In our exceptional, peaceful, inspiring and very safe environment, you will be able to "really" relax and enjoy your vacation without any problems. We are located in the middle of nature, but with "easy access" and very close to civilization and some of Nicaragua's most popular tourist activities. (Hiking, volcano climbing, horseback riding, bathing in the laguna river...). THE PROPERTY This listing is for our modern Villa Marnie (45 m2). Knowing that you benefit from the entire villa and its surroundings. The villa comfortably accommodates 2 people, 1 bedroom, living room and has a fully equipped kitchen, oven and gas hob, coffee maker, toaster, large fridge, dining table, TV and OPTICAL FIBRE HIGH SPEED WIFI, up to 100 mbps (enough to stream video or make video calls), ideal for virtual workers. The bedroom has a double bed and in addition to the window, has a large open glass window with panoramic view. The bathroom has a large shower and hot water on demand. There is at your disposal a fan, with remote control in addition to the air conditioning in the main room. THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE FINCA You can enjoy beautiful summer days relaxing in one of our hammocks (in the pool area/around the casita) or a refreshing swim in our large enclosed pool. Quite often, there is a refreshing breeze around the property where you can enjoy bird and squirrel watching, maybe see the odd iguana or catch a distant howl from the howler monkeys. You will enjoy the enchanting bird calls from sunrise to sunset. The farm is a moderate working farm and some staff are on site each day to maintain the land and crops during the morning (Monday through Friday), with no intrusion to your privacy. Our two dogs (Tessa and Karla) are free to roam the farm but are well trained, they do not enter the pool area, nor your property. Depending on the time of year of your stay, you will be lucky enough to be able to eat bananas, mangos, guavas, plantains, avocados, coconuts, corn, etc. from the land. Villa Marnie is one of three villas on the farm, but rest assured that you will have ample privacy. It is located approximately 100 meters from the other villas. WHERE YOU WILL BE Diriomo (Verde Guapinol), Department of Granada, Nicaragua We are located in the middle of nature, but with "easy access" and very close to civilization and some of Nicaragua's quintessential tourist activities. Here you can experience the real Nicaraguan life surrounded by charming villages, birds, monkeys, butterflies in a very safe and rural environment. Finca Madinina is 5 minutes from the town of Diriomo where there is a Pali supermarket, pharmacies, doctor, dentist, butchers and fruit and vegetable stores. A plethora of local restaurants or 'Comedores' to choose from serving local beer and local food. You are 10 minutes from the Diría lookout point, so named for its incredible view over the Laguna de Apoyo. From here there is free access and a beautiful walk to the Laguna de Apoyo for a swim. You will be 20 minutes from the larger town of Grenada and 20 minutes in the other direction is the stunning horticultural town of Catarina with another access road to the Laguna de Apoyo. There are many fun activities in the area from horseback riding near Catarina and down to the lagoon, volcano climbing, hiking the Mombacho Volcano, visiting the Masaya Volcano and seeing the molten lava, Aguas Agrias, Granada, Isletas de Granada, Masaya. HOW TO GET AROUND The property is accessible for all vehicles, including by bicycle and on foot from the main road. If you have a car there is parking right outside your villa, but it is NOT necessary to have a car to enjoy your time here. There is very cheap public transportation or private cab (you will find a list of motorcycle cabs, one speaks fluent English, in your host's guide, they will come and pick you up at your doorstep). Guest access You can drive your own car, or take the very cheap public transportation or private taxi. A private moto taxi comes in the property to fetch you. Working with our partner (car rental), we can provide you a decent vehicle at a reasonable price, defying the local market price
