About Plantara
Plantara is a two-story building featuring four fully equipped apartments managed by ALBA Property Management. The upper floor contains two identical one-bedroom apartments, while the ground floor has two matching studio apartments. Each unit has a private entrance, providing more privacy than a hotel, along with convenient amenities.
ALBA offers a range of services including rainforest tours, in-home massages, transportation, grocery shopping, and excursion planning to make your stay as relaxed and effortless as possible.

This is a hard review to write, as I had something bad occur at this location. Early on in my trip I came back to find a man in the apartment with intent to rob me. Luckily he must’ve just got in and nothing was missing. He was already making his escape through back slider when I came in. There were no signs of forced entry, so I unfortunately believe it was either staff that knew code or they leaked code. The day before this happened I also had an incident where a man almost walked in on me while I was changing. Heard the code being entered, and door unlocking. While I did yell out that someone was in the room, they still tried to enter. They would have if I didn’t run over and lock it. Told it was cleaning staff that were mistaken, but something about that was off. The stars I’m giving this review are for Alba management. They responded fast and got me somewhere safe and nice immediately. Don’t recommend this spot, but would rec one managed by them. Their customer service was great

Great little spot in Nosara with super-friendly, family-like service from the Alba Guest Services team. Proximity to beaches, a handy mini-mart, yoga spots and surfing made it ideal for my stay. Felt right at home and can’t wait to return.

Studio #0 is a gem! Prime location with trendy boutiques and restaurants, supermarket, beach is at your doorsteps and 12mins walk to the organic coffee through an amazing forest path :-)! As a solo traveller I felt very safe, it’s great for short and long stay and the AC is amazing for the night! Responsible host, prompt communication and I was also able to extend my stay, because I just loved it! The beauty of Nosara is unmatched, I will return! <3

I stayed here for 2 weeks while in town for work. I was happy with the location, the once a week cleaning for long term stays, and the comfortable bed and spacious bathroom.

This place has a really great location! It’s close to both beaches. There’s a trail just up the street that will take you to Pelada. Also the mini mart and plenty of places to eat are right there. The studio was just as described and the A/C was life saving for me because I was recovering from a stomach virus. The company was responsive and helpful! It did smell a little musty and mildewy as someone else had also mentioned.

Adorámos estes dias em Guiones, a casa tem uma óptima localização, muito perto da praia, não pegamos praticamente no carro, havia tudo ao pé, desde supermercado, cafés a restaurantes. Destaco a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff, alertaram-nos para a chegada das tartarugas, foram sempre incansáveis!!
