa Ohana is a spectacular house set in wonderful surroundings. The house itself is very modern and stylish as well as comfortable and well designed. It centers around the pool and indoor-outdoor living that is well suited to the area. The gardens are very private and have many tropical plants that attract super cool wildlife. In the garden we saw toucans, spider monkeys agouti and many other colorful tropical birds. The only minor negative to be aware of was noise from a nearby club that was quite intrusive on a couple of nights, and lacking glass in many of the windows hard to block out late at night. The area is very walkable with the national park and beaches 15 min walk away or less and a decent supermarket with a 5 min walk. Many restaurants in town.

César was the kindest host, incredibly responsive and helpful. He is a true gem of a human and really wanted to make sure we had a brilliant stay. His place is absolutely beautiful, located down a short path after entering which makes you feel like you have your own piece of the jungle. The pool is perfect and we felt so lucky to have it all to ourselves! The inside/outside feel of the place was wonderful and two rooms open out onto the pool area - but just to note that although one room has aircon and can be fully shut, two rooms don't and they don't have screens on the slats of the doors. We luckily had portable mosquito nets for our children, but obviously not everyone will feel they need these. There's a great supermarket a few minutes walk as well as Cahuita town, national park and restaurants nearby. The proximity to town means on some nights we heard loud bass/music, but this wasn't César's fault and it wasn't every night luckily. We loved our stay and would love to return!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden . Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön . Man wohnt quasi im Jungle aber mit viel Luxus umgeben. Uns hat es an nichts gemangelt. Die Kommunikation war auch sehr gut . Wir kommen gerne wieder ! TOP!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely area, the monkeys hanging out in the tree eating next to the house was cool. Secluded from the neighbors and very safe. Walking distance to the store and a short short drive to many restaurants, park and water. We loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cesar's place, walkable to the Cahuita center and reserve. Kitchen fully equipped and stay by the pool, well maintained garden. Thanks for the chocolate.

Wirklich perfekter Aufenthalt - das war eine wirklich super Erfahrung mein Lieblingshaus auf der Reise . Wir waren schon an so vielen Orten mit wirklich tollen Unterkunften- diese haben wir echt geliebt. Es war schwierig raus zu kommen zum Glück kennen wir die karibische Seite gut so das wir nichts verpasst haben. César war wirklich super flexibel und sehr aufmerksam .. vielen Dank - wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !
