Our stay at hotel Amavi could not have been better. First and foremost, the concierge Matthew went above and beyond to check in on us, provide any needs and help navigate Jaco. The excursions were amazing, highly recommend the atvs and catamaran tortuga island day. The property itself is set up beautifully. I came with 12 of my friends for my graduation trip and we all loved it. The set up is perfect for large groups. Also the pool party with the dj was incredible. Anything you could ask for, Matthew and the team at amavi took care of. We Will stay here over and over and over. Truly an incredible experience all around. You should absolutely stay here if you get a chance. 10/10. 5 stars. All don’t feel enough to cover how great this was. The chef is also the phenomenal. Overall no notes!

Matt and team were absolutely delightful. They were incredible hosts and went above and beyond to manage our experience. The property was extremely clean, welcoming and amazing for bachelor party. Matt helped to book, negotiate pricing and ensured the excursions and reservations we booked was only at the finest places with the best people! We look forward to calling this property home again. Had an amazing stay here. The pool was incredible and made the whole experience feel like a true getaway. The service was excellent as well, very responsive and welcoming throughout our stay. Matthew made sure we were taken care of with anything we needed, from setting up our excursions and activities to having food and drinks delivered to us. The location is perfect, nice private spot right next to the beach and only a 5 minute Uber ride away from the main strip. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing spot.

We had a great last minute booking in Jaco. Amavi was great for our multi generation family. Separate rooms, great pool and bar area, and plenty of seating. 150 steps away from the beach! Great walking beach and awesome waves that everyone had fun with! Definitely will recommend to family and friends.

What truly sets Amavi apart is the experience. From coordinating golf carts to arranging in-house massages and private yoga sessions, everything felt seamless. Having a private chef also elevated our stay. Being able to have all my friends together in one gorgeous, private space made the trip unforgettable. We loved it so much, we even booked an extra night because none of us were ready to leave. It’s truly the place to be. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Our group of friends stayed at Hotel Amavi for two nights and had an amazing experience. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for a group getaway. The location is excellent—*very close to the beach* and close to everything Jaco has to offer, yet still quiet and peaceful. It was the ideal home base for our trip. What truly made our stay stand out was the exceptional service, especially from *Matthew*. He was incredibly friendly, detail-oriented, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect for us. Matthew was available at any time, responded within minutes, and always checked in to be sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His warm attitude and attention to detail made a huge difference and made us feel truly welcome. We all felt very well taken care of and had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend Hotel Amavi for anyone visiting Jaco, especially groups of friends.

We had an unforgettable stay in Jaco with a group of 13, and this property exceeded our expectations. The setup was perfect for a large group, with 9 separate rooms so everyone had their own space, plus great shared areas to gather. The pool and common area became our main hangout spot and were ideal for spending time together. The location couldn’t be better — just a 2-minute walk to the beach and about a 10-minute walk to downtown, making everything super convenient. We also felt very safe throughout our stay thanks to the gated property. A huge highlight was Chef Johnathan, who was friendly, easygoing, and made incredible meals — especially his legendary steak night. He handled everything from shopping to cooking to cleanup, and every meal was perfectly on time. Matt, our concierge, was hands down the best amenity. He helped with every activity, gave amazing recommendations, and even coordinated and filmed a proposal. His service truly made the trip unforgettable.
