Jefferson’s home was one of my most favorite places to be. The flora and fauna surrounding the home was magical. The outside areas were amazing to enjoy with my family, sharing my love for birds, nature and wildlife. Everything we needed was right there. We wanted a private pool, so that was such a PLUS! My friend and her daughter came too and they stayed in the pool house, it was just perfect in every way. I hope to be back in that house again one day. Nearby restaurants were easy to walk to, local coffee shop down the street that had a neat boutique in it too. All in all- the perfect AIRBNB in Manuel Antonio/Quepos area.

This place is incredible! My wife and I usually book something beachfront, so this was a bit outside our comfort zone.....and we hit the jackpot. The house is literally in a slice of jungle. It has a security gate and alarm on the house. It has a beautiful pool with lounge chairs that allow you to find sun or shade all day long. The best part is the outdoor shower, which my wife and I fought over. The inside is pristine with excellent AC. The kitchen has all the amenities you can think of. The bed was super comfortable and a big Smart TV is available if you want stream. But let's talk about animals., nearly every day, we were visited by monkeys. We saw several birds including toucans! Iguanas and butterflies were commonly seen. It was really beautiful and, to our delight, we saw ZERO bugs during our stay. The location is fantastic, positioned between Quepos and Manuel Antonio, each of which has its own vibe. We spent an amazing two weeks here and would return in a second!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Beautiful, relaxing, and we loved having a backyard surrounded by nature. I would give this home a 4/5 because there was one thing that made me nervous and another thing that I really didn’t appreciate . Firstly, there were security cams that I hadn’t expected, which took getting used to. Secondly, the morning we were to leave, before checkout, a young man came through the property gate and left some personal belongings on the steps. It was uncomfortable to step outside the front door in the morning and see that someone had been on premises. All in all, it was great and we loved our stay. Thank you Jefferson.

Here’s a simple, excellent review you can post: We had a wonderful stay at Casa Copper in Quepos! The location was excellent—close to restaurants, shops, and just a short drive to Manuel Antonio National Park and the beautiful beaches. A special thank you to Jorge, the concierge, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He made some fantastic recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities that made our visit even more enjoyable. The property was clean, comfortable, and a perfect home base for exploring the area. We highly recommend Casa Copper and would gladly stay here again!

Our stay at Casa Copper was fantastic! This is a perfect place for a couple to relax and enjoy being surrounded by the sites and sounds of the jungle. From the morning serenade of the thrush at sunrise, to the sounds of the howler monkeys, macaws, toucans, flocks of parakeets and many other birds throughout the day, to the frogs and geckos chirping at night, it is immersion into the Costa Rican beauty. The concierge services were wonderful with helping to book our rental car, in-home massages, tours as well as our incredibly talented in-home chef, Alex. His culinary creations were a delight. 🥰 The home had everything we needed and more. Be sure to look at the binder for tons of useful info about your stay, places to eat, things to do, etc. It was great to have the privacy of the garden area and private pool. There are too many extra touches to mention. Let’s just say, you’ll love it. 🩷 It was truly a delight staying here.

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and even better than the photos. Waking up to the views every morning felt unreal, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. The host went above and beyond in every way — super responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. Every detail was taken care of, from smooth check‑in to helpful local recommendations that made our trip even better. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we felt completely comfortable and at home the entire time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. If you’re considering booking this place, do it!

I've been traveling with AirBNB for over 11 years, I have to say this may be my favorite place yet. The communication was a 6 out of 5, ready to help coordinate and manage activities, local recommendations, reservations, anything we might need. Communication throughout the week was responsive and very accommodating. The house it's self is comfortable, nestled in a jungle environment which offered most every species of wildlife imaginable, simply navigating through the yard. We enjoyed use of the bbq, outdoor meals everyday in addition to proximity to great restaurants and beaches. Our concierge truly made the trip, we will be back.

First the owner set us up with a concierge who met us at the house upon our arrival. Jorge showed us how everything worked in the home and made himself readily available for anything we needed. The house itself was perfect for us. My boyfriend and I shared the main house while my college age daughter and her friend shared the apartment. We all got to spend plenty of time together without having to stumble over each other for amenities such as bathrooms, showers, laundry and etc. The pool is perfectly placed in the courtyard. The seating on the patio and by the pool is ample. The grill is clean and works well. The entire property is surrounded by trees which creates perfect privacy. Added bonus for us is on a daily basis we were visited by monkeys gathering food in the trees above. If you want a private and beautiful property that’s just minutes away from shopping, beaches, and restaurants, this one is highly suggested!

Jefferson’s place was everything we expected from the photos and even better in person. Tucked between Quepos and Manuel Antonio, it is truly a hidden gem. The wildlife alone made the stay unforgettable. Every single day we saw red squirrel monkeys, macaws, toucans, capuchin monkeys, geckos, praying mantises, butterflies, it was endless. It felt like our own private nature show right in the backyard. Location-wise, it could not be more convenient. Within a five minute drive you can reach grocery stores and a fresh fish market in Quepos, and there are plenty of options in Manuel Antonio as well. There are also lots of restaurants nearby with amazing views and great food. It is the perfect home base if you want to do daily excursions or explore other areas beyond Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Even though we did not book any excursions through the concierge, we were welcomed right on time with care. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and we really appreciated being able to do our ow

Cooper Casa exceeded all expectations! Jefferson truly thought of everything, from the full-sized refrigerator with filtered water to phone chargers, nightlights, games, beach umbrellas, and even a washer and dryer. The home was spotless, and we felt completely safe and well taken care of. One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife sightings from the pool and driveway – we spotted sloths, macaws, capuchin monkeys, capybaras, blue butterflies, and an iguana, with the distant calls of howler monkeys adding to the magic. Can't recommend this place enough! Don't miss out on these local must-dos: pizza at La Lambretta, affordable grocery shopping at BM Supermercado and whale watching at the National Park. Thanks, Jefferson, for an unforgettable stay!

