We had a fantastic stay! The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It looked exactly like the photos, and the amenities provided made us feel right at home. It also featured a beautiful garden that was beautifully kept making it a wonderful place to relax. The location was ideal, offering a quiet and safe environment while remaining incredibly convenient to local attractions and dining. A special thank you to the host for the wonderful communication, and to the house caretaker, Don Miguel. Don Miguel was absolutely outstanding—incredibly warm, helpful, and attentive to ensuring everything was perfect during our stay. Check-in was an absolute breeze, and we felt well taken care of from start to finish. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this property!

The property is in a beautiful location with breathtaking views. We were a very large group and this property was very accommodating.  I would recommend it and return.

A very nice and cozy place. It complies with everything described, and the photos do justice to what it really is. There is no A/C in the rooms, however, it is not necessary due to the climate in the area. The staff who take care of the property is very friendly and helpful. A perfect place for large groups, with rooms and everything equipped for a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommended.

Lugar muy bonito y acogedor, cumple con todo lo descrito y las fotografías hacen justicia a lo que es en realidad. No tiene A/C en habitaciones, sin embargo, no es necesario por el clima de la zona. El personal que cuida la propiedad es muy amable y servicial. Perfecto lugar para grupos grandes con habitaciones y todo equipado para pasar una estadía muy agradable. Sin duda recomendado.

My family and I enjoyed staying at Rodrigo’s place. It is a great place!!

We had an overall good stay, although the place fell short of our expectations, given its presentation. The layout of the place was definitely inconvenient, such as the steep stairs you had to walk to get to the kitchen and pool area. There were also some maintenance/upkeep issues that were a nuisance. Most bathroom sinks had weak water pressure and annoying to operate. Nataly was helpful when assistance was asked of her. Despite the beautiful view, I would consider other places to stay if I was to return to Lago de Coatepeque.

The place is just like the photos, spacious… clean. Quite quiet, yet close to Ataco and Apaneca. Don Miguel is at the house, which makes the place even more special, because of the attention and care he gives everyone. Thank you very much; we had a wonderful time with friends and family.

El lugar es igual que las fotos, amplio…limpio. Bastante tranquilo al mismo tiempo que esta cerca de Ataco y Apaneca. En la casa esta Don Miguel que hace del lugar aun mas especial, por la atencion y cuidado que tiene con todos. Muchas Gracias, pasamos un muy bon momentos entre amigos y familia.

Excellent stay. The property has hot water and is a very large and cozy house. We want to highlight the tremendous service of Don Miguel, who is in charge of the property. To communicate with him, it is important to do so by phone, as this facilitates the coordination of check-in. Rodrigo was always very attentive and ready to help us establish that link with Don Miguel, achieving a check-in and an entrance without any inconvenience. The house does not have air conditioning, but it is really not necessary, since the weather is quite cool, even cold at night. It was a very nice experience and we definitely recommend it.

Excelente estadía. La propiedad cuenta con agua caliente y es una casa muy grande y acogedora. Queremos destacar el tremendo servicio de Don Miguel, quien es el encargado de la propiedad. Para comunicarse con él es importante hacerlo por llamada, ya que así se facilita la coordinación del check-in. Rodrigo estuvo siempre muy atento y pendiente para ayudarnos a establecer ese enlace con Don Miguel, logrando un check-in y una entrada sin ningún inconveniente. La casa no tiene aire acondicionado, pero realmente no hace falta, ya que el clima es bastante fresco, incluso frío en las noches. Fue una experiencia muy bonita y definitivamente la recomendamos.

Beautiful and cozy mountain house. We loved our stay: the place is very beautiful, clean, and peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and has lovely views. The host was very kind and attentive at all times. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

Beautiful spaceous house. The rooms were clean and could accommodate our party of 19. The hot water had a 'trick' to start in the shower (you have to open it slowly) and then it will warm up. Overall fantastic stay :)

Casa Esmeralda is a beautiful home nestled in the mountain valley. The caretakers, Don Miguel and Doña Teresa were very helpful, courteous and take great care of the property. Rodrigo made sure we were well taken care of. My family had enough space for the kids to run around and plenty of sleeping beds and bathrooms. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone with big families. Ataco/ Apaneca are great places to visit. We ate at Entre Nubes and took the kids to the famous Cafe Albania for their thrilling adventure park. Both places were very close to the house. Hope to one day come back again. Definitivamente recomiendo esta hermosa casa que está bien ciudad y situada en un lugar maravilloso. Espero regresar un día.

Cabin was to my satisfaction, clean and surrounded by nature.

Beautiful view and we had plenty of space for everyone in our group to get their own bed. Rooms were very spacious and there was enough silverware and plates for everyone. Please be mindful there are steps everywhere. To get into the house, to get into the dining room, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the bedrooms, etc. Miguel and Teresa were amazing and were always available for questions and had great recommendations for us for food, grocery shopping, etc. always felt safe and secure on the property.

The house is beautiful, large gardens, the host is very friendly and the people in charge of the place are also very friendly, the house in general is very comfortable and spacious. There are no towels or thin sheets 2 toilets have defective movable seats, a window in a downstairs room does not close well. but I do recommend this airbnb

Beautiful place, very very spacious. Enough room for your whole family. We went January, which was really cold, so make sure you take a warm sweater. The place could benefit with some warmer blankets. Also make sure to take towels.
