Staying at Cherri's place was wonderful! We received detailed directions and recommendations in advance. We were welcomed by Prudy, Cherri's housekeeper, who prepared a delicious dinner for us on our first day of travel - per our request and at an extra charge. Prudy was one of the best surprises during our stay! She was there every day to clean and refresh items. Alberto was also wonderful and came by every morning. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. Cherri added lots of comforts that we appreciated: high speed internet, smart TV, blue tooth speakers, zoned AC, lots of ceiling fans, lots of bathrooms! We made good use of the kitchen. There is not a dishwasher. We spent most mornings having coffee by the pool. The grounds are beautiful and private. The pool isn't heated, so a bit chilly this time of year. The house is not directly on the beach, but you can get to it quickly. There are great restaurants that are walkable. We highly recommend Cherri's place and Akumal!

Unreservedly this was the finest rental property I have experienced.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Josefina. There were seven of us (5 adults, 2 kids) and it was out first time to Akumal. Cherri was responsive, the house is spacious and beautiful, and North Akumal is peaceful while still having several excellent restaurants. I highly recommend.

We’ve stayed in Alumal twice now and this is by far the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. We love the house and the location. We enjoyed everything about the place and would definitely book it again in a heartbeat. The staff at the home were excellent, and the communication from the host was superb.

We felt right at home! Our group included family from 80 yrs old to 2 yrs old. Cherri provided a crib and high chair for our youngest. Prudi, the housekeeper, patiently and positively kept the house in order around all of our commotion. Roberto quickly addressed an issue with the air conditioner as well. We had a great trip!!!

Cherri's place (Villa Josefina) is a true gem. We had the vacation of our lives with a private pool, space for adults traveling with 3 children (ages 9, 10, & 12), a magical cenote less than a block away (one of the best open cenotes I've even been to) with many many others a short drive away, an adorable town close by with beaches, dynamite restaurants, terrific shopping (including artisan crafts and markets), extraordinary wildlife everywhere, and endless areas to explore. Cherri was incredible to work with; meeting all of our needs effortlessly. The property staff was beyond helpful, friendly, and accommodating. This is a place we highly recommend if you are looking for an adventure beyond what any expectations could ever fabricate; the reality of our experience was truly more perfect than my silliest dreams.

This house is by far the best place we have ever stayed. It’s gorgeous, quiet, spacious, and clean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, the pool is amazing, and we loved the location. Cheri was extremely helpful and communicative, which made our trip stress-free. Book this house immediately!

The home was even better than then the description. Cherri was a great host and responded to any questions quickly Prudi the housekeeper was there to greet us when we arrived and explained everything to us so ck in was very easy. Prudi was also a big help when we were making plans for activities we were wanting to do. We rented a couple golf carts and it made it real easy to get to all the stores, restaurants and the beach. The pool was great and looked beautiful lit up at night. There were 8 adults there and everyone was very comfortable and were all discussing a return trip. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone and I’m hoping to be able to return there myself.

everything was excellent the house, the pool, how they welcomed us, the cleanliness, the comfort, everyone was very attentive, the only thing I would leave as an observation is that the house is one block away from the lagoon and the sea, although it is super well located it is not attached to the lagoon or the sea, but access is very easy and literal access is a 5-minute walk away... thank you for hosting us

Cherri’s house was a great space for us (two families with children). It is near to an incredible salt water lagoon where the snorkeling is amazing. Cherri herself was very kind in helping us through a strange technical problem related to Airbnb. Prudi, the woman who cleans and helps to manage Cherri’s home is a gem of a woman, and was very kind and helpful for both our families as well.

The house is beautiful and has everything you need for a perfect vacation in Akumal. Prudi is super sweet and did a really outstanding work. The house was always clean and maintained. The pool is very large and great for relaxing. The location is also optimal. You are a little outside of the expensive and heavily visited tourist zones such as Tulum, Cancun and Playa del Carmen. By car, you are on the highway within 10 minutes and from there you hardly need more than 20-30 minutes to all attractions. Cherri was super helpful, responded quickly and we felt in good hands at all times. Thank you for our super nice holiday :)

what a great place to Stat, especially for a big group. The public beach is only a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood is great. Everything you need is right there!

The house is just as described. Spacious, comfortable and clean. The team is welcoming, friendly and oh so helpful. Lagoon tickets are available for purchase at the house making it even more convenient for the best snorkeling around. Can't wait to come again.