Jefferson is a great host with an amazing home. The home is so private and peaceful. We swam in the pool while watching monkeys swinging in the trees. It was the coolest experience ever. Jefferson was great and communicating and helped us with any questions we had leading up to our trip. His concierge team is also top notch. They helped us plan things to do throughout our trip, recommended some great restaurants, and communicated with us throughout the week to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb to stay at, and will definitely be returning next time we make the trip to Costa Rica!

We loved our stay at Casa Copper! We rented the main house & pool house and it was perfect for us and our teenage daughters. This home is private and has beautiful surroundings. We saw macaws, toucans, sloths & agoutis right from the patio. Kitchen is well stocked. They offered beach chairs & beach mat which we put to good use. You need a vehicle to get around Quepos but home is located within five minute drive to some of the best restaurants (recommend La Lambretta Pizza & Hola India & Aqua Azul). Quick 15 minute drive to some of the most fabulous beaches & Manuel Antonio Park.

This place is absolutely beautiful, with everything you would need for a comfortable stay - a fully equipped kitchen with all you need to make a wonderful meal or relax with a tropical drink. The private pool is a definite plus while the covered porch has plenty of space to relax while watching the wildlife just feet away. The concierge service helps arrange anything you need while here, booking tours, spa services and dining recommendations. I must mention that this space is much more compact than it appears in photos. Everything pictured is indeed in the property, but several photo techniques give the illusion of space that isn't there. I mention this because as a photographer, I know it's not accidental. The total house space is about equal to a hotel room or small suite. Happily our invited friends couldn't join, or it would have been much too close for comfort. This would be a great space for a honeymoon couple or small family, but too close for comfort for adult couple friends.
Host Response
I am glad that you enjoyed Casa Copper! I was a bit surprised by the comments on the size of the space. While the bedroom itself is about the size of a hotel room, Casa Copper also offers a kitchen, indoor living area, and a spacious outdoor porch that more than doubles the living area - most guests spend their time on the porch. For the price of an average hotel room in Manuel Antonio, our home also offers a private pool and patio, free laundry facilities, outdoor enclosed shower and second bathroom. Perhaps you did not realize that, if a second couple is joining you in renting the house, they have a totally separate, spacious bedroom with desk and chair, bar fridge and private balcony with hammock and bistro table and chairs in the pool house. We have often hosted a second couple in our home, and nobody has ever said they felt the space was too small for us to enjoy our time together. I’m sad that you would suggest we have deliberately photographed the home to make it seem larger than it is - anyone who reads our reviews will find many who note that the photographs do not do it justice. Casa Copper was professionally photographed and although I cannot speak to the techniques used, I can assure you we never requested to make it look like anything other than what it is.

The amazing villa is beautiful as pictured. Isolated-- in a good way, nestled in quiet, jungle-like surroundings, yet only ~200 meter walk to the bus stop (<$0.75) which runs every 20 min during the day, providing easy access to MA Park, beaches and good restaurants. Beautifully appointed. The patio and pool are great for chilling. Jorge, the concierge, was available as needed.

First of all, the concierge service that comes with the house is EXCELLENT and it makes staying at the house very worth it! Hazel reached out to me the day after booking the location and offered her services including excursions to do, spa services, chef services and she booked everything for us. She will also tell you about the transfer services from the airport which she will book also. All the questions I had the 7 months leading up to our trip she responded quickly to. Once getting to the location, we had Jorge who was also very responsive. He not only recommended restaurants, grocery stores, souvenir shops he also sent the link to directions and webpage. Jorge confirmed all of our excursions, made reservations for us at the restaurants he recommended and checked in with us regularly. The house and its views are stunning however it was a bit smaller than the pictures suggested. You will not hear much from the host but the concierge service makes this place worth booking!

Paradise for nature lovers. We saw many animals from the comfort of the porch and swimming pool (agoutis, sloths, macaos, many toucans, monkeys, and plenty of other birds). Place is very close to San Antonio National Park with lots to do. Great restaurants in downtown Quepos (less than 5 min drive). Looking forward to go back

This place is beautiful. The wildlife was amazing. We were visited by Monkeys almost daily. A sloth “Sid” stopped by to hang out for our last two days. Macaws and a toucan made an appearance. The house is well kept and in a peaceful location. This was a great place to relax and just enjoy. It was also centrally located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Either direction was a $8 Uber ride. We would stay again for sure.

Casa Copper is amazing. It was a perfect 2 week getaway for our family. The house had all the amenities you would need on vacation: a well equipped kitchen, smart TV, AC in the bedrooms and lots of fans to keep us cool. Our concierge, Jorge, was super attentive and helpful in organizing tours for us, as well as taxis, food pickup, and even recommended a phone repair place when my iphone died. So many animals and birds visited us in the beautiful garden backyard: capuchin monkeys, tucans, lizards, hummingbirds, butterflies and moths. The house is up on a little hill, so for people with mobility issues, walking to and from the house may be an issue. I wish the house was closer to town (Manuel Antonio), but if you rent a car or have transport, it's not an issue. It's actually nice to be right in between Manuel Antonio and Quepos, and it is more quiet and private. We loved our stay and would do it again.

My daughter and I had a lovely time at this beautiful house surrounded by the lovely rainforest. The house was comfortable, and the setting was spectacular. We loved eating breakfast and drinking coffee while viewing the various wildlife in the surrounding jungle. The gorgeous birds, butterflies, monkeys, etc. were such a delight to see and observe. A wonderful bonus was the exceptional concierge service provided to guests of Casa Cooper. The concierge service did an exceptional job making fabulous recommendations for restaurants and excursions. The concierge service would also call and arrange transportation for us at any time and that was also so helpful. Casa Cooper is amazing and we would love to return one day.

