This home is extremely beautiful on the outside. There is an eight minute dirt trail before getting to the home so definitely have a 4 x 4 vehicle entering the home was pretty easy, but once inside we noticed stains on the furniture, and pillows on the couch. There were dead bugs in the sink and lizard poop scattered throughout the home. The glass walls make it easy for critters to enter the home and around 6:30 7 o’clock we noticed that the lizards would start to come in. One night we had about five lizards in the home. Moths are another big issue at night and sometimes during the day you will get a few bugs that slipped through the cracks of the walls. The extra linens in one of the closets did not smell clean. It smelled of mildew and urine. The refrigerator was leaking and not getting cold enough, but once I communicated that to the owner, it was fixed very quickly. But overall, the house was nice. Just aware of bug bugs being in the home 24/7 because of the location.

The house itself was absolutely beautiful. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows everywhere made it feel like you were truly bringing the outdoors inside, which was such a unique and relaxing experience surrounded by nature. That said, there were a couple things future guests should know. Because the glass/windows didn’t seem to be sealed properly, every night the living room and kitchen area would fill with hundreds of bugs. I understand this is Costa Rica and bugs are expected, but we’ve stayed in several other places there and never experienced it to this extent. There were also quite a few lizards getting inside the house regularly, which made things feel a little less comfortable and clean. Another important note is the road leading to the Airbnb — it is extremely steep and definitely requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle. I would also highly recommend arriving during daylight hours, as the drive could be pretty intimidating at night. Overall, the home was nice and very unique

Amazing home perched high above the sea. Road getting in was steep and muddy after rain— you need 4x4 and an suv with more suspension would have been nice. Road is too steep to walk right from the house.

Wir hatten einen rundum wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Airbnb. Die Unterkunft war bei unserer Ankunft makellos sauber und hat sofort einen sehr einladenden Eindruck gemacht. Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir uns jederzeit wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das das Management bzw. die Vermieter, bei kleineren Anliegen oder Problemen umgehend reagiert hat und es wurde sich schnell und zuverlässig darum gekümmert. Die Kommunikation war stets proaktiv, freundlich und lösungsorientiert. Man hatte immer das Gefühl, dass auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen wird und Kompromisse möglich sind. Ein absolutes Highlight ist jedoch die atemberaubende Aussicht und die einzigartige Naturkulisse, einfach unbeschreiblich schön und definitiv etwas ganz Besonderes. Insgesamt war es ein unglaublich schöner Aufenthalt, den wir in bester Erinnerung behalten werden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Our recent stay at the villa was absolutely exceptional. A truly five star experience from the beginning to the end. The property was stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views that made every moment feel like a dream. The house was beautifully designed , very comfortable with every detail throughout fully considered. The location was perfect, very peaceful and relaxing yet close enough to explore the natural beauty of Costa Rica as well as the amenities.. restaurants and grocery stores. We left feeling refreshed, happy and already planning our return. We highly recommend the villa. Thank you !

Perfect place for our friends trip. Clean, modern & comfortable! We used the pool and watched the stars one night and caught a meteor shower. It was magical! We saw toucans, monkeys and lizards. We hired the private chef from the welcome book- worth every penny! Magical memories! Hope to stay there again!

A STUNNING home. Loved the design, well done. Absolutely gorgeous sunset/sea view. Concierge team was great- very understanding, helpful and responsive. We were happy with the chef services they recommended as well as the surf school at Dominicalcito. Pool is wonderful, home is spacious and beautiful, and private. There is construction still going on next door but it is out of the host's hands of course and they were gracious about the inconvenience. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and HIGHLY recommend. Large supermarket near by (10min) that has everything. Lots of fruit stands near by. Loved Domincalcito and Hermosa beach. Their restaurant recommendations were great. LOVED our stay.

All I can say is WOW!!! This place was truly a gem! The sunsets are absolutely beautiful and breathtaking! The house was clean, the host were very responsive and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend this house! Just like many of the previous guest, a 4x4 is a must if you plan to drive or venture out. Bugs and small lizards do find their way inside so be prepared and mindful. From our experience, they were harmless. House was fully equipped with everything we needed.
