The space Casa Los Caraos Playa Carrillo is one of the most laid-back and clean beaches in all of Costa Rica and you're about to experience this and so much more at this family-friendly, ground-floor retreat! Here you'll enjoy plenty of space to move around freely and a huge enclosed yard with outdoor dining areas, a private outdoor pool, and a covered seating area, perfect for chill gatherings with your family or friends. There's even a hammock for midday naps. Inside, this home offers an open layout where the kitchen meets the dining area and the living room. The living room will be ideal for a relaxing afternoon indoors as it features two comfortable sofas and three chairs near a large, wall-mounted flatscreen TV with cable. The kitchen comes equipped with all the basics and stainless steel appliances to make cooking a breeze. A coffee maker will be everyone's best friend, especially in the mornings, and the microwave will heat up leftovers in the blink of an eye. The indoor dining table seats six, but there's always the option to dine al fresco at one of the two dining tables outside. All three bedrooms have ceiling fans and flatscreen TVs with cable. The three full bathrooms are ensuite and boast walk-in showers. What's nearby: Puerto Carrillo is only two and a half kilometers away (one and a half miles) and there you'll find plenty of dining options including Hula Jungla Pizzeria, Soda La Plaza, Los Delfines, and Restaurant Francais Chez Nous. If you need to stock up groceries and goodies, Super Carrillo is a great option. Playa Carrillo is near downtown and is a great beach to visit if you don't like crowds. It's also ideal for fun water activities. You can swim in the warm waters of the North Pacific or snorkel and explore beautiful coral reefs. Take a tour or go out on your own for sport-fishing, jet skiing, water skiing, and kayaking. Vacasa was terrible to deal with luckily the owners number was listed and he was extremely accommodating the house was great and super clean I will contact him directly next time

A pesar que llovió mucho! La pasamos súper, la casa es espaciosa y acogedora con muchas amenidades lo que hizo que pasáramos un tiempo de descanso merecido que buscábamos. La playa está cerca, el super y restaurantes también. Recomendado!

Es una zona bellísima, no tan explotada turísticamente lo que la hace muy tranquila, poco concurrida, nada contaminada por lo que es perfecto si quieren playas para descansar. La casa es espectacular, una decoración preciosa y perfectamente equipada (nada nos hizo falta). Don Jorge, el dueño de la casa, es sumamente atento y cordial, además de que está disponible para cualquier situación que se presente. Realmente uno de los lugares más bellos en los que hemos estado.

Great location, included amenities were good. The kitchen was well stocked, nice pool, clean bathrooms. The Monkeys eating and napping on the Trees in the yard was amazing!!!! The host was very responsive and helpful.

Stay was excelleng! Lovely home.. pool/jacuzzi was awesome. Kids had a great time! Ameneties were however limited or old. Kitchen utensils were very old. Toilet paper shortages required waiting for owner to replace them. Washing machine/dryer was too old and took a long time! No bread toasters. One of the chairs was broken so cldnt lean on more. On the good side, lots of plates, cups and crockery! Location was great.. just mins from Playa Carillo and Samara. Would refer again to friends and would request owner to look into changing or updating appliances and ameneties.

estuvimos hace unos días de vacaciones familiares, la casa nos pareció súper linda, contaba con todas las amenidades necesarias para sentirse casa, espacios cómodos, habitaciones y baños muy limpios, la cocina súper bien equipada, tienen de todo y más ( licuadora, batidora, olla multiusos, etc). Los espacios al aire libre súper cómodos y con amplio espacio, el anfitrión súper amable y atento, lo recomiendo 100%.

A beautiful, comfortable, large home! Very clean, well appointed kitchen (with all the cooking supplies you could ever need as well as a full sized fridge). There is hot water in the showers but not in the kitchen sink (just an fyi). The outdoor area is amazing and totally private and there are an abundant amount of linens. Having a washer/dryer was super helpful (I would recommend having directions on how to use these appliances as it's a bit different than in the US). If you are curious, the pool gets a little deeper in the middle and there is bench seating on both of the longer sides of the small pool (it's not a hot tub). We heard howler monkeys when sitting outside in the morning and saw beautiful birds around the property. Jorge was quick to respond to any needs. You are about a 5-8 min. drive to Carrillo Beach from this property. It was very relaxing here and easily fit our family of 10!

Nice tucked away spot, just a few minutes drive from the beach. Great outdoor space, perfect for hanging out with travel companions. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Looks just like the pictures.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home that reminded us of being in Florida with all the decor and comforts of furnishings more U.S. style. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms so conducive to sleep with A/C, fans and darkening curtains. The living area was super cozy on and there was a fully stocked kitchen. I can’t say enough about the outside- great little pool, beautiful gardens, lots of seating and hammocks. All in all a wonderful stay and the beach is a quick 5 min drive. Communication w/ management was A+
