My friend and I had a wonderful stay here over new years. It was clean, spacious, comfortable. Had everything we needed. The view of the lagoon is beautiful, and you could walk to a coffee shop across the street.

I was very upset the pool was closed and we were not notified about it. Vacasa blamed it on Mara Laguna for not telling them, but Vacasas office is right beside the pool, after I notified them about 5 days later they notified me the pool was closed from that date forward till Dec 6. I guess they forgot about the 5 days previous. Is this not your business to make sure I was notified? I never saw anyone from Vacasa normally they pop by or check in didn't happen other than me texting them. I had next to no water on check in which I asked Vacasa about and they told me it was delivered 🙄🙄🙄 I assured them it was not, so a jug was delivered after my husband bought one. Also the owner above this unit has is Tv on 24/7 at a ridiculous level, I mentioned it twice and was told to call the police or wear ear plugs. I was not calling the police how ridiculous, so I did wear ear plugs alot this was 2, 3 4 in the morning I am talking. I will not be returning to this unit due to the noise.

First time in Belize and they informed us of great places to visit. Well stocked with blankets, cooking and eating utensils, and towels. We would return!

Have stayed in Mara Laguna multiple times. First time staying in this unit. Very nice ground floor unit, close to the pool and in a great location just north of the bridge. Nice and quiet but close to the action!

I would suggest you book this location if you want to see a beautiful water front every day. Its located in a central location and directly across from a massage place, coffee house and food trucks. The property has security that is there 24/7, and they were super friendly. The locals were extremely helpful and friendly as well. Worth every penny!

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was as well-equipped as any apartment you would find in the U.S. Plenty of space for everything and parking right in front of the steps. Location was great too. Just a couple of minutes to the "bridge" and a breakfast place across the street. Air conditioning was ice cold, water nice and hot and there was a bottled water dispenser for drinking/making ice. We spend a lot of time on the balcony and were able to see the crocodiles a few times. It was very quiet, and we only saw neighbors a few times. The pool was a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Another great thing. I dropped my wallet in the parking lot while leaving the condo. Security found it and held it until I got back. They recognized me immediately and gave it back intact. Glad to know there are still honest people out there.

This suite is as advertised. We enjoyed the proximity to the town and great restaurants. The bonus was the three crocodiles and dozen iguanas sunning themselves outside on the grass below the balcony. The pool is really nice and a short walk from the unit. Not recommended for those with small children due to lack of guardrail between balcony and crocs!

Good location away from the hustle/bustle of downtown, but within walking distance. Place was as described. Plenty of room and amenities. Floors could have used a mopping, but the place was clean. The only complaint was with the Neighbors upstairs, who were regularly a little noisy in the middle of the night (loud tv). Overall, a decent place to stay.
