Our family had an amazing stay at Amanda’s beautiful villa in Santa Catarina Palopó. Amanda had very clear communication about the house and check in process , which we really appreciated. The home is surrounded by beautiful gardens that are immaculately kept up. There are plenty of stores very close by for drinks and snacks, and the waterfront, dock, and natural hot springs are also very close by. The house itself has beautiful, natural light and everything was spotlessly clean. The house was filled with beautiful local Guatemalan art and furniture, which was another nice touch. We loved relaxing at the pool and enjoying the peaceful environment by the lake . Juan, the caretaker, is an amazing human being who will go above and beyond to help you with anything that you need. This beautiful property definitely exceeded our expectations, and we would love to come back and stay there again someday!

A very cozy place! neat clean and organized, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and I highly appreciate that, we even had a gas grill! The pool and the jacuzzi were nice too. everything was within a walking distance, fresh fruits and veggies also just a few steps away in the local market. Juan and the other guy took care of all our needs, the main dock is close and it's a perfect spot to watch breath taking sunsets. The thermals from the lake are 5 minutes away. Looking forward to come again for a longer stay.

We loved this Airbnb. The gardens a were exquisite, the on site host Juan was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. The views were astounding and we met fun, interesting while staying here. Juan was helpful in arranging lanchas for visiting the other towns. The town is very calm with great eateries in Panajachel easily accessible by tuk tuk or public transport truck. We really enjoyed the calm respite.

Everything exceed expectations, perfect for our family of 4. Great communication any time we had questions and they even helped us arrange transportation; boats, taxis,  and tuks. Juan was extremely helpful with anything we needed. Amazing views from the pool and jacuzzi. Would recommend and stay there again.

Very nice place, it exceeded my expectations, the place is nice and the house is very nice and in very good condition, the staff is very friendly and helpful, Juan the manager took care of us very well and was attentive to what we needed, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely little house and enjoyed its serene and beautiful surroundings. Juan was friendly and helpful and quick to reply to any questions or requests we had. Would happily come back anytime!

Amazing place! Amanda was super flexible with the check in and even offered to let us drop off our stuff and enjoy the pool. This place has everything, it’s walkable, amazing pool and gorgeous view.

We love our stay at the villa. It’s gated and private with direct access to the lake behind the house. On clear days you can see the three volcanoes at the lake. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Very peaceful, you can hear birds singing. The interior is beautiful and cozy for the four of us. The house manager Juan is there during the day and took great care of us during our stay. We love that we are just a few steps from the center of the village with a church, market and few local shops. Santa Catalina Palopo is a charming, small, very local village. Just 10-15 mins tuk tuk ride away from Panajachel where you can catch public boat to visit other parts of the lake. We are glad we picked this place as our home base during our visit.

Excellent place to enjoy all the amenities, very clean. An incredible view of the lake. Everything is very perfect, as of excellent quality. I recommend it. It feels like home. All amenities are very comfortable.

Excelente lugar para descanzar todas las comodidades muy limpio una vista al lago increíble la atención todo muy perfecto como de excelente calidad lo recomiendo te sientes como en casa todas las amenidades son muy cómodas.

A very nice place, it is worth staying, but in my opinion for more than a day, since for all the things that are close I do not manage to take advantage of the pool and jacuzzi well and the delivery time was already close. It is worth staying, it is a very nice and quiet place.... a place to relax.

Un lugar muy bonito, vale la pena alojarse, pero a mi parecer por más de un día, ya que por todas las cosas que hay cerca no logre aprovechar bien la piscina y jacuzzi y ya estaba próximo el horario de entrega. Vale la pena alojarse, es un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo.... un lugar para relajarse.
