Casa Pavo Real in Arenal

This was my second time in La Fortuna, and my experience was so much better this time staying at Hotel El Silencio del Campo. I loved how cozy and peaceful it is, and the farm adds a really special extra experience. If you’re looking to escape the craziness of the big resorts, this is a fantastic option. The staff is also outstanding—during my stay I had a flat tire, and they truly went above and beyond to help me. That level of care made a big difference. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

We had a fabulous stay! Our family thoroughly enjoyed having the spacious lodging while using all of the hotel amenities, especially the hot springs! The property is well located for excursions and the host and hotel staff were wonderful. My kids enjoyed visiting the farm and collecting the eggs and riding the horses as well as seeing Bella the pig on the property! It truly is a one of a kind place! The included breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed other meals at the restaurant and bar.

We loved our stay at La Casita! A hidden gem. We enjoyed the grounds, the sweet farm animals, the helpful and friendly staff and the close proximity to day time adventures. Would definitely stay again!

My family came here from Liberia after a red eye. The place was clean, we all had our own air conditioned rooms and the pool was nice to splash around in.

Incredible experience at this place. If we come back to La Fortuna, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great staff, super fun farm with cool animals, it just adds a fun element to the experience, and the hot pots are really something special. always felt like we had our own place. Thanks for letting us stay!

We stayed for 2 nights at this casita. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a simple but comfortable 3 bedroom casita on the property of el silencio del campo resort. The best part is the amenities. You have access to everything at the hotel. The pool, the hot springs, spa, the barn with cows, horses, chickens, peacocks to visit. Breakfast is included. For the price this place is incredible. Would definitely stay here again, whether at the casita or the hotel. Only issues we had was with the hotel booking excursions, and when we had some in our group who ended up not going we could not be refunded. I would be careful with that. We had an infant and toddler so our plans were fluid. Hard to book things with certainty in advance. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

This Airbnb is essentially a family cabin at Silencio Del Campo resort. As a guest, you have access to all of the amenities as any guest at the resort would. That being said we had room for our family with a kitchen and two bedrooms through one door and an attached one bed one bath with an outdoor seating area. We were very close to the barn, which was amazing! This complex is incredibly clean and well-maintained. Every employee was friendly and kind, highly recommend for a family who enjoys animals. We also found that the resort never felt busy, and act a few times we had the Hot Springs entirely to ourselves. I would highly recommend this! It was delightful!
