Fruit Houses

Very nice little house, comfortable, clean, well planned, with all we needed, and good quality utensils. On a side road up on a hill, surrounded by tall trees and plants for privacy, while close to town and the beach. The howlers crossed through the trees, real close, and we were there right after the first rains of the rainy season, when the big crabs were heading down to the beach - the first night about 3 came up onto the terrace, more the next evening, many the 3rd, and none on the 4th evening - fascinating. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating. I recommend staying here.

Great amenities. We made good use of the fridge, oven, and blender. The bathroom is a nice size with an excellent shower. The AC was a life saver as it was HOT! Amazing to sit on the patio in the hammocks and listen and watch the howler monkeys. We were also visited by lizards and freaky late night visits from crabs who scratched the patio glass, which felt on purpose to freak us out! The shared washer and dryer was also amazing to have. Wifi is fast and easy to connect to. Sometimes the units power would go out but never longer than about 5 seconds. The location is down a dirt road from centre of town. Short drive or 20 minute walk. Walk to beach is about 10 minutes. There’s a decent store about 5 minutes away on foot. Parking is available but there’s really only 2 spots for 3 units. A third car needs to park along the dirt driveway. Communication could be better. It sometimes took as long as 2 days to get a response when messaging on the Air BB app. Overall a great stay

Wir haben uns in dieser Unterkunft total wohlgefühlt. Die Räume sind toll eingerichtet und sauber. Die Gastgeber sind sehr sympathisch. Unser absolutes Highlight war die Terrasse, auf der wir viele Stunden verbrachten und den Brüllaffen beim Entspannen direkt vor uns in den Bäumen zuschauen konnten. Ein unglaubliches Erlebnis. Sie kamen nicht jeden Tag vorbei, doch zumindest aus der Ferne konnten wir sie täglich beobachten. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden. Wir kauften täglich in der nahegelegenen Boulangerie frisches Baguette und genossen an einem Abend die beste Pizza in der Pizzeria Cos-Ita.

We enjoyed our stay at the Casa. It was the perfect size for the two of us and the quaint sitting area/patio area was a treat as the howler monkeys constantly visited and rested. Would have been great to have an outdoor fan, but it was a really hot time of year. We liked the privacy and the excellent communication with the hosts. Great location!

Nous nous sommes très bien sentis dans ce airbnb. Il est excellemment équipé (ustensiles de cuisine, draps, linge de lit, jeux de société, hamacs etc). Une fois la voiture garée, vous avez accès pieds à la plage en 15 bonnes minutes, environ 5 minutes pour une supérette, une vingtaine de minutes du centre-ville à pied… bref parfait ! Les hôtes ont été super accueillants, le logement était nickel. Bref, foncez ! PS : on s’est même réveillés avec les singes dans les arbres !

Un séjour incroyable ! Nous nous sommes réveillé avec des singes hurleurs dans les arbres juste au dessus de nous ! Le logement est propre et très bien équipé. Je recommande fortement !

Mon amie et moi avons adoré séjourner là-bas! Petit logement intime et bien situé. Une cuisine complète et même plus (huiles, épices, etc). Nous avons eu la chance de voir une quinzaine de singes dans les arbres dans notre jardin! Nous recommandons cet endroit avec plaisir.
