Modern Jungle Escape for 6

Jessica‘s place is the most stunning place I have ever been at. The house takes your breath away. And while the pictures are beautiful and very accurate, they can’t tell you how this place makes you feel. You wind down the second you hear the jungle, and nothing but the jungle. We were a group of 4, had plenty of space. Every piece of furniture, the silverware, the cabinets- everything is so well thought through, organized and high quality. They even provide electrolytes which come in handy after a long day of hiking waterfalls. For our entire stay, we were brainstorming how we can build that exact place for our own retirement;). Long story short- I am „Casa de Alma“ homesick already, and we just left earlier today. Don’t think twice, book it and you‘ll have the time of your life! Jessica, Mo, you are amazing people, keep up the great work and a BIG thank you!

Casa de Alma surpassed our expectations. We were looking for a modern house in a jungle setting. It had everything we wanted and more! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! The home is beautifully designed inside and out. We changed our plans as soon as we walked through the door. There are so many great restaurants in the area but we wanted to use the kitchen and grill so we could stay and enjoy the home. We used the pool every day and hung out on the porch listening to the animals. We saw monkeys, toucan, Macaws, parrots, coati, agouti and baby raccoons sleeping at the top of the trees. You don't need to leave the house so see wildlife, they will come to you! The hosts were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and checked on us throughout the stay. We did a tour to Nauyaca waterfall, an ATV tour, nature preserve, and whales tail. There is so much to do in the area. We are already planning another trip back and would love to stay at Casa de Alma again.

Stunning views with a beautifully designed home. An adventurous drive to the location with several fun activities within a short distance from the main road. It was a lot of fun for our family to relax at the house and to explore the surroundings.

Pictures did not do this home justice. It is even better in person. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home had everything that we needed. The setting was very peaceful, and with the pool, was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day exploring. We did see a pack of howler monkeys in the distance and heard them every morning. Toucans and parrots visited every day. We even made a friend with a neighborhood black dog that would stop by and hang out throughout the day. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to do including restaurants with awesome views. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to visit this area of Costa Rica. Séjour plus que parfait dans cette magnifique maison au cœur de la jungle. Tout est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Se réveiller avec les sons de la jungle était exactement ce dont nous rêvions pour notre voyage. Nous avons eu la chance incroyable de voir des singes hurleurs, des toucans et une multitude de magnifiques oiseaux. Une expérience magique que nous n’oublierons jamais!

Beautiful house, right in the forest, feels very private but is still very accessible to what Uvita has to offer. Very clean and enjoyable, great host, great visit!

We loved this spot!! We could not have asked for a better Airbnb. It is incredibly gorgeous, comfortable and so well equipped. It is so clean. The views are beautiful. It’s a very short drive to Uvita town and beaches. It’s a perfect stay. It has spoiled us for other airbnbs now!!

This place is amazing. I the middle of the rainforest. The place itself is a league of its own. We have honestly had the best of times staying at this gorgeous house, getting to know and enjoy the area.

This is an extraordinary site. Toucan's and howler monkeys were welcome guests every morning and evening. The house is exquisite, the pool luxurious,. And there is much to do in Uvita. But if you are looking for a quaint town or village where you can meander from shop to shop, this is not the place. The house is a five minute drive in a 4x4 up a typical Costa Rican rutted road. It is another five minutes into the town on pavement. The Whales Tale beach is an additional 5 minute drive. None of this diminishes the beauty of the natural settings.
