5 BR Rainforest Retreat with Huge Kitchen!

Evan and Silvia were extremely helpful in a difficult situation that we had at a different Airbnb. We started off at a different place but after having no running water, we scrambled to find a different Airbnb and we chose Evan and Silvia’s. They responded to our message promptly and were patient with us as we were navigating things with Airbnb Customer Support. They were able to make sure the place was ready for us within hours notice and they gave clear instructions on the check-in and check-out process (in addition to having a binder with useful info on the premises). The place was comfortable, beautiful, and clean. The casita (guesthouse), which is in the yard separate from the main house, is lovely as well. Each bedroom had an AC which was key. Evan and Silvia were very responsive throughout our entire stay. Definitely would recommend staying here! Keep in mind that the place is a short drive (5-10 minutes) from La Fortuna’s Main Street - so it’s private but close to the main area

This was a lovely rental! The backyard is lush and breathtaking waking up to. We were a group of 6 adults and everyone slept comfortably. They even had board games and binoculars available for use, which I thought was a great touch. One thing worth noting is there is a guest house in the backyard that accounts for one of the bedrooms, living room, and full bathroom. Which you have full access to, but we were initially confused. All was well once we figured it out. The need for an all wheel drive is a must to drive to the house (and around La Fortuna and Costa Rica as a whole). The hosts were responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and rebook!

Amazing modern home tucked away in the heart of Arenal volcano area. Peaceful and clean. Close to all major attractions and activities in Arenal / La Fortuna.

What a memorable stay we had in La Fortuna, surrounded by lush foliage and filled with sights and sounds of the rainforest. We woke up to Spider Monkeys swinging through the trees, Howler monkeys making their morning calls, and visits from various birds and insects. Evan and Silvia were wonderful hosts—very responsive and accommodating. Their home is a special place get the magical Costa Rica experience.

Modern and comfortable rainforest home. Best part was seeing multiple toucans, a sloth, and so many other birds right from the balcony. Hosts were very responsive to any small questions we had. Things to know: there is a short stretch of gravel road before arriving to the property, there is no dishwasher, and certain kitchen tools (pots/pans, drying rack) could be updated

This was a beautiful place to have a family reunion between our US and Tico families. We would love to visit again! For anyone who hasn't visited La Fortuna before: plan to visit sites early! It helps beat the heat and crowds. Plus, you get to enjoy the peaceful setting of the house in the afternoon.

Evan and Silvia’s place is perfect for a large group. The rooms were comfortable with AC and well setup. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful tree house in the woods, very secluded, spacious and well appointed. Centrally located, our group of eight had ample room and a wonderful time

We really loved our stay! The property is beautiful and we saw so many toucans, heard the howler monkeys, and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of bug bites despite spending so much time outside. We did lose power twice and internet for one day, but that was no fault of the hosts, more the fault of heavy rainfall and we expected that may happen here. They were quick to try to look into it when we had the ability to communicate. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds throughout. Would definitely stay again if we come back!

Wonderful home for our large family. Enjoyed being in the wilderness but a very short drive from La Fortuna and all the surrounding sites.
