La propiedad es tal cual se muestra en las fotos: amplia, muy bonita y con unas vistas espectaculares. El acceso a la casa requiere un vehículo 4x4, ya que el camino es bastante desafiante, pero sin duda vale totalmente la pena. ¡Una experiencia increíble en un lugar único!

This was our 3rd stay at the house and the view still takes our breath away. We love relaxing around the pool and having evening BBQs. There's air conditioning in the bedrooms, all worked well. Washing machine and tumble dryer, but unfortunately no dishwasher. Be sure to keep on top of it otherwise the Ants will come to have a snack. The house is huge and has many indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as 3 sun loungers. The single track road up to the house definitely requires a proper 4x4. We learnt this the hard way on our first visit using an SUV and have used a 4x4 since for our 2nd and 3rd visit. The road condition has got harder this last visit. I agree with other reviews that parts of the house are looking tired. But these are forgiven due to the amazing pool and view. Simon is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We had a power cut one night and he was quick to rectify it when I contacted him in the morning.

Un lugar paradisíaco. Los amaneceres son espectaculares. Todos los espacios de la casa está muy limpios y listos para usar. Para repetir en nuestra próxima visita a la zona. Muy amigable si se viaja con niños pequeños.

First off, the reviews are correct, the road is no joke. It's a 2 mile climb on a road that was probably built in the 1980's and hasn't seen much maintenance since. It's a bone jarring 10 minute ride. Get a 4x4! Once you get there you realize it's so worth it! The view of the bay and the pacific ocean is amazing!! The pool is perfect for cooling off. Probably not ideal for small children as it's 5 feet deep with no shallow end. The outside veranda is large and relaxing! Howler monkeys paid us a vist 1 night at dusk! The house could use some updates, but the rooms upstairs are spacious with full baths, and comfortable beds throughout! We were there 12 days and the power went out twice. Both times the power was restored within a couple hours after Simon was informed. Alfredo was there every weekday morning, and was very helpful. The serenity, privacy and beauty of this place is something our family will always treasure! Man, what a view! Our thanks to Simon and Alfredo!

You won't beat the view. We enjoyed the pool and the incredible privacy. This is a great place if you want peace, quiet, and don't mind being in a remote location. The road up can be intimidating but it's really not that bad. It is about a ten minute drive up and down the mountain, but usually not much traffic. It is true that the house needs maintenance, but that doesn't affect the enjoyment. Increased maintenance would help it last for many more years. Simon was very responsive to all my inquiries. He even taught me how to make coffee the Costa Rican way. No regrets at all with our choice. It was a very enjoyed vacation, watching the sunrise from bed each morning.