Although it has gotten quite pricey over the years, and the noises from construction and neighbors has gone up, we still love Casa Copper. You're immersed in the jungle where we have seen some wildlife, (i.e. white faced capuchin and squirrel monkeys, iguanas, and an occasional macaw flying by). The thunder and lightning shows during the rainy season are some of the most spectacular that we've ever been part of!!! There is a beautiful pool to swim in or lounge by when it's not raining. There is a bathroom and outdoor shower conveniently located by the pool so that you don't have to make the floors slippery between the pool and the house. When it is raining, there is plenty of covered outdoor entertaining space. I love that Jefferson's place has a fully-equipped kitchen and BBQ so that I can prepare meals and drinks for my wife and I. It's the perfect size for 2 people; the reservable upstairs converted garage would probably make this place great for a party of 4.

Great airbnb in a beautiful setting with everything you need to have an amazing vacation in Costa Rica. The house is in a rainforest and we had daily visits from various animals including monkeys and toucans. Truly a paradise. So fun! This house is adorable, very comfortable, and well positioned between Quepos and Manuel in Antonio. The concierge service that comes with the home is invaluable. From general information to booking reservations, it made cutting through the red tape of being in a new country so easy. Everyone involved with this home (as well as Costa Rica in general) was amazingly friendly. We loved it and will return. Let it be known that if you sleep in the upstairs master, it is comfortable and gorgeous, although… The bathroom/toilet is outside and down some stairs. Beware if you have trouble with that otherwise, this place gets an A+ in our book.

My expectations were exceeded! What a fantastic and beautiful home Jefferson has made, and so close to everything that Manuel Antonio and Quepos has to offer. The concierge services provided by the staff were superb—anything needed or wanted is yours for the asking, making this private oasis rival the services of any hotel. The surroundings are indescribably beautiful—with monkeys greeting you daily at dusk and dawn, swinging from tree to tree—and the pool was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Truly, we spent more time at the villa than exploring because we never wanted to leave. If you are looking for a private, luxe oasis, close to everything—I highly recommend Casa Copper. I stayed there with a friend, but for a couple looking for a romantic getaway, the score for this property is off the charts.

Jefferson and his team provided a top rate experience! Our trip to Costa Rica was enhanced due to their care. They assisted with our car rental, gave local restaurant recommendations, and fun activities to participate in. The home and pool house are small but we were rarely inside and enjoyed the amenities of the beautiful outside tremendously. Lounging by the pool and watching the wildlife became favorite pastimes during our down periods.

This place was so cute and relaxing! The full kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at the house. It was close to grocery store, amenities, beach, and Manuel Antonio national Park, but set back from the main road enough that we didn't have any traffic noise. The pool was awesome! We really appreciated having access to the laundry room as well. It was like a little home away from home. The concierge service helped us book everything we wanted to do on our trip and made things really easy. Great stay, would definitely stay again.

First, this home is on a gorgeous nature reserve, you see lots of wild creatures all around you. To me, this is one of the best parts of staying here. The kitchen is stocked with all the equipment you could possibly need. As someone who prepares all my own food, it was a true gift. The water pressure is great and the shower is wonderful. Jefferson and the concierge they use is outstanding, always responsive and never intrusive. The set up everything I asked for and left me alone otherwise. The neighborhood is safe and peaceful, however, if you like to go for walks or runs, the lack of sidewalks is a bit intimidating, stay to the side of the road with the most shoulder space. I definitely recommend this home.

We just got home yesterday & are already planning our return.

We saw monkeys, toucans, macaws, black squirrels and agouti right from the porch all day long. Very quiet and peaceful location. The house was spotless on check-in and was maintained by pool cleaners and gardeners throughout our stay. Kitchen was well equipped and Wi-Fi was high speed. The on-site concierge Jorge was excellent with helping arranging taxis and delivery and Hazel helped arrange all of our excursions as well as answer logistical questions we had about traveling with a baby. The team can help with just about anything you may need. Highly recommend booking an at-home spa service! The home itself is a great halfway point between Quepos and Manuel Antonio with many activity and dining options within a 5-15 minute distance. I would consider renting a car or budgeting for many taxi rides as most places in the area are not walkable (very steep hills/no sidewalks/unpaved roads).

Jorge and Hazel was very responsive and catered to us in every way. They made planning excursions very easy and effortless. We felt like we were in paradise! Our honeymoon to Quepos was unforgettable thanks to Jefferson and his concierge, Jorge. The view from the patio was magnificent, the pool was so relaxing, and the interior of the house was clean and peaceful. Jorge set up an appointment for a couples massage for us, and it was amazing! He sent us restaurant, grocery store, and beach recommendations the night we arrived, so we didn't have to worry about researching these locations. We saw toucans and other various birds in the backyard daily, and we also saw a capybara! We could not recommend Casa Copper more!

We had a wonderful time at Jefferson’s house. It was comfortable, clean, and has lots of amenities. After we booked his house, his concierge Hazel reached out with wonderful suggestions and booked many activities for us including an awesome private tour in Manuel Antonio park with a fabulous naturalist Henry from HP Tours. After our arrival Jorge confirmed all our arrangements and booked taxi cabs for us when we needed them. The house was close to the bus line so we also went to Quepos and the beach area of Manuel Antonio on our own. I highly recommend Jefferson’s house. Amazing! The best Airbnb experience. Not only is this home in the beautiful jungle, but it’s private and still close to the beach/restaurants (10 minute drive). Monkeys spotted almost daily. The pool and home very clean. The second bedroom was very spacious and a beautiful outdoor patio. We had a great time at Casa Copper! It's perfect for a group of two, but has enough space to entertain more people during the day. The kitchen had everything we needed, the outdoor porch/living room has a view of the jungle bowl, and because it's near the top of the bowl you're looking right into the canopy. We saw monkeys and all sorts of birds from right outside the door. The location in the Quepos area is convenient, it's a bit closer to Quepos than it is to Manuel Antonio, but the bus stop is a two minute walk away, and we took advantage of the excellent concierge offered. Highly recommended if you want a private, luxurious jungle setting.

