We had a great stay! The place was exactly as described—very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything we needed was available, and the host made the experience smooth and easy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb. 30 mins from town, so just be aware of the drive!

My wife and I stayed at this property for 3 nights in June '26 and a fantastic stay. Check-in was smooth and the property is in a great location, just a few minutes past the main road heading to Secret Beach and a pretty easy 25-30min ride to the center of town. The unit itself was very comfortable and everything we needed for a short stay. We also booked a snorkeling excursion with Captain Thomas, who was recommended by Nellie as his boat is docked at the property. We had an incredible time on the excursion and would highly recommend booking with him if you're looking for snorkeling/fishing/etc. Overall, we had an amazing time here and would 1000% return. Only note is we did lose power briefly a few times (which is common to San Pedro), so not specific to this property but would recommend bringing mobile power banks on your trip to charge phones, etc.

The place was quiet, clean, and in a beautiful area. Note that it’s about 30 minutes from town — we weren’t aware of that at first and ended up driving back and forth since most of our activities were there.

I cannot say enough about this place!!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Nellie and her team make it beyond easy for you and meet you when you get to the island. The home is in a perfect location not too far from everything. We will be returning and we can’t wait!

Very nice place with beautiful ocean views. Lots of sargassum on the beach during the end of March but we knew to expect that in advance. Expect a bumpy ride in if you rent a golf cart (best way to get around here). Overall, I would recommend staying here

Great quiet place to stay north of San Pedro. Worth the drive and plenty of things close including a great restaurant just 50yards away.

Really enjoyed nellie’s casita! The room is actually bigger than pictured and the balcony really adds to the space. Very clean upon arrival and a broom was provided for sand that gets tracked into the property Didn’t see any bugs in the room itself which was great! there are a lot of lizards outside at night but as expected with a tropical location. The air bnb is about 30 mins away from the town and a lot closer( about 20-15 mins) to secret beach which was super convenient the ride into town isn’t bad at all and really gives you a chance to see the island. Both host are amazing and responsive they were able to help with a few issues we had like locking ourselves out, and switch arrival time really quickly and they truly want you to enjoy your trip. Will definitely be booking again, perfect for couples and my girlfriend really enjoyed her birthday here. ( they would definitely benefit from getting a tv in the room but not a complaint because the property itself is very entertaining)

Absolutely amazing experience. Will be back ASAP! From the minute we were picked up at San Pedro’s airport to dropping off the key, the host’s were kind, welcoming and knowledgeable! Highly recommend!

Nellie’s condo at Las Amapolas was perfect for my husband and I for the last few days of our vacation. The location right on the beach on is unbeatable and the property was very well maintained. The space was surprisingly well equipped even though the kitchenette was small. Very friendly and helpful team of hosts.
