Casa del Rio is top notch! Extremely lush tropical property. All cabins are private. Property is boarded by La Fortuna River. All staff provide excellent service and are very friendly and bilingual. Most will help you learn some new Spanish sayings. Special Thanks to Wilbert! He took such great care of us each day at the restaurant. I highly recommend this property.

It honestly felt like an oasis inside of the oasis. Think White Lotus, but in Costa Rica! The room was great, the staff was PHENOMENAL, and the food was AMAZING! This is coming from someone that judges culinary very harshly. Jose, Summer, and Diego really made us feel welcomed every time we saw them for breakfast… which was included btw!!! Don’t think about it! Book it! Also worth mentioning that you are a 5 minute drive from downtown La Fortuna. Where there’s hundreds of restaurants, bars, markets, and souvenir shops. Just book the damn thing!

The hotel is well maintained and set out, we were expecting it to be smaller as it says Boutique hotel, it was not a boutique hotel by European standards but a large complex. The pool area was lovely but unfortunately the hot tub was only hot on our first day. It was well located to get into town.

Casa Del Rio was the best place I stayed in Costa Rica! Our Casita was so nice and well-appointed. There is a very private balcony overlooking lush tropical trees and plants. We could see monkeys from our balcony, along with many different bird species. The entire property was a beautiful garden. The restaurant on site was exceptional, and the customer service was above and beyond. Cant wait for my next stay.

This place exceeded all expectations!! The resort has a delicious restaurant, with several breakfast options included in your reservation. Lunch, dinner, and a bar are also available and wonderful. There is an on-site spa with amazing massage services. Free specialty coffees in the gift shop were a nice, unexpected touch. The hot tubs and pools, one with a slide, were wonderful to use at the end of a long day! The staff went above and beyond to make a birthday we were celebrating, extra special. The staff puts you in a group message and is always available to help. Cannot say enough good things about the staff and stay!
