We stayed 2 nights with family at Mariella’s house and loved every bit of it. We had no trouble finding it. The road was in great shape and we had no trouble getting there with our van. Milena welcomed us when we got there and showed us the house. She was very helpful during our stay cleaning the floors and washing the dishes. She made a fried fish supper for us and they were the best! She also made breakfast for us one morning. The house was very clean with plenty of room for our group of 12. The pool is small but was perfect for our group of young children. They spent as much time in there as on the beach which is right in front of the house. We enjoyed spending time in the sand and in the water and watching the beautiful sunsets. The neighborhood is very quiet. The town of masachapa is a 5-10 min drive away and has the basics. We found some pulperías that had groceries and basic household items, some decent restaurants, and bought some fresh fish. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The stay was very comfortable and pleasant. The place was clean, well-organized, and had everything you needed to feel comfortable. In addition, the hosts were very friendly and always available to address any questions or needs that arose. Definitely an excellent experience.

The road is very good, it was only a very small stretch that had stones. The impeccable and comfortable facilities and the very friendly managers. The private and clean beach. It was a good experience and I would definitely come back.

Splendid hideaway beach house in Old Pochomil. Spacious and elegant house with a fantastic patio and wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean. A little hard to get to, but the effort pays off especially if you like privacy and seclusion. The majestic sunsets are worth the price of admission! Definitely recommend this property to families seeking relaxation in a beachfront setting. Oh! And big shout out to Marlon and his family for all the help and hospitality.

The place is really beautiful and offers a unique experience. However, due to the winter weather, access can be a bit tricky, so I recommend arriving in a 4x4 vehicle for added safety and comfort. Other than that, my stay was excellent, definitely a 10/10 experience

The place is remote but once you get there you have the beach for your self. A peaceful place. Be sure to plan for groceries shopping since it's some distance to the nearest supermarket. The house was very clean and the available things worked.

Mariella and her team (Kenia and Marlon) were amazing! Mariella was very accommodating with check in and check out for my multigenerational family! Kenia was very sweet and helpful. My flight was delayed but managed to cook an AMAZING pargo frito (fried red snapper). The house was very comfortable and clean. Great water flow in the showers (which can be hard to find in Nicaragua). My family and I had an amazing time and hope to stay here again!

Mariella's house is beautiful, Doña Kenya is very nice and friendly and she supported us in everything we needed. We had enough privacy, the beach facing and beautiful to see the sunset. Lots of spaces to sit and join. Small pool but more than enough to rest. Highly recommended!

Kenya and Marlon are the best. He took me out fishing, we caught some red snappers and Kenya fried them for us. I was with my wife, her mother and caregiver. We enjoyed our stay and are already planning to come back in the near future. The most important thing is that the house is spotless clean, the floor looks like the one in a clean hospital. Loved the place!! I took a trip to celebrate my birthday with my family after 10+ years ! I really loved this house, so beautiful, the sunset view is perfect! I have already other plans to return here before this year ends and the years to come. Amazing vacation home. Just what we needed. The pool is an amazing touch, after a nice day at the beach, great to chat with the family while refreshing and kid friendly as well. You have the option to rent ATVs, Horses, just beautiful over all!! Thank you for allowing us into your home !

Nice house, nice beach, all good

Very peaceful location off the beaten path for our large family. Last few kilometers are dirt road. The whole house was very clean and bedrooms tastefully decorated. The rest of the house would be very much improved with some white paint, IMO. :) Air conditioned bedrooms was definitely a plus. Kitchen was smaller than I expected, but had everything we needed and functioned well. Kids spent hours in the small pool + ocean. Lots of seating and place to relax. Housekeeper + guard were friendly and helpful but left us alone. Would definitely recommend!!

I stayed with my family for 4 nights and we did not have want to leave! The house was beautiful, well taken care and we felt right at home. The beach was nearby and being able to make fire on the beach was so peaceful! Kenia was amazing! She was super attentive and made our stay even better. Mariella was a super attentive host and she was quick to help us if we had any problems. We will definitely return! Thank you Mariella, Kenia and Marlon for an unforgettably stay!

Very clean and cozy. Quiet and comfortable and the workers were very attentive. We had a great time, a good choice for my young daughter and octogenarian mother who need extra amenities. Recommended for a quiet, family stay!!

Everything was great!

The stay in this house was amazing, it is a spacious, clean and suitable place for the number of people who allow to stay (12). Kenya (the housekeeper) is super helpful and friendly, she is there to support you in whatever you need, which I thought was a super plus. The owner is super attentive and accessible in case you have any questions. The road in summer is passable by sedan vehicles.

We loved staying at this house! The neighborhood was very private and peaceful so we were all able to relax and enjoy of the pool and beach which was right in front of us. Kenia is such a lovely and smart hard worker woman that made our stay easier by helping us keeping the house clean and the food cooked on time, wanted to bring her home with me! Haha

Photos and very accurate information, the beach in front is very steep so you have to walk to bathe in silver but in general fine.

We had a problem with our trip and ended up needing the house a few days later than originally, Mariella was understanding and nice to move our reservation a few days without aditional charges, the house was clean and spacious, we all had a great time.

This is such an excellent place for a weekend getaway to the beach! Access to the location is easy, there's lots of parking, the house is great, and it's front porch with ocean view is amazing! Service and communication from the owner and the in-house maids were superb too. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful Home on Secluded Beach! House exactly as described. Right on the beach, very nice backyard with pool steps to the sand. Very safe at night with the overnight watchman there and secure doors etc.. What made the stay extra special were the caretakers Kenia and her husband. Kenia helped us with the cooking and cleaning, made homemade tortillas, and was very helpful in getting us last-minute food items from a nearby store. I will definitely be back!

Excellent option for large groups! The house is well equipped, with a beautiful view of the beach, and always impeccable and clean. We loved Kenya's service (lady who helps with cleaning/cooking during the stay). They made us a beautiful fire pit on the beach in front of the house. Communication with the host was very smooth and I received very quick responses. Totally recommended and I'll make sure to return soon!
