Mariela and Kevin were great, responsive hosts! There was a delicious fresh pineapple waiting for us, and the kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, and other essentials. Beautiful craftsman hardwood furniture, and a lovely covered porch, great for being outdoors but dry in the rain. It's in a peaceful country neighborhood a little out of town, but fine if you have a car, and close to some of the fun adventure activity spots. We would definitely recommend it!

Mariela and Kevin’s place was the perfect stay during our time in Monteverde. It was in the center of where we needed to go and had everything we needed for our stay. We really appreciate the guide to help us navigate Monteverde and made the trip less stressful with their suggestion. Communication was top notch and Kevin even greeted us when we first checked in. We would definitely stay here again with our kids.

Amazing view (could see the Gulf of Nicoya from the house!). VERY peaceful area and right next to the Avancarí Nature Reserve. LOTS of local recs from Mariela and everyone felt the beds were very comfortable. Close to many local attractions and very kind hosts (laundry option was a bonus!). Many thanks to Mariela and Kevin!
