We booked Casa Pom-Pom for our family while celebrating our wedding in the Guanacaste area, and it exceeded every expectation. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa PomPom. The concierge was helpful and answered questions. The house was well stocked with bath towels and pool towels. The incline to the house is a little intimidating. You will need to rent a car or set up a driver through the concierge because of the gate into the area.

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Pom Pom. The view is divine and the house is beautifully appointed: comfortable beds, room to spread out, efficient well-stocked kitchen, gorgeous patio and surroundings. Alex is an excellent house manager and answered all our questions and made us feel welcomed. We will be back.

So the good parts first. CASA POM POM is an amazing well maintained property with a spectacular view. The pool and outdoor spaces are amazing. The description is good and it is in a very secure housing development behind gates. Great for large groups of many types. Certainly could lounge at the house all day if that is what you want to do. So the not so good parts. If you rent a car or van and are transporting yourself around its fine. Keep in mind the street is extremely steep so you better be good with a manual transmission. However if you are like our group getting any taxi, uber or delivery to this house is next to impossible and takes planning. For some reason uber sends every driver to the locked service gate down on the main highway were the gate is locked, its just dirt and no one is there. They should come to the Mount Parasio gate around and up the hill about 1/2 mile. This results in frustrated uber/taxi drivers who cancel. Limited review space so see my review on tripadviso

I love the location of this house. What a great view and not far from beaches, stores, and restaurants. The office was easy to find, and a house host took us to the house to explain everything. It felt very safe in a gated community and a separate gate for the house. Our only issue with the place was the lack of hot water. I sent a message to report it and they did send someone to fix it, but it was out again by the next morning.

The airbnb itself was superb! It looked just like the pictures online and offered many amenities. Additionally, the location was near great beaches and restaurants. My only negative comment is about the checkin process. The host sent the wrong address (still in walking distance from the airbnb). We waited for approximately 20 minutes before we could get into the airbnb.