30th Anniversary in Paradise My wife and I honeymooned in Costa Rica 30 years ago, and returned 30 years later to celebrate our anniversary. Our stay at Casa Copper was amazing. The Manual Antonio area has changed greatly since our last visit, but it is still a beautiful place to visit, albeit much more crowded. And that is what sets Casa Copper apart. The casa is a peaceful sanctuary after a fun day of exploring all the area has to offer. The interior of the main house is small but very efficient with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large veranda is were you really spend your time. With four lovely teak rocking chairs and a nice dinning table, it overlooks a beautiful rain forest and there’s lots of wildlife to watch while sipping a cold beverage. The pool area is nice and private, with an amazing outdoor shower. The property is very secure. Since it was just the two of us, we did not have use of the second bedroom apartment, which overlooks the pool and is not separately rented to ensure your privacy. I only give 5 star reviews if the property truly deserves it, and Casa Copper definitely does. I highly recommend this airbnb. My review would not be complete without acknowledging the tremendous staff that makes your stay ever so special. The owner, Jefferson, stays in touch with you, Hazel handles your pre-arrival planning and arranges activities. We had a couples massage on the veranda during a rain, which was wonderful. Then a chef arrived to prepare a good dinner for our anniversary. Hazel also arranged a horseback ride in the mountains. Jorge checked us in upon arrival, and is there for anything you need during your stay. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful stay in Paradise. Saludo Pura Vida! P.S. If you rent a car, drive VERY defensively. We had no issues, but the Costa Rican drivers and motorcyclists are crazy and do stupid things. Get full insurance coverage on the rental. That said, we enjoyed exploring the beaches and waterfalls further south. Also be mindful to protect your valuables when at any beach. Enjoy.

This is my wife and I's 2nd time staying at Casa Copper. We love it as it is tranquil, immersed in the jungle where you can see monkeys in the trees and Macaws flying by, luxurious for 2 or 4 (if you rent the upper converted garage unit) with plenty of room for lounging, dining or hanging out at the pool. I love to cook on my vacations to try new foods and to save money and their kitchen is well-equipped, including a BBQ outside. The living room has a small couch with cushions that are not too comfortable; I was able to get a good night's sleep on the king bed mattress though it was a little bit hard and I recommend that an improved mattress be invested in for the property's future visitors. The custom teak wood throughout the interior and exterior of the home is beautiful; please follow Jefferson's rules of keeping it dry for all of us to enjoy for years to come! Also the bathroom next to the pool, outdoor shower, and laundry room were nice features. Highly-recommended for 2 people.
Host Response
Hey Shawn, Thanks so much for returning to Casa Copper. We appreciate your feedback about the mattress. We’ve actually invested in a top of the line mattress that has a firm pillow top on one side and a soft cushiony memory foam on the other side. When you check in if you prefer one to the other please let the team know and they will flip the mattress for you. The cushions on the sofa are just for decoration. Please feel free to remove them if you find them in the way or uncomfortable. We are committed to our guests absolute comfort and appreciate your feedback as it assists our efforts. We look forward to hosting you again at Casa Copper.

Perfect place for 2! Private, beautiful outdoor space. Impressive kitchen equipment.. they have everything! And the staff was the most helpful with scheduling Covid tests and booking excursions! It’s smaller than expected, but still good for 2 people. The bed was a tad uncomfortable for us but that was our only inconvenience.
Host Response
We agree Casa Copper is ideal for a couple as it offers secluded outdoor spaces and private pool. We have hosted groups of four on many occasions and they, like all guests, have indicated in their reviews that Casa Copper exceeded their expectations. We are happy that you found our Concierge team to be helpful before and during your stay. We wish you had let them know that you were not entirely pleased with the comfort of the bed after your first night. As guests have varying preferences, we invested in a top of the line mattress that offers a firm pillow top on one side and a soft memory foam on the other. Guests are encouraged to immediately bring any concerns during their stay to the attention of staff, who are dedicated to finding solutions.

This is an amazing place to stay in beautiful Costa Rica! We had so much fun and everything is as the pictures portray but better. The villa literally has every single thing you can possibly need. We used the beach chairs in the laundry room everyday at the beach, kitchen utensils, and just the ambiance itself was so serene. It’s located in such an amazing spot that I’d say if you’re staying local in Quepos and Manuel Antonio you really don’t need a car at all! It was easy to set up a taxi when we needed with concierge too! 10/10 would recommend staying here. So safe and secluded. Thank you!

My husband and I came to celebrate our 20th anniversary and were absolutely spoiled by having selected Jefferson’s beautiful home. We don’t have enough words to tell you about how much we enjoyed our time here!! The pool, outdoor shower, patio and jungle view were each over the top. We saw hummingbirds, monkeys and even a toucan in a farther off tree, all from the spectacularly lush and private yard. Incredible beaches, restaurants, treks to waterfalls and through Manuel Antonio National Park, along with visits to neighbouring cities and towns, left no shortage of options, no matter the weather. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our stay at Casa Copper undoubtedly made our anniversary one that we will never forget. We hope to return again here one day, but until we do, I’ll be jealous of each one of you who get to stay here in the meantime. 😜

Having just spent the past 10 days at Casa Copper, I can reiterate everything that has previously been written in other reviews. The Casita itself is so comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen appliances to beach apparel (cooler, etc). The gigantic bed (must be a California king) was very comfortable and we’ve never experienced such soft sheets before! The fact that we had two showers came in handy, as well as two toilets! Having our own pool for 10 days was a real luxury and we took advantage of it after a long hot day of excursions! Hazel (our online concierge) was amazing at putting together our itinerary, allowing us enough breathing room between excursions. She also answered our questions very promptly and gave great advice! Jorge, our “in person” concierge was easy to talk to and greeted us right away (with an umbrella) to make us feel very much at home. Any time we needed to change an excursion, he handled everything with ease. His English was excellent, no problems with language misunderstandings! When Jorge left for his well deserved vacation, Mariana took over his duty and was a joy to work with. Having a wash machine and dryer is a real plus, as the humidity makes one want to change clothes more than once a day. We were informed we hit the beginning of the rainy season, but enjoyed the outdoor living area, where we could sit (without getting wet) and watch the rain and the monkeys in the trees. We also took advantage of Jorge’s suggestion of ordering groceries and having them delivered. What a beautiful perk, as trying to carry bottled water and groceries up the steep hill became a real challenge! As one person we met at the beach told us, one needs to contend with either a lot of steps or being on a hill in Quepos. We appreciated not having a lot of steps, as we are not used to them anymore living in a 55+ community in Florida! We had wonderful excursions….. Henry took us through Manuel Antonio National Park and then also took us on a Night Tour to see the night life of the Rain Forest. Roldolfo was our guide through a family Spice Farm and Chef Alejandro prepared an outstanding meal for us…. All of these excursions set up by Hazel at 2CostaRica. We wish we could have stayed indefinitely, but all good things must come to an end. We HIGHLY recommend a stay at Casa Copper for a wonderful vacation. We hope to be back soon!

