Villa el Mango is a modern luxury villa located in the northern area of Santa Teresa Beach, Costa Rica. Completed in April 2021, this stunning three-level home is situated on a steep hill within a secure neighborhood. Access typically requires a 4x4 vehicle.
The villa is named after the beautiful mango trees that surround the property, blending naturally with the lush tropical environment.
Spanning 200 square meters, Villa el Mango offers:

- A large outdoor area featuring a barbecue, dining space, sun loungers, and a striking infinity-edge saltwater pool
On the main floor, you will find three bedrooms, the living room, kitchen, and the entire outdoor area including the barbecue and pool. The fourth bedroom is located on the ground floor, providing additional privacy.
Designed with a clean, modern European aesthetic and high-end finishes, the open floor plan seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor living spaces through floor-to-ceiling windows and bi-fold glass doors. This design allows for effortless dining and lounging while enjoying the tropical climate.
A teak deck surrounds the infinity pool, and the gardens with tropical trees complement the villa’s architecture. There is also a guest half bathroom located in the hallway.
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped, and both ceiling fans and air conditioning offer cooling ventilation alongside the refreshing ocean breeze.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire villa except for the laundry area, which includes the washing machine and dryer. Only the housekeeper has access to this space and is available to assist guests as needed.
Location
Villa el Mango is just a 10-minute walk from the pristine white sand beaches and world-class surf breaks of Santa Teresa. The main road of Santa Teresa, featuring cafes, shops, supermarkets, and restaurants, is also within walking distance.
The access road to the villa is partially paved; the first half is unpaved. Depending on the season, a 4x4 vehicle may be necessary for access—please consult the concierge for details.
It is recommended to have some form of transportation, such as a 4x4 car or ATV, due to the steep streets and the spread-out nature of Santa Teresa, which extends over 7 kilometers. Having a vehicle makes it easier to explore the town and enjoy all its attractions.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The home is exactly as pictured - lovely views, beautiful surroundings, great pool. The house was spotless and it was a treat to have Deysi come every day to clean. The night security guard was great too - helped us look for crabs! There are mangos everywhere - and they are delicious. We went horseback riding and took a boat ride - both arranged by Judit and both we would highly recommend. The road up to the house is a little rough but our rental cars handled it just fine - just beware that it is up a hill and the road isn't great. However, once you get there you'll be in heaven! You can walk to the town from the house too!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mango! Judit was incredibly helpful in organizing activities and transport. The home was beautiful, and while up a very steep hill, close by to restaurants and the beach. The room configuration worked well for our family of 6. Two of the bedrooms have separate entrances so great for mixed families who want privacy, or those with older kids. I’d highly recommend!

I have stayed in many Airbnbs and this was by far THE BEST Airbnb experience I have ever had. The place is fantastic, with a beautiful sunset view every night. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable and unique. It was perfectly clean, and the daily cleaning service was a bonus. Judit was incredibly helpful in showing us how to get there, organizing fresh groceries for our arrival, and also helpful in organizing excursions. It is close to town and accessible with ATVs/car, but we also enjoyed the hike up the hill if you're up for a little challenge (really it's 5-10 min walk from the bottom). Well worth every penny, don't think twice about booking this place.

Amazing place. We were absolutely blown away and completely spoiled staying here. Every single room & bathroom was a dream, not to mention the pool and outside area. It is right down the road from everything in town, amazing location. I think the best part about staying here was that we felt at home. Daisy, the cleaning lady, would put on a completely new set of sheets every day and make the house spotless. The host is extremely responsive and nice and gave us her best recommendations, and helped us book many local tours and activities. The security guard is also great touch and he was super nice. We were really sad to leave this place and would 10000% stay here again.

Our first time to Costa Rica! We picked the perfect beach area for a chill vacation with our family of 6. Our concierge, Judit, communicated thru What’s app responding shortly after sending a question. Judit arranged airport taxis for our family, dinner reservations with an advance list of local restaurants and ATVs for the week…these are very necessary because the hill going to and from the beach town is very steep. The master bedroom, unfortunately, is beautifully located on the front of the house but was always very warm even with curtains closed and air conditioning on. The air conditioner in that room could use Freon. It is hardly cool. The housekeeper Daisy came every day and made sure the home was immaculate. It was a treat to have our dusty clothes from ATV trips into town washed each day. Thanks Daisy. A security guard came to watch over the property from 6 pm to 6 am. I’m curious why he needed to be there because the little town appears very safe and comfortable.

I’m going to give you the real… everything you’ll need to know before booking. The views: AMAZING The Communication: Extremely accommodating; host continuously checked in to make sure we were okay and we did not have to search or think too much when it came to activities. Any and everything you need, they can book immediately for you! The Cleanliness: Perfect and efficient, someone came to clean everyday. Things to know.. an ATV is REQUIRED if you want to stay at this home. If you don’t you will regret it. This home sits on the top of two very steep hills and is a not so nice walk to go up and down the hill… especially at night there is minimal lighting. We felt very safe at the home as they had hired security every night at the space. The space is perfect for a couple or a group. Only 2 bedrooms are in the actual home where living room and kitchen space are the other 2 rooms are in their own space offering privacy for a group. THE HOME AND AREA IS PERFECT BOOK IT NOW! ♥️
