Secret Jaco is absolutely beautiful. The balcony and outside scenery is amazing. The beach is just steps away and a very clean portion of the beach. You can literally walk to town in three minutes and have all the restaurants and grocery stores you want. The home was very comfortable and well appointed. The private suite was roomy with a large bathroom. We loved the place and hope we can come back and visit again.

I Came Here For My 24th birthday and Chile…gagged… this place IS EVERYTHING! HAS EVERYTHING! OMG the pics match the place to the tee, the details in this place is unreal, the service, the area , everything. & Rest assured from the moment you hit Pay this Host Phil, Will Take care of everything and make your stay perfection ! Only Wish I stayed longer!

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is so beautiful. The condo was clean and smelled good. The view was absolutely stunning. The host is friendly, very responsive, and flexible with plans. The directions he gave led us right to the place. I will definitely book again when I come back to Jaco.

The apartment was beautiful the suite had small ants everywhere inside the room the bed is a Queen it’s too small for a couples room there was no napkins or paper towels for you to use period and the fact that they went through my trash and tried to charge me for trash is ridiculous. I even had an emergency the day of check in and didn’t get there til the next day and they couldn’t give me 5.00s back but is trying to say something is wrong I’ll visit the beautiful Costa Rica again just not with them at this airb&b

As advertised—EXTRA as it appears, spectacular balcony views worth the price of admission. Security was excellent (apartment and gated parking). Amenities were great: easy pool/hot tub access, well maintained, and steps from the beach. Lighting Malfunction: The system was complicated and not fully functional. Private controls were off/full bright, the common living room lacked a functional switch, and several switches flashed upon arrival. We opted not to report this for our one-night stay, but complex systems should be tested and functional before check-in. Ambience: Highly stylized, "over the top" atmosphere. Guest seeking a restful, mellow, or serene environment should adjust expectations accordingly. Pressure: Documentation is excessive and the stay involves repeated, high-pressure communication regarding the required 5-star rating. Ultimately, a true 5-star experience comes without pressure and shouldn't require host assistance to for essential systems are operating correctly.