Casa Copper is absolutely amazing! Even better then the photos if you can believe that. It is extremely clean and they have thought of everything you could possibly need. The location is great and so close to lots of nice restaurants, shopping and attractions. The yard is stunning! We even had the pleasure of seeing a bunch of White Faced Monkeys playing in the trees right in the back yard. What an awesome experience!!! Jefferson the owner was very easy to deal with as was Hazel prior to our arrival. Jorge our concierge was extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed while we were there. We would definitely recommend Casa Copper for your stay in Costa Rica!

We were so happy we chose this listing for our stay in Manuel Antonio. It was the perfect place for the two of us (we didn’t rent the additional bedroom). The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We saw monkeys and toucans right by the pool everyday! Jorge, the concierge, was incredibly helpful as well. He answered our texts right away, had groceries delivered and had cabs pick us up anywhere we went. Thanks for making our trip a great one!

This was the best air bnb experience we have ever had! The location can’t be beat, at the end of the driveway it’s as simple as turning right for downtown Quepos or left to Manuel Antonio and the beaches. From day one our hosts and concierge made our travel stress free and offered recourses like airport shuttles, grocery deliveries, taxi rides, lists of places to eat or listen to live music, scheduling tours, and setting up at home Covid tests for our journey back home. Jorge even went the extra mile and picked out a birthday cake himself for my partner’s special day. The house has pretty much every dish and appliance you would have in your own kitchen. The bathroom has a wonderful shower and the tile throughout the house brings so much charm and is nice and cool on a hot day. The pool was the perfect size to hangout and swim around on our free days between activities. There were a few days that we had a little basilisk friend hanging around eating the gnats and flowers near the pool. The pictures don’t do the house or the nature justice. The air is always alive with the sounds of cicadas and birds and monkeys. We saw macaws, turkey vultures, toucans, bats, hummingbirds, 2 different types of monkeys, and a couple neighborhood cats. There is a restaurant and a corner store on the same road as the house that’s easy to walk to for a meal or some drinks. The house is very private and feels like a tropical paradise getaway and when I say it was hard to leave I mean it was devastating. It’s not the biggest space but it was perfect for the 2 of us and could easily accommodate 4 if you rent out the room above the “pool house” as well. If you are thinking about renting this air bnb and you are looking for something gorgeous and intimate this is the place for you! Jorge is indispensable and has great communication. He alone is a reason to stay here because you will never need for anything. We rate this place 100/10 and if we are blessed enough to have the opportunity to come back to Costa Rica next year this is the place we want to stay! Thank you so much for hosting us and giving us the best trip we could ask for.

Hands down our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. EXACTLY like the pictures. So private, clean, and perfectly appointed. It’s a slice of paradise. Monkeys, toucans, macaws, hummingbirds, jesus lizard, and the most beautiful foliage surround you. Nature puts on the most amazing show! Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! Jefferson, Hazel, Jorge & Margarita are an amazing team. Jorge took suchu great care of us, helping us book everything right down to our return flight COVID tests. He has fantastic connections and recommendations.

This home is in an excellent location and is everything the pictures show and more. It was extremely comfortable, clean, and bright. We made use of the pool almost every day and saw squirrel monkeys, white face monkeys, a toucan, and had a daily visit from a common basilisk. Quepos and Manuel Antonio have much to offer in the way of activities. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

I cannot help but gush about how absolutely astounding this place is. Prepare to be impressed, not only by the atmosphere, function, and decor of the villa, but by the options and features on-site as well. We enjoyed grilling feasts on a wide propane bbq, listening to the sounds of animals and rain at night through the screen doors, having multiple television options to watch after winding down from a long day, brewing fresh costa rican coffee on the patio while the sun rose through the rainforest, and had sunset and night swims in the illuminated pool while listening to nature. The location being nestled in the perfect spot between Quepos and Manuel Antonio made all of our experiences in the region within a short distance. Honestly, the place is so comforting and lavish that you will *make* it part of your itinerary just to be in and relax. The concrete and stonework all over is gorgeous. In case the pictures on the listing aren't already alluring, the bathroom looks straight out of a magazine when in person. The kitchen is a joy to be in, and the half-vaulted ceilings were a huge plus for us, as we are both 6' 3" tall. There is a lot of well-thought out design in the making of this place that will give you some of the best privacy from the street and from neighbors, so you can truly unwind and relax. There were ceiling fans not only inside, but outside on the patio. And along with the lights, they were on dimmer switches to set things just how we desired. There was a washer and dryer on-site and an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand from the beaches, which made cleaning up after our adventures a lot less worrisome. Plus a heightened sense of security with a guard down the street that watched the block at night. And the hospitality. Oh my goodness the hospitality. Hazel made our adventures so much smoother, and Jorge's warm welcome made our arrival feel inviting. They arranged events and the transportation to our events that came right up to the entrance to pick us up, and the concierge was always a phone call away if we needed anything at all. We saw some adorable geckos on the stair steps and some vultures through the trees. We heard wonderful animal sounds all week through the surrounding rainforest. Any animals you may see will be entirely random of course, (animals like to do their own thing, you know?). All-in-all, there was nothing that detracted from our love of this place. While we enjoyed our expeditions and tours and the local towns of Quepos and Manuel Antonio, we will remember this place forever as the true highlight of our stay in Costa Rica.

