MAKING FRIENDS IN THE BASKET

Well appointed cottage on the river. We stayed with 2 young children, they really enjoyed the property and swimming. The cottage has many kitchen amenities, easy to cook some meals. Quiet area, peaceful location, nice hosts.

nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par sa femme et sa fille! C'est un endroit magnifique à l'écart de tout! nous pouvons marcher sur toute la grande propriété, se baigner dans la rivière et avions même accès à des tubes! la maison est grande et possède beaucoup d'équipements de cuisine! à l'extérieur, nous avons profité de la grande terrasse couverte pour observer la nature, les papillons tout en écoutant le bruit de la rivière! nous avons adoré notre séjour et recommandons sans hésiter le logement de Ulfran et sa famille!!

I only wish we had more time! We felt instantly at home. The grounds are beautiful. Cottage exactly as described. Safe. If you’re looking to be off the beaten path, this is a special place. We were in the jungle. Monkeys in the trees our first day! No AC, but it cooled down in the evenings enough with fans for this Canadian girl to sleep. If you want to tour this part of the country, this would be a fantastic place. Thanks for sharing!!!

Our family has a wonderful stay at Ulfran’s! Ulfran cut down coconuts for our family and taught us how to open them. The property is beautiful and filled with birds and monkeys. We loved being woken up by howler monkeys every morning! The location was very close to many activities… Sloth’s paradise down the road was the highlight of our trip! We saw frogs, eyelash viper snakes and sloths up close and in their natural habitat (not a zoo or caged area - completely natural).

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the river access was a highlight. There were plenty of options to play in the water, and the soothing sound of the river at night made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to a comfortable shower. The mattress and pillows were exceptionally cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

Finca El Canasto nous fait sentir à la maison. C’est propre, toutes les commodités s’y trouvent, les hôtes sont accueillants. If you enjoy birdwatching, as we do, then Ulfran's house is unmissable. Very comfortable accommodation surrounded by nature. Our stay there was exceptional.
