The Space
When a professional interior designer teams up with her IT expert husband to create an Airbnb in Costa Rica, the result is a stylish retreat equipped with modern technology. The home includes high-speed Wi-Fi, a RING alarm and exterior camera monitoring system, and all the comforts of home during your vacation.
This compact house embodies what the owners describe as an “unconventional beach house” vibe. Unique features include:
- Loft beds in both bedrooms
- Hand-poured concrete floors
- Vaulted ceilings made from clear corrugated roofing covered with sailing fabric
The sailing fabric reduces direct UV rays while allowing natural light to gently illuminate the main living area, creating an indoor space that feels connected to the outdoors. Throughout the house, natural colors and textures inspired by earth, sand, and sky are thoughtfully incorporated.
Note: The hand-poured natural concrete floors exhibit variations in shade, color, and texture. Fine hairline veins and darker color spots are natural characteristics of this flooring style.
Guest Access
Please be aware that there is a locked storage bodega at the rear of the house and a locked utility room within the property.
Parking Rules
- A maximum of two standard-size cars or SUVs may be parked inside the front gate on the property.
- Any additional vehicles must be parked outside the front gate.
- Parking inside the gate is only allowed just inside the entrance gate and not beyond the "no parking" sign.
- Parking on either side of the house is strictly prohibited at all times. Violating this rule will result in an immediate request to vacate the property.

Great place to stay if you are looking to beach hop and relax by the pool. Can get pretty dusty as the road nearby is a dirt path. Loft beds are cute but can be challenging if you’re not ready to climb to bed :p

Great house. Looks just like the pictures. Did not feel small at all. Beautifully decorated. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

This is hand down the best place to stay in the area. Walking distance to many great places to eat. Peaceful area, very quiet. 10-20 min drive from many amazing beaches. The house is small at first and once you live in it for a day it becomes all you would ever need in your life. Can’t say enough.

This is one of the top Airbnbs that I have stayed in and was a highlight of the last leg of my trip in Costa Rica. The space is well designed and tastefully decorated. The lighting from the sky-light ceilings, windows and interior lighting all add to the pleasant atmosphere. It seems like each room was thoughtfully set up with comfort, style, functionality and efficiency in mind. The kitchen was well appointed with every gadget and appliance that you think you might need to make a meal or snack. The washer and dryer were super nice to have. And private swimming pool was a really nice luxurious addition. My party of three found the rooms and beds comfortable and quiet (with the exception of an occasional mango bouncing off the roof). Overall a really wonderful home to stay for the week. The location is also top notch. The house is a few blocks walk from the beach (that's right, the Pacific Ocean)! A few blocks south is a fresh fruit stand. Restaurants, café, and grocery are also really close. We could get all places in Playa Potrero by foot. Food is great and the people that we met both local or traveling were all friendly.

We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica! Dos Toros is well maintained and has everything you need for a wonderful adventure. Regan is a wonderful host, and the property manager, Sophie, is close by and always available. Don't pass up the opportunity to spend time at this treasure!

Omg! Our stay at this property was Amazing! The location is great. Very comfortable for my husband & I. Definitely good for a family with kids ages 10-18 due to the bedding in the twin bedrooms. Dos Toros was truly a Home away from Home for us! Regan & Philip are Amazing Hosts. Sofia the rental agent will help with anything...Can’t wait to stay there again. Our stay at the property was truly Pura Vida!!!

Amazing property 2 blocks from the beach with a couple mango trees on site you can pick for breakfast. It was a very quite and relaxed stay except for the blackout due to a downed power line but Kevin was very responsive and the power was back within hours and the wifi the next day. I don't think this is a typical experience but maybe bring a battery pack. Besides that enjoy the beach and check out the tours nearby!

It's such a comfy and beautiful place. Very safe, clean and stylish. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. I'm totally looking forward to coming back here, and would very much recommend it to other travelers. The area is pretty quiet, the house has a great location, very easy to find, and it's about a 3 min walk to the beach. It's also very close to restaurants and a local supermarket, all within a 5min walk.