Our stay at Casa Copper was so much better than we could have expected! Huge shout out to Jorge for making our check in incredibly easy. He also took care of arranging our excursions and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is beautiful and we loved watching all the animals visit in the backyard. We would totally recommend Casa Copper to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

This is a great home tucked away right off of the main road to the beach in Manuel Antonio. We had a great time just relaxing by the pool and it was great to be able to have a washer/dryer available too! Definitely book this house for your trip to Quepos. You won’t be disappointed when you have sloths, monkeys and toucans up in the trees right above the pool!

Casa Copper is, hands down, the finest Airbnb that we've had the pleasure of staying in. During our two-week stay, we felt like we had our own mini private villa in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Between the main house, the outdoor patio, and the pool area, the grounds of this property are absolutely stunning. We loved having our morning coffee and fruit on the patio overlooking our own little slice of rainforest. Remarkably, despite the central location, the house is sublimely isolated and the surrounding environment has plenty of animal activity. From the backyard, we saw iguanas, hummingbirds, macaws, and even a toucan. While there is loads to do in Manuel Antonio, one of our favorite activities was to sit by the pool and watch for wildlife with the conveniently-provided binoculars. In addition to the beautiful scenery, the many modern amenities included with this Airbnb were a significant value add. We appreciated the brand new washer and dryer, which were convenient for washing towels and swimsuits during our extended stay. The included Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie board made it easy to go to Playa Espadilla and Dominical. We also took advantage of the fully-equipped kitchen to prepare many of our dinners, which helped us to cut down on restaurant costs. I especially enjoyed grilling burgers, chicken, corn, and veggies on the modern Brinkmann grill. (Pro tip: if cooking in Manuel Antonio, the Ferias del Agricultor in Quepos, which takes place on Friday afternoons, offers excellent produce. Otherwise, La Cosecha and the carniceria, located side-by-side in Quepos, have good produce and meat, respectively. Avoid buying produce at the supermarkets as it is generally low quality.) The only thing the kitchen lacks is an oven, though there is an included air-fryer device that we didn't try out. With the pandemic, there wasn't much nightlife in this area beyond the restaurants. For this reason, we enjoyed the Smart TV with Netflix / Amazon Prime / Apple TV for evening entertainment, since the sun does go down pretty early in Costa Rica (around 6pm). Beyond the physical amenities, this rental comes with a complete staff for concierge and cleaning services. While it's listed on Airbnb, the house is primarily managed by a vacation rental and real estate company called 2 Costa Rica. We enjoyed interacting with Hazel, who is available to book tours and logistics prior to the stay; as well as Jorge, who handles concierge services on the ground. Jorge was extremely responsive via WhatsApp and went above and beyond to make our stay frictionless. For instance, when the grill wasn't working, Jorge sent a technician over to replace the regulator and propane tank. Jorge also came up to the house at 5:30am to collect our keys and see us out on our last day. The house and pool cleaning staff also came by multiple times and left the premises spotless. Beyond washing a few dishes, we had minimal housework to worry about. This is a rental that truly lives up to the "luxury" title. The negatives of our experience were very few and very mild. The house does have a parking space that was able to fit our rental SUV; however, because Jefferson is in the process of converting the garage into a second bedroom, the parking space is outdoors and can be a bit tight to get into. The house itself is up a short but steep dirt road and exiting the property involves a sharp, blind turn onto the busy main road. While the property is very private in terms of visibility, there are other homes and a hotel in close proximity. There was one night where the renters next door brought in a literal live DJ who blasted club music from a PA system. It wasn't a huge deal for us, but we met another neighbor who was understandably agitated. There was also one morning where the cleaning staff showed up unannounced at 8AM while we were asleep. Nevertheless, we were in such a state of bliss for our whole stay that these small blips barely registered for us. Overall, we found Casa Copper to be the perfect home base for exploring Manuel Antonio and its beautiful surroundings. The house and its many amenities provide a complete experience with exceptional value. We owe Jefferson and the 2CR staff a big thanks for having us and hope to return on our next visit to Manuel Antonio. Pura vida!

One of the best Air Bnb experiences I’ve had, and I’ve been to 32 countries. Their staff was great! The pool and home was amazing. We loved swimming during the day, and watching the rain at night. We saw Monkeys, Toucans, and Mccaws from the pool. We hired private chefs for our dinners and Desiree was the best of the best chef in Quepos! Seriously, we used 3 different chefs and I’m a food critic in United States, and she exceeded expectations. We loved our stay, felt very welcoming and comfortable. Their staff was always on duty, ready to help out!

This was the most amazing stay! My boyfriend and I discussed several times during the vacation that it just woulding have been as top notch if we had stayed somewhere else. Before booking our trip we didn't know much about Costa Rica or where to stay but we did know we didn't want a hotel or condo/shared space feel. I wasn't even sure of a "location" to stay. I found this house and that decided the rest for us. It felt like home while we were there and we ended up spending so much time enjoying it. Since we went during the "green" season, it rained pretty much every day at some point. Had we been in a hotel this might have been a drawback. Instead, our days consisted of getting up with the sun (around 5am) sitting on our porch listening to the sounds of nature while we sipped our coffee and enjoyed breakfast. We would do a tour or head out to explore everyday around 8 but would end up back at the house by early afternoon to swim in the pool or just enjoy the space while it rained. It would have been so different sitting inside a hotel room waiting out a thunderstorm. We had a chef cook dinner one night and massages another night on the patio (bonus: during a thunderstorm). The house itself, was beautiful, had everything we could possibly want or need. The bedroom was comfortable. If I could give this experience 6 stars I would! Hazel, the concierge who assisted us prior to the trip was so helpful and responsive. Set up tours and answered my million random questions! Once we arrived, we were met at the house by Jorge, and he was so great while we were there. He set up our COVID tests for our return and always answered quickly when we texted. Again, this house and everything it had to offer made our dream vacation a reality. Thank you.

