The house was beautiful due to it's artistic design and the natural materials used throughout the home. There were 8 of us staying there and we never felt crowded. Several wonderful places to have private prayers/ meditations or rooftop yoga watching the sun rise. We really appreciated the salt water pool; the size of the pool was bigger than shown in the photos. We didn't have time for the lovely sauna. We saw coati and a rare species of monkey, the Geoffrey Spider money right in the back yard! Many species of birds everywhere! The easy and beautiful walk to the lagoon allowed us many swimming adventures. Early in the morning or later in the afternoon when all the tourists clear out is best. Snorkeling we saw many varieties of fish because the water is clear and the huge stones are nice rest pots when needed. The lagoon is netted off from the ocean so there are no sharks or larger fish to worry about. There is a bus, "colectivo" right at the entrance to take you to the cenotes!

The house is a gem… So we’ll designer and maintained. The jungle pulse is all around you and the peacefulness is great. The care takers are very sweet and took good care of us. Samson is very responsive and helpful in planning our trip. Being 20 minutes from either tulum or playa makes it easy to get into town when you want and have your own secluded paradise when you don’t. The lagoon and area around the house is very nice to walk and snorkel. Thank you for a great experience!

Hi Clean house. On-site staff was commutative and lovely. There were several miscommunications with the on-site and remote staff, namely: - After several days of back and forth regarding the jacuzzi temperature, we were finally informed after checking out by the remote staff that it won’t go that high - we are use to a jacuzzi around 100f. It would have been great to know that during our stay, but neither the local or remote staff informed us until after - The sauna stopped working two days in and it was blamed on operator error - as we left it on too long? The key thing: at no point in time we’re either of these communicated to us, it was only after asking for a small refund for due to the lack of facilities. This was followed by deleting messages on whats app. TAs per usual, the remote staff will most likely refute this in a reply. Beyond that the lagoon is wonderful, the wildlife is great. You’ll need a car to get around, or a lot of taxis.

Todo el lugar es increible, un hermoso conjunto con acceso privado a una laguna espectacular. La casa es amplia y muy hermosa. Y los anfitriones son increíbles.

Samson is incredibly helpful and responsive, the place also is extremely well maintained and is very safe considering the location and the city it’s in. The place came with its own security and maids and they were happy to help us clean up everyday. Also even though we ended up keeping extra people with us, Samson helped out and found a way to accommodate them. I definitely recommend him and specially this listing.

Beautiful spot, the lagoon is amazing-the best feature. And Akumal is a wonderful area to be, so easy to get to many cenotes, restaraunts, and grocery stores. The house is wonderful, the kids loved the steam room and pool!

Highly highly recommend this beautiful home. The location was beautiful and a 5 minute walk to the lagoon where we snorkeled daily. A car is required to drive to the Akumal but it is quick and easy trip. The accommodations were better than the photos, we felt like we were in our own private paradise! Carmen and Jorge were lovely and helpful. Cecilia was so accommodating leading up to the trip and during. If you are considering a trip to Akumal, this home is a must book!

Beautiful house but Sansón Waters are not well organised. They sent me directions to a different property and made me waste 40 minutes trying to find the house.

Five Star House, wonderful staff, helpful hostess always on the end of a message to help. This home is easy to highly recommend. The lagoon is wonderful to swim in and as the shore is piled with seaweed, by far the best swimming we had. The Lagoon has so many fish and is easy to get in and out of. The house has a good three bedrooms. They turn a small lounge into a fourth and it has an en-suite. The kitchen is very well equipped and the pool and jacuzzi are great. We stayed at other homes in the region and this was by far the most modern, well equipped and gave us the most joy. 5* Highly Recommend.
