We had a wonderful stay and were very pleased with everything. The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others. We would be happy to stay here again!

Our experience at Stella Maris was excellent from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt very well received and enjoyed a quiet and pleasant stay. Everything was clean, tidy, and in excellent condition. We would especially like to thank Mr. Raymundo for his kindness, respect and willingness to assist us at all times. He was always attentive to making sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was as comfortable as possible. We thank all the staff for their dedication and good service. Stella Maris is definitely a place we recommend and hope to return to very soon.

This place is large and beautiful, but is treated more as a corporate event venue than a family retreat. Be aware of the cameras, and mosquitoes are a big problem.

It is indeed a large property where, as you will see in all the reviews, small and large families gather to celebrate life. It's inevitable that there will be mosquitoes in the gardens and outdoor areas, which are typical during these rainy months. The cameras are only in the parking lot and outdoor area (not in the bedrooms or in the dining room) for the safety of the guests, since it is a house right on the oceanfront, as stated in the description of the house in the app.

It is a great home to spend time with family and have fun. We loved it! Right in front of the beach it is a beautiful place. We will definitely consider this home again when traveling to El Salvador. Thank you for a great experience.

Overall the property is very big and beautiful and we enjoyed our stay up until the morning of check out. I was notified that an outdoor black pool-side was broken by one of my guests and the cost to replace it would have been $175 as it was a custom table, which in my opinion is very steep for a basic outdoor small table. I checked with my guests and everyone was certain that they did not break the table, plus the way that the table was broken was very odd. There was a storm the night before and the table was right under a tree with coconuts that could have caused the damage. Regardless we would be held responsible for the $175 table as you are required to provide a $300 cash deposit at check-in. I ended up explaining that my guests did not break the table and if someone did we would 100% take responsibility as we have previously done at other Airbnb’s when something was broken or missing. In the end I paid about $75 for a table that was worth maybe $30-$40 in my opinion.

Absolutely stunning property. Every detail was thoughtfully done and it was perfect for my family of 10. The host was amazing and very communicative, which made the stay even better. That said, I can’t give 5 stars due to a couple of issues. We encountered lizards in the bedrooms at night climbing the walls, which made it uncomfortable to sleep, and also saw cockroaches in the laundry sink area. I understand this can happen in tropical areas, but it still impacted our stay. Also, I strongly recommend counting all towels at check-in. I was charged for a missing custom embroidered towel, which is expensive, and I did not take it. With staff on the property 24/7 who have access, that situation was concerning. That being said, the property is truly beautiful, even better than the pictures, and I would 100% still recommend it.

We understand that, as this is a very large property (the largest oceanfront rental on the Salvadoran coast), if you leave the bedroom doors open, insects may enter. We would like to clarify that we do not have any staff at the Airbnb during guests' stays, only the security guard who is located 100 meters away at the entrance and who, in addition to being very honest, does not come to the house unless you call him. In addition, you were given the towels upon arrival and signed a receipt form. We are sorry that you had to pay $15 for a towel that one of your guests took, and we understand your annoyance.

Would love to come back, ultimate family or friend retreat, there’s so much space and you can’t beat the pool or beach, truly an amazing villa. Huge plus that all the bedrooms sit back from everything else and the eating area/open kitchen are by the pool.

My family and I enjoyed the place; it's amazing and exactly as shown in the photos. The people who helped us, Noemi and José Raymundo, were super attentive. The house is very cozy. The only things that need to be checked are the air conditioner and the kitchen pans need to be replaced; otherwise, everything is great.

This is the second time my family and I have visited Stella Maris. The house is spacious, with enough room for all of us who stayed there. In addition, this year we noticed that the house had additional bathrooms and renovations. We spent most of our time in the pool and on the terrace. It's a wonderful and peaceful place. Noemi is a sweetheart and helps us with everything we need. Mundo, the gentleman who looks after the property, is also very friendly and helpful. The owners are also very attentive to resolving any issues that may arise. We just left, and we're already planning our next stay!

Enjoyed our stay! They were flexible with our group and Mundo was attentive. The food options weren’t all too diverse but overall they had good options though that’s not really on the host. Great space with lots of beds! Truly loved it and it was one of our best beach trips yet!

had the best time at Rodrigo's villa with my group of 20 friends. It's clean, beautiful, well-decorated, and so spacious! Noémie is really nice; she cooked us delicious breakfasts and meals. I 100% recommend this place for a timeless retreat! :)

This beach house is beautiful, ideal for large families. Our family event was intimate and beautiful thanks to the help of Mercedes and her staff. We were very comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, we were delighted, and we look forward to returning.
