The place was spotless and very well equipped! Everything worked perfectly. There were even items to take to the beach. Everything was excellent! I traveled alone and Tammy was very attentive to me and made sure everything was fine.

We had an amazing stay at this condo in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. The location was ideal—about a 7-minute walk to the beach and most of the restaurants, so everything was close and convenient without being right in the middle of the noise. The gated complex made us feel very safe, and the pool area was a huge bonus—perfect for cooling off after a day in the sun or just relaxing in the evenings. The condo itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything matched the listing, and it was clear the place is well taken care of. One of the absolute highlights was seeing howler monkeys right on the grounds on most days—such a unique and unforgettable experience that really made the trip feel like Costa Rica. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Great location, great amenities, and a really cool atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tamarindo.

We loved the condo which was very spacious for two people. The private patio was awesome; the other patios faced the pool. Wannabe Surfers were the perfect hosts. Tammy responded within seconds/minutes to my multiple inquiries. Google Maps brought us to the pedestrian back gate and it took a few minutes for us to figure out how to get to the main car entrance (use EF Language School), which required going through the town center. The pedestrian back gate, which was a 5-minute walk down to the town center with the restaurants, grocery stores, ATMs and beach access, makes this condo a prime location for anyone wanting to visit Tamarindo.

We spent 9 days at the Wannabe Surfers condo #12 and were very happy with the unit and location. It really checked all the boxes for us - a smaller condo complex in a great location with a fantastic pool. The unit itself was well laid out, spacious, spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Having a full kitchen was helpful (especially for breakfast) in cutting down the cost of a somewhat pricey town. The main thing for us was the location. It was walkable to everything in Tamarindo. We were under 10 minutes to the shops, beach and restaurants and even walked to the beach at Langosta. The hosts, Tammy and Scott were very responsive and helpful. We contacted them many times before the trip and a few times during and never had to wait very long for a helpful reply to our inquiries. Almost all of the other occupants in the complex were also holiday travelers which created a fun and friendly atmosphere during our time around the pool. I would 100% recommend, 5 Stars from us!

Very nice accommodation within walking distance to go everywhere, while being just far enough away to be quieter and safer. Several useful accessories inside that can be borrowed during the stay. Very accessible and helpful hosts if needed. We loved it!

What a gem! Scott and Tammy are extremely responsive and went above and beyond to provide local information, setting us up with a transport contact and surf lessons. The location is incredibly walkable to all of downtown Tamarindo. Check in/out was smooth. My husband wants me to include that there is also plenty of ice, which he appreciated!

we loved our stay at Tammy and Scott's place. The condo was centrally located which allowed us to walk to all Tamarindo has to offer including the beach, grocery stores, surf rentals and lots of great restaurants. The unit was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the basic cookware/dishes to cook meals. The condo complex has a great pool and gorgeous surroundings. We even had howler monkeys visit one morning! the condo complex is well maintained with people onsite most days doing maintenance/ cleaning etc. beach chairs, towels and boogie boards were a great bonus. would 100% stay again. Tammy and Scott were wonderful hosts and helped us connect to a concierge company for airport transfers which was super helpful as first timers to the area

This is one of or possibly the best AirBnb experiences we have had. The host are amazing and so pro active. Provide everything needed. This place is a gem. Beautiful clean place with everything you need. Private feeling for a condo. Great pool. Kitchen has about everything one would need. Nice having beach chairs and plenty of towels. The property has two separate accesses which made it convenient as each way got us to different locations quicker. Very safe feeling.
