Casa Sámara HerSan: Front Beach House

Realmente pasamos unos dias espectaculares pero definitivamente lo que más resaltó de esta experiencia es la atención personalizada y la humildad con la que fuimos recibidos tanto por Don Gerardo como por su Sra Esposa (Doña Tere), ambos fueron unos anfitriones ejemplares, atentos y respetuoso demostrando interés por nuestras solicitudes y necesidades con el fin de ayudarnos a sentirnos como en casa...

Very beautiful place! Steps from the beach. Wonderful pool too! You must understand the connection to the culture as the Airbnb is in the middle of the community. If you’ve never stayed in Playa Samara it offers so much beauty and more! At night you will hear all of the sounds in the community including domestic animals, chickens, turkeys, monkeys, birds and more birds. If you are looking for complete quiet and blackout rooms then this is not it. You will have critters visit at night as the curtains are open shutters. My kids found this entertaining. The mosquito nets kept us from any bites. It does get hot as the unit cannot provide AC. We found it comfortable enough in the evenings, nights and early mornings. We just had to stay in the pool or ocean during the heat of the day. The host was very responsive and tried to help when we noticed a crack in the kayak. They tried to fix it for us when we were there. We will definitely be back! Thank you Playa Samara, what a great town:)

We had such a wonderful stay here! Our kids absolutely loved the pool, and even without air conditioning, the house was always very comfortable. It’s well shaded by lush vegetation and there’s a constant natural breeze that keeps everything cool. The location was great, about a 20 minute walk along the beach into town or just a quick 7 minute drive. The view was breathtaking. There’s also a small supermarket nearby with everything you might need. The hosts were very communicative and easy to work with. Overall, five stars all the way. We loved it so much!

We absolutely loved our stay. It was more beautiful than anticipated. It was amazing to listen to the birds every morning while having coffee. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We felt so connected to nature while also enjoying luxuries and comforts.

Casa Sàmara is a uniquely built home which allows you to connect with the beautiful surroundings. You can watch the sunset over the ocean from the house, porch or by walking a few yards to the beach in front of you! Sleep to the sound of birds. My family had the perfect vacation.

The sign of any great trip/stay is that you never want to leave and that is definitely the case with our time at Casa Samara HerSan! We had a full house with two families ages 15-55yrs filling every bed. Our hosts were quick to respond from booking to the end of our trip and were lovely receiving us at the house. If you’ve read the previous reviews there shouldn’t be any surprises. We were fully satisfied and loved our time living beach front for 10 days. Pura Vida!

Spent 2 weeks with 7 people, cooked most of our meals in-house! The kitchen had everything for large gatherings! We plan on returning!

Cozy house with a unique spirit, where you feel close to nature and completely relaxed. The swimming pool and the deck with a large table overlooking the ocean are lovely. We really enjoyed the swimming gear - kayak, fins, mask, and bodyboards, very useful! We also appreciated the welcoming touch of fresh fruit, tea, and coffee.

We loved it here! The house is beautiful and provided such a great living space for our two families. The kids loved the pool and we saw lots of lizards and birds on the property. The fans helped so that sleeping wasn’t an issue in the humid climate. It was perfect!
