The Space
Casa Mandala is a charming rental home located in the heart of Tulum's beach hotel area. Nestled slightly back from the shoreline within the tropical gardens and palm trees of the Mahayana beachfront property, the house offers a peaceful retreat. Although set back from the sea, guests have exclusive access to a private shaded palapa and lounge chairs right on the beach.
The villa features a clean, modern design that seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor living. A wall of glass doors on the main floor opens to a patio with a private pool. Just steps away lies one of the world's most beautiful white sand beaches, with reserved beach space exclusively for guests.
Casa Mandala spans three levels:

Ground floor: Living area and kitchen with a large dining table and a simple yet elegant kitchen for meal preparation and beverage storage. Comfortable seating is available both indoors and outdoors, ideal for relaxing with your group.

Second floor: Two bedrooms each with separate sliding glass entrances from outside. One bedroom contains a queen bed, while the other has a queen bed plus a single bed. The bathroom on this floor is shared but accessible separately from each bedroom.

Third floor: The master suite features 360-degree windows overlooking the treetops. It includes a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The master bedroom offers a unique experience, reminiscent of sleeping in a spacious treehouse.
All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and fans for added comfort.

Casa Mandala is situated at kilometer 8 along Tulum’s beach, near popular spots such as La Zebra, Atila, Arca, and Heartwood. Close to all restaurants, shops. The beach is only a few meters in front of the property. Peaceful and serene.

Great location. Amazing service. Full cleaning each morning. Right on the beach. Fully functional A/C. Great option for long or short term stay. I’d stay here again if back in Tulum.

I can't recommend the Mahayana enough! You can't beat the location--peaceful, private beach, close to my favorite restaurant Hartwood ,and South Tulum--and the private taco stand onsite was fantastic. The staff were helpful and kind and the property manager was responsive and communicative. The home and rooms were beautiful and well-appointed. If a relaxing Tulum vacation is what you're after, this is the place for you.

We had an unbelievable stay. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We traveled with our parents and two young children and it was perfect for our group of 6. We enjoyed the “taco shack” on the property and ate breakfast there on the beach every morning. The location is perfect, as it’s walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Snow and her team were very attentive. We would absolutely stay here again and plan to in the future!

We loved our visit! If I were to go back to Tulum, we’d definitely rent again though probably the front house on the beach over the house closer to the road. We had chosen this one because it had a private pool but the ocean is gorgeous and warm and the pool was cooler and always shaded and not all that private. The location of all the houses is fantastic for beach and all restaurants, coffee, etc. we loved it!

We had the best time at this villa in Tulum! It's right on a beautiful, quite and peaceful beach, but also super close to great coffee shops and restaurants. The place is relaxed, we’ll equipped, and feels natural – a real chill vibe. The staff were super kind and always there to help, and Guy, the owner, was awesome – friendly and helpful. It was great for the kids too. They had a blast with the boogie boards and sand toys. We loved it here. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing space, the home the shared areas on the beach all better than expected. Staff was amazing, daily x Cleaning, recommended tours place s to eat.everything is so well crafted and taken care of, felt like someone’s amazing home Fish tacos and salsa verde very solid. Thanks all
