I had a wonderful stay at Michael and Sandra’s place! They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions. The cabin was spotless, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable after long days of exploring Monteverde. One of the absolute highlights of my trip was spending time with Michael as a guide. His knowledge of the local wildlife is outstanding, and thanks to him I was able to see and photograph so many amazing animals that I never would have found on my own. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Monteverde. Highly recommended!

Sandra et Michael sont adorables! La maison était impeccable. On se sentait en sécurité. Parfait pour un cours séjour. L’eau n’est pas très chaude pour la douche. Nous avons fait le visite nocturne avec Micheal. C’était super intéressant! À faire absolument! Merci à vous deux pour le bel accueil!

Mickael et Sandra sont des hôtes merveilleux. Le logement est confortable et situé tout près du refuge des animaux. A côté de la maison nous avons observé des singes capucins, un paresseux. Mickael est un guide nature, nous avons fait une sortie de nuit dans la réserve avec lui, c était magique.

Réservez cette maison, vous ne le regretterez pas. C’est assez proche du village pour trouver ce dont on a besoin, et en même temps on a un feeling de nature incroyable. Un soir, une quinzaine de capucins sont passés juste à côté de la maison! La maison est facile à trouver et très propre. Vous n’aurez pas besoin de 4x4 (mais ailleurs à Monteverde, oui). Nous avons aussi réservé une excursion nocturne avec nos enfants (9 et 11 ans) et Michael, qui est un très bon guide. Il nous a aussi donné des conseils sur d’autres activités à faire dans la région. Je le recommande vraiment.

Really enjoyable stay. Good hosts, feels in the heart of the jungle with a great location (car is probably needed to get into Monteverde town. Monteverde brewing company is great. Michael’s night tour was superb, highly recommend.

Michael & Sandra's house was really nice. Very cosy and and in the middle of a beautiful forest a few kilometers from Monteverde. Michael took us on an incredible night tour from the house during which we saw many animals (butterflies, insects, pit viper, boa constrictor, scorpions, bats, sloths). Not only could he spot a lot of wildlife, but he was great at telling us about all of them. Our 2 daughters (5 and 8 years old) loved it and this has been one of the highlight of our trip in Costa Rica.

Our stay at Green Habitat was amazing! Sandra was a very warm and welcoming host, and went out of her way to make sure our stay was wonderful. She gave recommendations on things to do, and booked excursions for us. Sandra even helped to find a last-minute lodging option for another family who decided to join us at the last minute! The space was comfortable and clean, close to town, and right near the Wildlife Preserve. Great stay overall, largely due to Sandra's help!

This place was wonderful! Michael and Sandra were incredibly helpful and super responsive! They helped me whenever I needed anything right away! The place is secluded a bit off the road and is very close to the nature reserve! 10/10 with 100/10 hosts! if you are going to Monteverde stay here!