Stop your search now & book Casa Copper! This was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The main highlight was the patio area with an AMAZING jungle view! We watched white faces monkeys eating in the canopies every evening we were there. We also saw macaws flying around and perched high up in nearby trees several times. There was the same basilisk lizard by the pool area every day too. The inside was immaculate! We stayed plenty cool with the overhead fans and short bursts of A/C in the bedroom. They also provided all the kitchen supplies (including a grill outside) and pool/beach towels you could need. If you’re renting a car like we did, note that the road to get to the Airbnb is narrow & steep (thankfully paved), and you’ll need to parallel park in front of the garage. Finally, the communication with Hazel pre-arrival and Jorge during the trip were top-notch. They were both eager to help and answered any questions we had very quickly. Their services are definitely an added bonus to staying here! Book now!

Amazing place to stay while visiting the Manuel Antionio area. The location was great- just a short walk down the hill to the bus stop. Bus was an affordable and fun way to get around the area. The house was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed to relax, cook and adventure. Would highly recommend this place to stay!

Jefferson's home is tranquil and has everything you would need to relax whether going in/out on adventures around Quepos or staying put: a fantastic patio with enough space to have friends over for dinner, a refreshing pool, a balcony with hammock that doubled as a yoga spot for us, a comfortable bed, indoor and outdoor showers to stay cool and a well-stocked kitchen. However, one of the most magical things about the place is having your own slice of the jungle 5 feet in front of you. Each morning we drank our coffee and watched two different species of monkey swing around the trees, each afternoon a cacophony of birds accompanied our dips in the pool. Since this part of Quepos isn't really pedestrian-friendly, I'd suggest renting a car or being prepared to take taxis to the Manuel Antonio NP, the beaches and restaurants. Everything is within a 10-minute drive, including markets for groceries so you can take advantage of the kitchen and dining space and enjoy the peace of this perfect little villa.

I did not know what I signed up for when I booked Casa Copper. I thought the home was beautiful, but I didn’t realize the immaculate service I would receive. Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Upon booking, we were assigned with Hazel. She helped coordinate our stay by providing great recommendations for travel, tours, restaurants and much more. She created a detailed itinerary of our trip which helped cut my time down for researching on what to do. She booked everything and coordinated activities for us remotely. She was quick, responsive and organized. Once we got to Casa Cooper we were assigned to our concierge, Jorge. Jorge was friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, flexible, and experienced. He had a solution to every problem we faced and was readily available. He coordinated with our tours and taxis. He helped us make some modifications throughout our stay. He made the process easy and seamless. He was an exceptional concierge and host. The home itself was nestled in the middle of every where we wanted to go. It was always about a 5-10 minute drive to Quepos or Manuel Antonio. The location felt perfect and safe. The home was very clean and absolutely beautiful. We saw many wild animals in the comfort of the rainforest backyard view. Monkeys visited often. We saw parrots, toucans, hummingbirds, and much more. It was serene and peaceful. We felt catered to and even though the home was a stand alone, we felt as though we were at a resort with the level of service we received. Not to mention, a cleaning lady came in the middle of the week to freshen up the place. The pool man came a couple of times as well. Overall, we had such an amazing experience at Casa Copper. It was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something intimate with beautiful scenery and great service!

This place has everything you need and more! The location in the jungle but just close enough to the beach and local bars and restaurants is perfect. Amazing space to truly relax and immerse your self in nature. It’s a very private property but you still feel like part of a community on the “street”. Wildlife is plentiful and the concierge service was immaculate with everything we needed.. even organising a celery juicer and 10kg of celery!!! Enjoy

My wife and I stayed for 3 weeks at Casa Copper and really enjoyed the property. We were remote working and the large outdoor patio + fast wifi made for an amazing work experience. The house was perfect and equipped with many amenities to make us feel at home. Jefferson and his team were very communicative and welcoming. Hazel and Jorge, the house manager, went out of their way to make us feel at home and Marguertia, the housekeeper, came weekly to clean the house. We highly recommend Casa Copper and would return.

Where to begin? We have so much to write about our first visit to Costa Rica, but so little to improve on the great reviews of Casa Copper.... It was the ideal casita for our 10 days near Quepos and Manuel Antonio, and is perfectly situated between the two towns with a bus stop 50m down the hill. If you didn’t rent a car like us - you’ll count on those buses or the many taxis that pass frequently. On our first day we met a guy from Australia who convinced us we’d have transportation figured out quickly. He was right. The bus was consistently 340 colones for any stops between Manuel Antonio Park and Central Quepos - taxis between 800 and 3000 depending on where. We are glad we didn’t have a car - it would have felt wasteful. The place is very well appointed. We cooked and made drinks frequently; we weren’t left needing anything, even for storing leftovers in the huge fridge. The grill is also impressive. Water is filtered throughout, so we just kept refilling bottles for our outings. Umbrellas, binoculars, games, beach towels, Bluetooth speaker, WiFi, Apple TV, more .. all tucked away so the place feels classy but has whatever you need - all indexed in the rental manual. Pool, outdoor shower, 2nd bathroom, and patio all made for easy living outside. The mini-jungle off the patio was our TV. We watched monkeys parade through, macaws fly over regularly, and a toucan come eat from a palm tree right by the pool. It was the rainy season, so also enjoyed strong thunderstorms - a rarity where we’re from. We didn’t take advantage of the path into the forest as it was often rainy when were were home. The air conditioning is nice; we used the many feeling fans and screen doors and windows to keep the temperature down. Again, the pool and outdoor shower were something to look forward to after a day out with activities. Finally - it was so nice having such privacy and safety. Many rentals and hotels tout a view of the ocean. We enjoyed feeling tucked into the forest, knowing views were a walk or bus ride away, and that we had this mini jungle all to ourselves. Up the hill you’ll find some small hotels and B&Bs, down the hill is a convenient market. Lara acted as our concierge during our stay. She was instrumental to our perfect vacation - arranging all our transportation, answering so many questions, arranging tours and some discounts. She was there to greet us and see us off, and we’re so thankful for her kind energy and quick help. Now to our recommendations ... I wrote a review for every stop on our trip, find them on TripAdvisor and search for user TopherMueller. Here are some add’l tips: We used Pacifico Travel for all our longer distances (airport to Arenal Observatory Lodge to Belmar in Monteverde to Quepos and back to airport). They were terrific and offered insight and some tips that added even more value. Use Super Joseph’s delivery service to stock up on groceries. Biesanz blows away any other beaches. Take a taxi and flip flops, wear walking shoes for the short trail. Get cash and go early to reserve your chairs & umbrella. We saw plenty of monkeys and sloths there. Paradise. The service tax is confusing. We understand 10% is always taken at restaurants and is split between all staff. We don’t believe this is true and simply tipped extra in cash if we got good or better service. We could tell the cash tip was very appreciated, and we we always remembered well when we returned. Share the love - this is their livelihoods. I had trouble getting USD out of Quepos ATMs, but the one across from Cafe Milagros in MA was always working great. Go to the market on Friday or Saturday in Quepos. Good weather? Walk down the hill and cross the street, and continue on the same road all the way to Quepos (with a nice view of the Marina). Like malls and AC? Or fishing? Go to the marina. We went once and decided it wasn’t for us. Quepos does have carnecerias and more importantly - fish markets. I’d be curious if Lara has a connection to fresh fish off a boat from the marina. There's so much more to say. Jefferson, Lara, thank you for your hospitality and helping make this the best vacation we've had so far.

