Hands down, our stay at Erica’s was the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. Of course the house was as beautiful as expected, clean, and safe. The location was close to town and all the beaches, everything was less than 15 min away. We got to see some birds and monkeys from the hammocks in the beautiful outdoor terrace. However, Erica’s hospitality was what made us truly feel at home. From the beginning of our trip to the very end, Erica went above and beyond to ensure we had a great trip. Lovely house in the rainforest. We liked the Caribean style. Beautifully decorated and very spacious. Clean and properly equiped. The outside terrace is great to relax and watch surrounding nature. Friendly owner and clear communication.

Going back to Erica’s was like going home! Everything was awesome. We had a few amazing days of sunshine and beach time and then when tropical wave #17 lingered and washed away the heat (and some roads) we enjoyed the hammock and the birds. We felt safe and secure in the house!! I even got to see a group of baby chachalacas playing around on their own in the trees. Love staying there!

Everything that has been said about Erica's kind hospitality and her incredible home is more than true. Even from long distance, I felt the care and warmth from her. Her husband Jonathan was on site and available to take care of anything that I needed very quickly. Erica has great recommendations for anything you might have questions about. The home is gorgeous, spacious, clean, and tucked right into the jungle. Very traditional style Caribbean, Costa Rican Casita. I loved my time on the gorgeous deck, dreaming the day away. Awesome location, with a short walk down to the main road and anything you need a quick walk or drive. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but also so easily accessible. Pura Vida 🦋🌺🦜

Erica was an incredibly helpful and responsive host whether we needed restaurant recommendations or some flexibility with check in when our bus got in late. She truly made the experience so smooth and the house itself was beautiful and such a good vibe to hang out in.

Our stay was just wonderful! This home was in the perfect location to be out of the main towns just a little bit to experience the beauty if the rainforest but just a couple of minutes by car to restaurants and grocery stores and beaches. We are so happy we went with an open air home - it was a one of a kind experience and would highly recommend for this area. Erica is an amazing host - she was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and gave local recommendations which we appreciated. We saw sloths, monkeys, hummingbirds, a wide array of birds and insects, and an agouti all from the comfort of the patio and a well used hammock.

My friend and I really enjoyed Erica’s home and hospitality. We even had a backyard sloth! We would definitely return in the future (and probably will!). Thanks Erica!

An excellent place. The photos are just like the real thing. At night, the sounds of nature are magnificent; you can completely disconnect from everything, and Erica is super friendly and always attentive—an excellent host. I highly recommend staying here :)

Beautiful surroundings and very close to several great beaches!

I will start by saying if you are reading this and are not sure where to stay, you found it! We had the most amazing time at the house. The location is so perfect for a relaxing time in Talamanca! The house is even more beautiful in person and so spacious! The beds are really super comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied and we enjoyed cooking some meals at home to eat on the back patio listening to birds and monkeys or watching sloths or iguanas! The hummingbirds and butterflies were everywhere! Erica is the most amazing host!!! She not only made sure we had what we needed at all times but made the best recommendations! For example, we almost missed some perfect beach days because we almost left the house not wearing our bathing suits. Erica caught us and reminded us to chase the sun and we followed her advice and it was incredible! She told about a great breakfast place, massage place, and local cultural event. Stay here with Erica!! 😃

The location of the house is amazing, and the house itself is spectacular. When I come back, I will definitely rent Erica's house again. She was very attentive to everything we needed. I have good memories, and I will be back.

Exceptional place to stay. Great terrace, large, lots of space. Even beach towels available. Erica was easily accessible at all times. Happy to give tips for Playa, restaurant and activities. We felt at home. A very great place, rented by a woman with a big heart.

A huge thank you for this wonderful week in Erica's place. A true haven of peace, an immersion in the heart of nature, a stone's throw from the beaches and all the activities around Puerto Viejo. Our children were dazzled by the amount of animals visible from the beautiful terrace, toucans, hummingbirds, sloths, a couple of iguanas, frogs... The house is architecturally very beautiful and the spaces are well thought out. And finally, Erica is a caring host who generously informed us throughout the week about beaches, restaurants and various and varied tips to make this stay a real success. The accommodation is super comfortable, everything works and it has everything. The feeling is unparalleled, it is immersed in the jungle, you see many animals and above all you hear them! Listening to the rain from the terrace, having a coffee in the hammock or resting in the comfortable beds is a delight. Erika is the best host you can have. She was very attentive to us and the kids, and we really carry her in our hearts. It is a place where you feel safe and calm, and very convenient to visit all the beaches and places of interest. We will repeat!
