The property spans 4,387 square feet of private space and includes all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Please note that a 4x4 vehicle is required to access the villa, as the journey itself is part of the adventure.
Nestled in the prestigious Escaleras community, one of the most desirable locations in Costa Rica’s Southern Zone, Odyssey balances privacy, convenience, and natural beauty.
Located just 15 minutes from the Costanera Highway and nearby beaches, and only 10 minutes from the renowned Nauyaca Waterfall, guests have easy access to both relaxation and adventure.
The villa’s design merges raw industrial elements with luxurious finishes, creating a bold yet inviting atmosphere. The double-height great room features warm wood details, granite countertops, large-format tiles, and natural stone, wood, and bamboo inlays that bring the jungle indoors.
Expansive windows fill the interior with natural light and provide panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery. A striking catwalk connects the main bedroom to the upper terrace, offering a dramatic entrance or a peaceful spot above the treetops.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private pool, several terraces, and verdant outdoor areas perfect for lounging, dining, and immersing in the sights and sounds of nature.
The property includes covered parking for up to four vehicles.
Guest Access
- A 4x4 vehicle is mandatory for property access.
- A team member will personally welcome guests, provide check-in assistance, and share recommendations to ensure a great stay.
Important Information
- Odyssey is an adults-only villa.
- The property is monitored by exterior cameras and a security guard.
- Due to the tropical environment, occasional encounters with insects, lizards, rodents, and reptiles may occur despite strict pest control measures. These encounters are part of the natural setting and do not violate rental policies.
- Pool maintenance requires access to the house on scheduled days.
- Power outages may happen occasionally due to weather-related events such as falling branches.
- The water supply comes from nearby springs and may experience occasional interruptions. Guests are asked to consider these factors as part of the rural experience.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful mountain property. The views were absolutely breathtaking and the surroundings were so peaceful and relaxing. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved waking up to the stunning scenery and being surrounded by nature. It felt like the perfect escape while still being within reach of local attractions. The host was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway in Costa Rica

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Roberto was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was excellent and we especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout the stay. Our family made great memories here and we would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

We had the most incredible stay at this villa—truly a slice of paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were completely in awe of the breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, and how beautifully everything was designed. This Airbnb was absolutely incredible — we couldn’t get enough of the views. A 4x4 is definitely recommended for getting to the house. Our car was fully loaded with luggage on the first drive up, but taking it slow we had no issues at all. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you need. The kitchen had everything necessary for us to cook all our meals — from breakfast to dinner — and honestly, the space is so well set up you don’t even feel the need to leave. The beds were very comfortable, and the house stays surprisingly cool — we barely needed to use the AC even in the heat. The place was spotless when we arrived, and despite being surrounded by nature, we had no issues with bugs or anything inside the house. We spent a lot of time by the pool, and even at night the water temperature was perfect. The hosts were outstanding. Communication, support, and overall care made everything seamless —they truly felt like a one-stop shop for anything we needed. Thank you again!

First of all when we arrived, half the utilities weren’t even working. There are also cameras inside and outside all around the property. It was recording us which violates policies and laws. As for the glass, it was improperly installed as it was broken during showering and regular use. My friend was injured and bleeding from this poor installment so if anything we should be reimbursed for hospital fees. There were also bugs and ants all over the bedroom that kept us up all night. They also continued to send us to tourist traps and always tried to overcharge us. Recording guests is NOT OKAY AND ILLEGAL. I would like to request reimbursement on my end for illegally recording across the property indoor and outdoor, WiFi and utilities broken half the time and bug and ants infested in bedrooms.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home looks exactly as pictured, and the decor reflects it perfectly. Everything felt thoughtfully put together and true to the listing. Robert was extremely responsive, and his concierge team was outstanding, they assisted with bookings, answered questions quickly, and were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay, even made our stay special for our birthday celebration.