Saying this place is awesome is an understatement! The home is beautiful, the wildlife in the backyard rivaled the national parks and the thoughtfulness towards the needs of their guests was above and beyond! We saw groups of 20 squirrel monkeys (endangered) playing in the trees right next to the pool pretty much daily. We saw pairs of toucans in the evenings and even saw a 2 toed sloth. This was much more wildlife activity than what we saw at the Manuel Antonio park and all while poolside! The hosts also stocked their AirB&B with literally everything you could possibly need - so often you go to homes that have used the scraps from their original home but not here. There were pans that were not scratched and even things like carrot peelers! Everytime I thought of something I needed it was there - bandaid, towels, pen and paper, binoculars, species identification charts, you name it!

Wow! Casa Copper is absolutely breathtaking! We loved the jungle views, morning coffee on the porch with the birds and monkeys, and Krissia our concierge was wonderful! She welcomed us with local fruits, guided us through local spots to check out, and booked us some truly great trips. She even met us at the farmers market and showed us all Costa Rica’s wonderful fruit and pipa fria :) The couples massage we had on the patio during the rain with the jungle soundtrack was surreal! It was our first time in Costa Rica and it was perfect. Thank you again Krissia for taking such great care of us! She helped take our trip to the next level. See you next time! Megan & Dan

Husband's Review: Upon your arrival, you are greeted by Krissia, a local concierge with exceptional knowledge of the area. The house was a luxurious romantic getaway for 2. The jungle makes for private seclusion with visits from the local wildlife such as macaws and monkeys. We felt at home for our week here and were well-protected from the rain on those rainy rainforest days, and the thunder and lightening was spectacular. We also felt secure with the locked gates, fences, night guard that walks the area, and bars on the windows. All of the amenities necessary for home cooking and BBQ were provided, even an extra propane tank when the 1st one ran out of gas. The only thing that I would ask for as that the blender be replaced as I could not get it to make pina coladas and that a cheese grater be added so that I could make 7-layer dip and quesadillas. Otherwise, I believe that you are in for a surprise with this property! As a kind consideration to the owners, please keep the beautiful woodwork dry so that it will last many years to come. Wife's Review: We’ve traveled to Costa Rica 3 times now, and each time the property we stayed at has been better than the one before. I thought last year we had found the place we’d stay for all future travels to Costa Rica, but then I stayed at Casa Copper, and I truly believe I have NOW found the place I would like to stay whenever Costa Rica calls. Casa Copper is a 2-3 hour drive from the San Jose airport, but don’t let that dissuade you from choosing this property. The drive is worth it as you begin in the city, spend most of the journey driving through lush green wilderness, experience a few local communities here and there, and then arrive in Quepos. The property won’t look like much when you get there, because all you see is the garage, but once you walk down the stairs you will understand why I have no desire to seek out a future alternative for a place to stay in Costa Rica. When you walk down the stairs the first thing that will catch your eye is the pool, which is very clean, inviting, and lovely. It’s practically an infinity pool as one edge drops off into the jungle below. In this area you will also find a gas grill, a laundry room, a shower, and a separate bathroom. You’ll then notice that the pool and the house are literally IN THE JUNGLE and it’s thrilling to imagine all the wildlife you might be able to encounter when you’re hanging around outside. Connected to the house is an impressive outdoor veranda, with many areas to sit and read, take in the sights and sounds of the jungle, enjoy your morning cup of coffee, or entertain friends. The house is technically suitable for about 4 people (there’s a futon/sofa bed in...
Host Response
We are so happy to hear that you loved the house and enjoyed your time there. For making pina coladas we recommend using the nutrí-bullet provided as it does a much better job at crushing ice than the blender does. There is a cheese grater at the house. It’s one from Ikea and Krissia just confirmed for me that it is in the kitchen. Sorry you didn’t find it. We are super happy to know you would like to return to the house and we welcome the opportunity to host you again. Definitely in future if there is anything you can’t find or feel that is missing please reach out to our Concierge Krissia as she would’ve been able to suggest use of the nutrí-bullet for your mixed drinks and shown you where the cheese grater is kept in the kitchen. Take care and we wish you all the best always!

Casa Copper is everything you see in the photos and more! The location is amazing and so close to so many attractions and great local dining. In addition to the amazing amenities within the home the owner connects you with a personal concierge to help you with booking local events and day trips. There are regularly scheduled cleanings of the grounds every week which includes someone who clears the pool of debris. My husband and I loved this listing and would highly recommend you choose to stay here as well.
