Wir waren im grossen und ganzen zufrieden. Die zahlreichen würmer haben uns aber doch ein wenig zu schaffen gemacht. Wir sind uns bewusst, dass wir mit insekten in einem tropischen land rechnen müssen, allerdings hatten wir in anderen unterkünften in costa rica in der gleichen preisklasse keine probleme. Die lage ist gut, sehr nahe zum strand. Auch die kommunikation war einwandfrei. Allerdings hat es auch sehr stark reingeregnet als es mal geregnet hatte, vorallem im wohnzimmer. Die kommunikation war auch stets sehr gut.

We enjoyed our stay and the amenities—it was fairly close to town, about a 10 minute drive or 35 minute walk. The beach was about 7 mins away. We did have some issues with cleanliness, the kitchen hasn’t been cleaned very well, there were grease stains on the stove, the trash was full and smelly, and the bed covers had stains. If not for those issues this would have been an easy 5 stars.

La casi es muy hermosa, tranquila y acogedora, el host muy comunicativo, amable y atento, la pasamos bien. Sin embargo hay algunos puntos de mejora muy importantes que me gustaría mencionar 1- La limpieza de la casa no era la mejor, cuando llegamos habían varias cosas que no se veían limpias, entre esas la alfombra del cuarto, se veía sucia o muy manchada y el jardín crecido y con muchas hojas, desde el día que entramos. 2- Hay muchísimos insectos, es entendible porque hay mucha naturaleza, pero debería de haber una mejor fumigación del lugar, cuando llegamos habían 15 gusanos aprox en cada cuarto los cuales se subían a todas partes y una cucaracha en los platos limpios. 3- En uno de los baños la ducha tiene un pésimo desagüe, se nos inundó el cuarto porque el agua no se va, toda el agua agarra hacia el lado de la puerta. Y en la cocina el segundo día se nos salió el agua también. 4- La parte de atrás aún no está cercada, es toda alambre de púas, lo cual no me pareció muy seguro.

Hola puntos importantes La parte trasera no tiene tapia , está cerrada solo con alambre de púa , lo cual no es seguro Tuvimos una situación , el vecino nos indicó que alguien había ingresado a la propiedad y tuvieron que llamar a la policía Me parece que por el costo del lugar deberían cerrar esa parte de la propiedad para que sea seguro No hay secadora de cabello Dentro de las habitaciones hay muchos insectos

The kitchen ceiling had a bad water leak due to the rain which caused my son's iPad to get destroyed. I reached out to the management corp and I was told to place the device in rice and shut it off and then it should work. I was also informed that they were aware of a water leak in the bathroom not the kitchen, however the following night the 1/2 bathroom was flooded due to another water leak that was previously reported to the management corp. Not sure as to why a water leak was reported and not rectified. The shower door (bottom of door) is full of mildew and not properly clean. On a positive note When I called and text they were quick to response, but not knowledgeable with solutions. The house is modern, rustic roads, close to the beach. Honestly due to the management I would not further recommend this place. I seek no compensation as I own several properties, however this was not one of my favorites, not ideal to deal with cleaning and bailing water.

El lugar muy acogedor, tranquilo y muy bonito. El anfitrión muy amable, y servicial. El día del check in llegó una colabodora a recibirnos y hacernos entrega de la villa. Excelente. Siempre pendiente de uno. Cómo pasamos la primer noche etc. No hay quejas. Sólo a manera de observación, una mañana llegó el muchacho que limpia la piscina y no nos avisaron... 🤫Vale que no andábamos en paños menores 😄. Talvéz para futuros alquileres avisar con tiempo que alguien va a llegar para uno estar prevenido. Pero todo bien. Super recomendado el lugar. 🤙

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Palawan. Upon check-in, we were personally welcomed and given a tour of the house. The villa is very modern and decorated in a boho beach house style. The kitchen was fully equipped, and each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom. The beds were large and very comfortable. All rooms were exceptionally clean. The highlight was the spacious pool, perfect for relaxing. One or even multiple cars can easily be parked directly on the property. We were extremely satisfied with both the accommodation and the hosts. They were always available and quick to help whenever needed. If you’re looking for a worry-free experience in a stylish home within walking distance to the beach, this villa is the perfect choice.

Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Villa Palawan. Het is een prachtig huis met een heerlijk groot zwembad, perfect om na een warme dag in af te koelen. De villa ligt buiten het drukke centrum van Puerto Viejo, waardoor je kunt genieten van de rust, maar toch zijn er volop restaurantjes en winkeltjes in de buurt. De keuken is voorzien van alle basisbenodigdheden, wat het makkelijk maakt om zelf te koken. De slaapkamers zijn ruim en comfortabel, en beide beschikken over een eigen badkamer, wat erg fijn is. Het contact met de beheerders verliep soepel; ze waren vriendelijk en reageerden snel op vragen. De villa biedt veel privacy en je kunt de auto veilig op eigen terrein parkeren binnen het hek. Al met al is Villa Palawan een ideale uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen, zoals Puerto Viejo, Cahuita, Punta Uva en Manzanillo. We zouden het zeker aanraden!

La pasamos muy bien en Villa Palawan! El único inconveniente que tuvimos es que se fue la luz por 7 horas, pero al ser viernes Santo les fue dificil recurrir a un técnico que ayudara a solucionar. Al final llegó y arregló la situación. Fue incómodo pero los anfitriones hicieron lo posible por resolver. Por lo demás una casa hermosa, un ambiente tranquilo. Nos sentimos muy seguros. Vi en otras reseñas de otros huéspedes que queda a 2 minutos a pie, esto parece muy cerca, pero realmente queda a 400 metros. Es solo una aclaración para que no se piense que está a un paso de la playa, pero igualmente, no fue un inconveniente para disfrutar del mar. La ubicación nos gustó mucho! Muy cerca de Puerto Viejo pero lo suficientemente apartado para alejarse del bullicio. Las casas vecinas muy bonitas tambien. Definitivamente volvería!
