The Pure View villa is beautiful, comfortable, very well-equipped and perfectly designed. With seven of us, everyone had their own space, and we did not want for anything. But what makes this place exceptional is above all the nature that surrounds it. Every morning and every evening were a real feast for the eyes and ears! We saw butterflies, toucans, toucanets, macaws, amazons, aracaris, birds of prey... What a joy just to sit, watch, and listen! Ojochal is also an excellent base for exploring the region. We visited Manuel Antonio, spotted a humpback whale and its calf during a sea outing, and tried canyoning on the advice of Brendon and Rachel. A great experience! Special thanks to Moises for his kindness and availability. Thank you to Brendon and Rachel for sharing this little piece of heaven. We leave with wonderful memories. Pura Vida!

What a gem. This villa is one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. It was amazing to drive up a steep, rugged dirt road and arrive at such a pristine, modern house surrounded by rainforest. (I would recommend renting a car through the host’s contact to make sure you get the right vehicle for the terrain) The view from the pool is incredible, and it’s truly magical to wake up to singing amazons, toucans and scarlet macaws every morning. We saw a lot of other wildlife without even leaving the villa. Moises managed our stay, and he was very helpful, communicative and friendly. Luckily we didn’t need much - everything was perfectly set up. Ojochal is about 20 minutes away by car, where you can find a few good restaurants, shops, a nice gym, and an accessible waterfall for swimming. We spent 2 weeks exploring nature in the surrounding area, and couldn’t recommend it more. The local tours are all very well-organized and professional, so you can’t really go wrong, but don’t skip a night walk!

Brendon's villa was absolutely perfect for our party of 7. The house is gorgeous and well designed with an amazing view from the back patio and pool area. Everything you could want was provided and the beds were comfortable. The wildlife around the area would come into view from time to time and our kids enjoyed seeing macaws, coati, toucans and others! I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone visiting Costa Rica and we will stay again!

This home was spectacular. It’s very modern and inspiring. The pictures don’t fully convey how nice it is. Mo, the cohost was very helpful and we enjoyed meeting and talking with him. We were there during a power outage and he helped us through it. I highly recommend this listing because it has a solar system so we were able to have power during the outage by just being conscientious about it. Outages happen in Costa Rica so it was a much appreciated feature. It is a real paradise up there. This place has everything and Brendan and Mo were great to deal with. Our family wants to go back and stay there again.

10/10 house in Costa Rica that exceeds expectations. We could not have had a better time in the home and are so glad as a family we chose this home and location in Costa Rica for a family vacation. The views are stunning and we enjoyed so much time at the home watching Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, Butterflies (Mariposas) and more which was a real highlight for our toddler from the pool. House is tastefully appointed with nice furniture, appliances, beds and AC. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and through with any questions at all. We felt safe, we left relaxed and forever grateful the host shared their piece of paradise with us. We 100% will be coming back to visit and to stay again. The 5 of us had an amazing 1st experience of Costa Rica thanks to Brendon's beautiful AirB&B. The views are amazing and everyone enjoyed watching the nearby wildlife each day. We saw several types of parakeets (most abundant), a family of toucans, scarlet macaws occasionally (usually traveling through in pairs once or twice per day), and a long nosed coati (similar to a raccoon). The butterflies are huge with what looked like a +6" wingspan. Having the pool and outdoor shower was nice to have for cooling off. We highly recommend a jungle ATV tour that goes through the mountains of Uvita at Jungle ATV tours! The Ocean King Catamaran tour was amazing too out of the Quepos! We saw dolphins, various types of fish, sea urchins, star fish, etc. We had such a hard time saying goodbye to this beautiful place, but we hope to be back again soon! Thank you, Mo, for your great hospitality!

The house far exceeded our expectations from the moment we drove up to the house. The beautiful view, the privacy and listening to the birds singing everyday. Brandon was an excellent host. They sent us a PDF prior to our trip with helpful information regarding how to get around, recommendations, and things to do in the area that helped us plan and be prepared before we arrived. We were sad to leave, but looking forward to returning again!

We have just enjoyed a 2 week stay at Pure View villa. The house is absolutely beautiful, situated in a perfect position to enjoy the sights and sounds of the wildlife of Costa Rica. Our hosts were incredibly helpful, booking excursions for us and recommending restaurants nearby. Moises was very kind, meeting us at the house to show us around and also recommending places to visit and eat. We would highly recommend staying at Pure View Villa, it is a beautiful modern home and we would love to return 😃

This was our second time staying at Brendon’s place. As I wrote after our first stay, everything about the house and hosts (Brendon and Mo) is simply outstanding. It continues to be our favorite place out of all the places we’ve stayed at. We can’t recommend it more highly. It’s hard to find the words to express how much we appreciate what Brendon and Mo have provided. Truly a wonderful place. Thank you so much!

The villa is much more than the view. It’s even more about the peace and serenity you’ll feel after settling in. Both Brendon and Mo were fantastic hosts/managers!! Quit looking and book this rental !!!

“This place is majestic.” – straight from our 9-year-old, and we couldn’t agree more. We’re a family of five (17, 12, and 9), and every positive review before ours is 110% accurate. This home truly exceeded our expectations. A few extras for future guests: -We highly recommend a private tour with Edward Moya through Marina Ballena — we saw a sloth and monkeys without the heavy tourist feel (or long drive) of other parks. Incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming! -Costanera House 186 — just 5 minutes from the house — became a fav. The shrimp tacos were exquisite. -Maxi Pali (Uvita) felt like the easiest grocery option for us as first-time U.S. visitors. The home’s design is so thoughtful — I could sip coffee on the porch or sit inside and enjoy nearly the same breathtaking view. The added sunshades on the patio and living room are a great touch and help with the afternoon sun. A BIG thank you to Rachel, Brendon and Mo...an unforgettable stay for our family. We’d absolutely return!
