Short walk to the beach

This is truly an amazing property. It is a very short walk to the beach. Along the roads it takes maybe 8 minutes, but there's a path across the street which cuts it down to ~5. The house is well stocked, with a complete kitchen, washer/dryer, beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. When we arrived it was very clean with those special touches that made it feel like we had arrived at a resort. The pool, though a little small, was very clean and a great place to cool off. My only major critique is that in the bedrooms, and actually around the entire house, there are these high up windows which do let in a lot of natural light, which is nice, but there is no way to cover them so in the bedrooms in the morning, starting around 5am, it began to get rather bright and was hard to sleep. I wish I had brought a sleep mask. In the end its an absolutely beautiful house and property, in a safe area, near an amazing beach. If I were in the area I would stay again.

This place was excellent. A great place to use as a base camp while in Playa Grande. A short walk to the beach. Everything was well stocked - kitchen items, boogie boards, ice chest, etc. Would stay here again!

We had such a great stay at Casa Manu! The home was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful throughout our stay. Traveling with a baby can be stressful, but they went above and beyond by providing a pack and play and even toys, which made such a difference for us. The space was family-friendly, relaxing, and had everything we needed. You can really tell the hosts care about creating a great experience for their guests. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Casa Manu to anyone, especially families traveling with little ones!

I like to pride myself of picking the best air bnb’s when I travel and this was one of the best stays I have experienced! The house and backyard are absolutely perfect and even better than the pictures. The ideal place to be when youre not out and about and need to relax. Playa Grande is a quiet town with a “local” feel, amazing food and even better views. Definitely recommend having a rental car despite everything being walkable distance. Maria was a great host and made our stay perfect in every way. Pura Vida!🤙🏽

We had a great stay at Casa Manzu in Playa Grande. The house is very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, spacious bathrooms, and a lovely pool and patio area. It’s also just a short walk to the beach, and the beach accessories made everything even easier. The location is excellent—we were close to Playa Conchal, Las Catalinas, and other beautiful nearby spots, which made it a great place to stay and explore the area. There are also delicious restaurants nearby. The hosts were very kind, attentive, and easy to communicate with. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Peaceful, comfortable, and very enjoyable—we would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Casa Manzu. As a family of four with two teenagers, it suited us perfectly in every way. The location truly couldn’t be better. It was just minutes to the beach, yet it felt so private and peaceful when in the backyard. The backyard was perfect. The lush plants, beautiful pool, and shaded lounging area made it the perfect place to relax during the hot afternoons, and it was equally lovely for quiet evenings at home. Inside, the home is stunning. The open design, gorgeous windows, and well-equipped kitchen made it feel both luxurious and comfortable. There was more than enough space for our family to spread out and relax. The walk-in showers were beautifully done, and the overall architecture of the house is truly impressive. We also really appreciated the added sense of security with the alarm system. Marie was a fantastic host. Super responsive and always helpful for anything we needed. We will certainly be back!

We loved our stay at casa manzu! The host was super responsive and incredibly attentive. My family was able to take our wagon with kids, boards and fins along the trail to the beach. A little bit of an off-roading for a wagon but completely doable. The pool was so fun and refreshing after a day at the beach. Casa manzu provided beach toys, boogie boards, towels and chairs, which was incredibly helpful for entertaining the kids at the beach. Restaurants are walkable and the locals are so friendly! I would recommend casa manzu to friends and family. I cannot wait to stay here again!
