We were continually telling ourselves, “I can’t believe this is where we are staying.” It was such a beautiful relaxing stay! Perfect spot for our beginner surfers.

Casa Vista Azul is such a gem! Our family of four had plenty of space to spread out. The location is very private but just a two minute walk down to the amazing sandy beach. Playa Negra has a few great restaurant options and a small market. Playa Avellanas is less than 15 min drive and has other dining options. We were so happy to spend our days back and forth between the beach and relaxing by the gorgeous pool. The home’s living space is open air and separates the two other buildings (one with one bedroom and the other with two bedrooms). This setup was ideal for our family with older kids but something to consider with small children as one of the bedrooms is very separate from the other two. The kitchen was equipped with all the dishes and cookware we needed to prepare our meals. Nice gas stove with a griddle which was great for breakfast especially! Mary was very responsive - and came to greet us despite our later than expected arrival after dark. She gave us a quick tour. 5 stars!

Beautiful place to stay right on the beach. The place is huge and private. Bed was cozy and the air conditioning worked great.

This is our 2nd time booking this wonderful house. We will book again for sure. this is the perfect location to relax, enjoy the pool, the beach and the sun. Could not ask for a better place to spend our vacation in Costa Rica

Paradise away from home. Open air living is fabulous. Mary had tons of great recommendations for restaurants / in- home chefs / food delivery- we took advantage of it all and couldn’t be happier. A few random things didn’t work in the house (to be expected in a very humid moist climate). Mary was extremely responsive and took care of things within an hour or less. I highly recommend staying at Casa Vista Azul if you visit CR. Thanks for a great vacation Mary!!

Un petit coin de paradis

This was such an amazing place to stay. We enjoyed having the private pool and direct beach access every day. The beach was never crowded and we spent hours in the water. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out and enjoy a wonderful beach vacation. The host, Mary, was very responsive. She gave great local recommendations and responded very quickly whenever I reached out to her. I could not imagine a better place to stay. We can’t wait to return.
