Villa Descanso @ West Bay / Luxury Villas!

Beautiful house! It was great for our big group! The kids enjoyed it and it had beautiful views. The walk down to the beach is about 10 minutes but the steep heel up might be too much for older people.

Our stay was incredible, even before check in our host answered every question we had, checked in periodically, and accommodated to all my family’s last minute requests with kindness and reason. The villas were equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING we could need like we were not missing a thing. The space is gorgeous, organized, spacious, and AC in every single room!! It’s peaceful, a gorgeous view, so safe, and close to a lot of things. This has genuinely been my favorite stay at an airbnb. We are very thankful for such a smooth stay and should we come again we will definitely look here first!

These houses were perfect for our two families totaling 14 people. We were super happy with the beautiful surroundings, comfortable beds, large gathering spaces, etc. This is an extremely hilly area, so be aware that you will have to walk up and down very steep hills or get a driver at all times. We got quite the work out! We took lots of hikes around the beautiful neighborhood and met kind people. This is an area with a lot of people from the United States at it. Not too far from this neighborhood is the local area that has a cute coffee shop, convenient store, fruit, and vegetable store, and if you walk down an alleyway that is currently under construction, you can get to the Totally Taco restaurant and even further you come to a courtyard area with shops and places to eat as well. It continues on the beach if you keep on going down the alleyway. So many people sell their services and goods on the beach. Hard to relax. Snorkling was amazing right off the beach. Have fun!!

We celebrated my dads 70th birthday here and could not have enjoyed it more! Beautiful home in great area. 10 minute walk to the beach - but as others mentioned, there is a steep incline/hill. Most entered the beach at the Grand Roatan Resort - we had more family members staying there. Easy walk down, workout coming up. Every question we had was answered promptly. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Our group had 13 people and everyone had plenty of room to enjoy. We used the grill twice and loved to dine outside under the stars. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a group of 13 people, including teenagers. We found the separation of different spaces Very nice for a large group. We used the concierge for transportation to and from airport, which we recommend. They stopped at the grocery store and allowed us to get supplies before going to the Airbnb. The property is up the hill from restaurants and hotels, but it is a steep hill traverse so if you have issues walking, it won’t be easy to get up and down without car transportation. We also hired a private cook to make meals on the property, which was nice for a big group and because restaurants are still a bit of a walk away from the property. We had a great week and the property is excellent.

My family and I had a great time @Villa Descanso , the host was very responsive and the house was squeaky clean and beutiful. Location was excellent walkable to the beach and many restaurants. I highly recommend it !

This was an amazing property. The pool is fantastic the proximity to the beach is a nice walk away I will book here again my family needs to experience this home away from home. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene
