Ocean View Oasis by Bodhi Tree

Kendra’s property was everything we imagined and more—beautiful inside and out, very private compared to other rentals we’ve stayed in the area, and easy to get to. We felt safe, the kids loved the pool, the entire house was stunning, and the rooftop view of the ocean was breathtaking. Kendra was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It was peaceful, spacious, and perfect—we only wish we had more time there. We’ll definitely be back!

The chalet was very beautiful. It has been refinished and the decor and furnishings were spot on. We did have a few issues that needed to be resolved, but Kendra and her team were very responsive and addressed all our concerns. The house is very large. It is an older home. We felt this added to its charm. It’s also in the jungle, so you have bugs around. But… you’re in the jungle. It’s to be expected. Upstairs bathrooms could use window coverings for privacy, but were beautiful. You have a view of the beach and we enjoyed the Bodhi yoga retreat center with some community classes. The beach was also fun and we did surf lessons. We would consider staying here again, mainly because the host was such a good host. That’s important. There were howler monkeys, coati & beautiful birds. We enjoyed sitting outside, viewing nature. It’s in a very safe area. Driveway is steep. We had an SUV, so no problem. Kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, very good experience & I’d recommend it!!!

Kendra was a wonderful and responsive host, and the home was perfect for our group. So well located and a beautiful property. It’s an older Nosara home, but they just don’t make them like this anymore! Any issues were addressed promptly. Love it here!

Amazing stay in the jungle !!! Best sunset views from the roof top patio. Big open private space! Lots of room to relax by the pool, and listen to the Howler Monkeys, watch the lizards, and take in the jungle! Quick ride to the beach on a golf cart and many amazing restaurants close by. Us 5 loved this spot in Nosara!! It definitely has some bug friends indoors but that did not take away from the whole ambience.The cleaning twice a week was icing on the cake!!!

We had an amazing stay at Kendra’s place in Nosara. The house had amazing views of the beach, a lot of natural light, space and great amenities. Kendra was a super host! She was very responsive, helpful and nice to talk to. Thanks for making our stay seamless!

I gave Kendra’s house 5 stars because we enjoyed the pool, privacy, and views so much. If you are looking for a place that you can spend all day at, this is it. While we occasionally walked to bakers beach, we found it to be just far away enough that we’d normally drive. We were happy that we could see the ocean over the trees from the house. There was a small issue with a non working coffee machine and ants when we arrived. Kendra and her team addressed it immediately for us and we did not miss a beat. Note that this house is vintage and embodies a Pura Vida lifestyle. It is suitable for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool at night. Kendra provided great direction and was very responsive. I’d definitely go back!

The photos don’t really do the house justice; it’s an elegant building with grand spaces, a dramatic view of the ocean and enfolded in jungle greenery. The access to Bodhi Tree spa was a huge plus for us, the lively town of Guiones was only 5 minutes away by car, and the beach only ten minutes on foot. The staff was fantastically friendly and responsive. We had three wonderful weeks, and are planning to come back next year.
