Perfect Ocean Hideaway!!!
Palo Seco is almost an island, as it is a secluded and private strip of land where on one side you have the beauty of the Pacific Ocean, and on the other you have the nature of the Parrita mangrove. Pool on premises and restaurants close to the house. (For rents over 3 days , electricity covers up to $100, 8 hours is about $10 dollars a days, over the $100 renters pays differencee lectricity bill is not included) The space This is a 3 bedroom and 2.5 baths home, with an outdoor swimming pool, granite countertops in the kitchen, wide open spaces, plenty of balcony upstairs and downstairs, parking space for at least 6 cars of more, green areas, palm trees, beach, nature! Guest access Because of it being far away from the town of Parrita, you will need a car to get to the property and go from it to other places such as the world famous Manuel Antonio National Park which is located in the town of Quepos, a few miles from the town of Parrita. Other things to note Come, relax, and enjoy this little corner of the Earth waiting for you. The electric bill of the house is paid separately from rental by the guest during his/her stay. I also require a refundable cash security deposit of $200 for stays of 6 days or more and a $500 security deposit for stays of one month. The cash deposit will be returned on check-out.

We loved staying at this perfect hideaway! It was right in front of the ocean and a huge pool. We loved Israel and we thank him so much for all of his help, he gave us coconuts, fresh tuna and gave us a boat ride at the Estero for a great price! We will definitely would to stay there again sometime!

Was a great time. We really enjoyed the place so peaceful. Away from everything. A little drive to eat out but for us worth it. Went fishing out of the marina in Quepos about an hour drive. Hopefully we will get to stay there again.

We are a family of 5 (3 high school age kids). This house was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for - family time, access to the ocean, wonderful pool, and adventures close by. Israel was amazing and scheduled horses on the beach, fishing for dorado/sail fish, bonfire, massages on the beach, zip line tour with Sky Adventures (REALLY cool), and his private "monkey tour." Here are a few notes: - The bunk room can easily handle 4 kids. - Google Maps said the drive from San Jose was 2.5 hours, but traffic and construction made it 3.5 hours, so plan accordingly - The dirt road into the house is very easy. - We played in the ocean non-stop. The house has 4 boogie boards which were awesome! There were some times where we felt a strong undertow, so we would move to shallow water - Having direct access to the beach cannot be beat. - The host and Israel were both fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here.

The place was absolutely beautiful. Right by the beach. Great host. Israel was helpful and kind. The dogs nearby were adorable. It was very private and quiet. Beautiful views of the property a d the ocean. It was very relaxing. We went boogie boarding every morning.

This place was absolutely amazing and beautiful! The house with the open layout was perfect, the pool and the waterfall right out back was perfect, and then 20 steps to the beach. It’s not a tourist area at all so it’s pretty much a private beach. Israel, the caretaker was absolutely incredible! He was so nice and kind and helpful. He responded to anything that we needed. If you need something, ask him, he is the man. If you are going to do a mangrove boat tour, don’t book elsewhere, look no farther. Israel has the boat 10 steps from the driveway. He took eight of us on an amazing mangrove boat tour and saw monkeys and crocodiles and the mangroves. He is so good with kids! He just wants the kids to have a good time. We really appreciated him and enjoyed hanging out with him. Do you want to ride horses on the beach? No problem, he’ll have horses out back whenever you want them! And everything he set up for us, we felt was pretty reasonably priced. Thank you for an amazing week!!!

The backyard and view to the sea are spectacular. The beach is right at the end of the yard, and it is beautiful - long and almost empty of people! The pool is very pretty and we loved the hammocks. The ocean was too rough to swim - a bummer but we enjoyed wading and walking on the beach. A special shout out to Israel, who took very good care of us. Take his boat tour of the mangroves - it is a truly unique and wonderful experience! We love Israel’s sweet dogs! The home could use a little TLC to make it really exceptional. The couches need replacing (leather so torn up we got scratched). The doors don’t close tightly so expect bugs. The front of the house is scruffy (but who’s bothering to look at the front with that back view!). Overall, the place is more dated than the pictures show. If you, like we, care more about the natural setting than the interior, this place is ideal! A memorable stay!

Overall, we loved the place—great views, right on the beach (which is vast and empty). Israel is a great guy who lives on the property and helps you with anything you need. Take his monkey tour or ask about other tours he offers. Some things that we didn't like: - the bumpy road that takes you there. It's about 10-15min driving through big potholes to go anywhere. Luckily we have had a bigger SUV to absorb some of them. - towels... The towels were terrible. I think they should trash them. They are useless. Thankfully, they provided plenty of beach towels that we used instead. - many things in the house are dated and need to be updated. - the place needs better organization for things - bring your own detergent, or get it in a super, which is a bumpy drive away :)
