The Space
This spacious 2,700 square foot condo is a luxurious single-floor residence located in Playacar, the most exclusive neighborhood of Playa del Carmen. Just a few steps away from the famous 5th Avenue, Mara Residence is one of the newest and most upscale condominium buildings in the city.
The condo features an open-concept layout with a large entrance door leading into a bright and airy living room, dining area, and fully equipped modern kitchen. The kitchen includes the latest appliances and a large quartz countertop, perfect for preparing home-cooked meals.
An expansive terrace runs along the entire living area and extends into the main bedroom. Floor-to-ceiling balcony doors can be fully opened, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors from inside the suite, which boasts 10-foot-high ceilings.
The main bedroom offers a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, an en-suite bathroom designed for two, and direct access to the patio. The second bedroom, located down the hallway and separate from the main bedroom, also has a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, an en-suite bathroom, and large windows overlooking the lush greenery of a bird sanctuary. The third bedroom, further down the hallway, contains two queen-size beds, a walk-in closet, and a spacious en-suite bathroom.

We stayed in play del Carmen 4 days and 3 night and I have nothing but good things to say. Dan was very responsive and accommodating. Place was beautiful organized and clean. We loved how secure the area was and that it was near a lot of shops and restaurants. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend and come back

Highly recommend this place, very walkable to downtown Playa Del Carmen for food/activites. Short walk to the beach, the gated community itself was great and offered a sense of security.

Mariana and Dan were absolutely amazing—I’d easily give them 6 out of 5 if I could. From the start, they were always available, responding quickly and clearly to every question and concern, which made the whole process much less stressful than I expected. Even when we faced a major issue, they stayed calm, patient, and supportive, guiding us through every step until everything was resolved. What stood out most was how friendly and approachable they were—it felt like talking to real people who genuinely cared. Mariana was especially incredible, answering messages almost instantly, which gave me great peace of mind. Their kindness and support truly made a huge difference. Thank you so much, Mariana and Dan!

The place is just as described, very nice and clean. Dan & Mariana were very responsive, making sure we had what we needed and were super flexible with checking in and out. 5/5 stars, I would absolutely book again!

This condo was exactly as listed and described. We were traveling as a family with 2 older teenage kids. We had plenty of room and the kids commented on having the “biggest bathrooms and closets” of anywhere we have ever stayed. We enjoyed the patio as well as the common living areas. The tv room was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. The rooftop pool was exceptionally nice. The area is very private and we felt very safe. There is a nice 3.6 mile loop for walking/running. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to 5th Avenue and all the shops and restaurants. We found groceries nearby as well to stock the kitchen. The beaches are a bit more difficult to figure out (since most of Playacar has all inclusive resorts you can’t just walk on to the beaches throughout Playacar). There is access near the main gate and if you walk the roads beyond the ruins there are several really nice small and private beaches. Would be difficult for elderly or small kids. However, this place is a GEM ♥
