Overview
Start your mornings by watching birds and squirrels from your private balcony. This cozy studio is attached to our home, where we live downstairs, providing both privacy and a welcoming atmosphere.
The property is located:
- 5 minutes from the MaxiPali supermarket
- Approximately a 25-minute walk from the beach
With 20 square feet of space, the studio is simple yet comfortable. It is well suited to solo female travelers, digital nomads, or mature guests seeking an authentic pura vida experience in a peaceful and secure setting.
The Space
Located on the second floor of our home, the studio is accessed by a staircase. It has a private entrance and a cozy balcony where you can relax.
The layout includes:
- A compact kitchen and dining area near the entrance
- A comfortable bedroom at the far end of the studio
- A private bathroom
The kitchen is equipped for preparing light meals and includes:
- Small refrigerator
- Coffee maker
- Electric pan
- Microwave
- Essential cookware
The sleeping area features:
- Television
- Air conditioning
- Small closet
The private bathroom includes the necessities for a comfortable stay. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the studio, and secure parking is provided on the property.
Important Information
- The studio does not have hot water.
- Cats are present in the patio area.
House Rules
- Registered guests only: All guests must be registered with us before arrival.
- Property access: Lock the main door and gates whenever entering or leaving. Do not allow unknown individuals to access the property.
- No parties or loud music: Parties and loud music are not permitted. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- No smoking: Smoking and the use of illegal drugs are strictly prohibited inside the property.
- Check-in and check-out: Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Please inform us of your check-out time the day before departure.
- Garbage: Take the garbage to the disposal bin outside the gate every Sunday evening.
- Responsibility for damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Please treat the property with the same care as your own home.
- Pets: Pets are not allowed.
- Appliance use: Turn off and unplug kitchen appliances when they are not in use. Please also turn off the lights, air conditioning, and fans when leaving the property.
- Respect for the rules: We reserve the right to refuse admission or end a stay if these rules are not followed. This is our family property, so please treat it with care and respect.

Logement chaleureux et d'une propreté parfaite . Je me suis rapidement sentie chez moi. À 30 minutes à pied de la plage, 5 minutes à pieds de l'épicerie. Air conditionné et ventilateurs fonctionnels. Lit confortable. Douche sans eau chaude mais il fait tellement chaud que je prenais plaisir à prendre des douches froides. Caroline et sa mère sont très accueillantes toujours prêtes à répondre à mes questions ou à mes demandes. Je me sentais en sécurité.

We have been to Playas del Coco many times. Each time we have stayed in different accommodations. None of these had the owners on the property. Caroline and her mother were very helpful, courteous and kind. We felt very welcome in their peaceful oasis.

A great place to stay, was super close to the dive shop I was going to, close enough to walk to restaurants and the beach but not busy like the beach area is! Beautiful little garden outside that was nice to sit on balcony in the evenings

Carolina and her mom were so kind to me. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and accomodated. The space was comfortable and as described. I underestimated the 30 minutes walk to the beach in the 35C heat, so without a car it's a bit challenging of a location.

I had a great one month stay at Carolina's place. It was just as described. Lots of windows, a great hammock, and living high up by the tree tops all made it very special. If I had requests or needed directions or help of any kind, Carolina was always responsive. Groceries are only a 5 minute walk away, and you can either walk to the beach (25 -30 minutes), or take a local bus. The wifi worked great as I was doing a lot of work online. I had all the privacy or connection I needed. Very safe neighborhood too! Whether you stay for a few nights or a month, it might just be the perfect place to explore Playas del Coco and neighboring Playa Hermosa.

Carolina und seine Mutter waren sehr nett und haben immer gebracht was ich gebraucht habe. Es war in der Küche alles vorhanden, auch ein Küchen Trockentuch. Das fehlt bei den meisten. Leider war das Bett zu hart und ich habe Rückenschmerzen bekommen. Ansonsten war super , auch das ich mein Auto in den Hof reinfahren konnte.

They were next level nice. The room was better than I expected. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. I loved it. The air conditioning in the unit made it even more comfortable I didn’t need it every day but I was grateful to have it.
