The house was very nice, clean, comfortable, and the sorroundings were beautiful. It's a very private location, but you have easy access to the Arenal Lake, which is a nice area full of nature, restaurants and amenities. We had very memorable times doing kayaking, a night walk, and we also went horseback riding. It was tons of fun for our extended family.

We loved our stay at, what our kids affectionally referred to it as, "the jungle house". It was perfect for our large group of 16 people. The kids could run around safely outside and we had plenty of open space to enjoy the kitchen and living area inside. The bedrooms were clean and spacious. Mahar answered all of our many questions and was quick to reply. Downtown La Fortuna is a bit further than we thought, about 1hr 20 minutes. The drive up to the house is very bumpy and curvy for about 20 minutes. Definitely worth it for the incredible view and location! Our family made lifelong memories at the jungle house and we are so grateful!

We stayed for a family trip, the common spaces are super comfy, it has board games if yo prefer to stay in, the rooms are very comfortable and private,there is no AC but the temperature is nice and has fans in all the rooms in case needed. The kitchen is very well equipped. It’s perfect for a big family trip. The club is not a the property but it’s close by, is very private and has a nice pool. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful hill, very far from city noises which makes it perfect for resting. Host is very responsible, friendly and friendly and helpful. Very recommended for a quiet vacation.

We had a fantastic stay and would definitely book this Airbnb again! It was perfect for our group of 16. We loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom, and having a downstairs bedroom was great for anyone who preferred to avoid stairs. The views were incredible, the large dining table fit our whole group comfortably, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals together. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus, especially with our baby. We also really appreciated that they provided a high chair and playpen, which made traveling so much easier. We had one minor issue with a toilet, and Wilbur came over right away to fix it. He and the team were incredibly kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting La Fortuna!

Our stay was excellent. The property has spectacular views and a very tranquil atmosphere, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. Everything was clean, well cared for and as shown in the photos. Communication with the hosts was outstanding: they always responded very quickly and, when a problem arose, they resolved it immediately without making us wait. In addition, they were very flexible with check-in, giving us the option to use their second property while the first one was being prepared, which was a great touch. When we saw their second property, we thought it was very nice, clean, and cozy. It has excellent views of Lake Arenal, is surrounded by nature, and has a selection of very interesting books that give the place a special touch. I would definitely recommend staying here. We will probably come back on a future visit to La Fortuna.

Beautiful, super comfortable house with a spectacular view! Ideal for large families or groups of friends who want to share. The rooms are super comfortable, each with its own bathroom, which provides a lot of comfort when several families travel together. The hosts are super attentive, always helpful, and go the extra mile. Fully recommended.

Words cannot really describe how beautiful this location is. The house feels like it was dropped into the location - kind of remote but all the amenities you’d need, and the room set up is phenomenal. Great for a bigger family event. The views are incredible! Clean and the welcome basket of fresh fruits was an amazing touch!

Beautiful private location and lodge. Highly recommend. Perfect for our group of 11 to stay. Each family group had their own room and bathroom. Loved being able to do laundry on site and to cook family meals in the kitchen and on the grill. Didn’t realize they would have a large bowl of fruit so that was a great surprise. We did enjoy the papaya, pineapple, bananas, and apples. Description did say place would have oil and salt and pepper so we didn’t buy any before we arrived but we took advantage of the private transportation so our driver was able to run us to a close store to get some. I can’t say enough good things about using the transport option. Our driver was Pablo. He was fabulous. He helped translate and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. He felt like a member of our family by the end of our stay. We also did the chef prepared meal option one night and the meal and service were fabulous. We also enjoyed the hike on the property.

Was very happy with this property and communication with the hosts. The only downside (but nothing to do with the property) is the road - full size suv 4WD is the must and no shortcuts should be taken Definitely recommend if you are looking for a ZEN stay!

HRC Lodge was an absolutely amazing experience for our family! We were a large group and the lodge was perfect—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with every room having its own private bathroom. The property itself is stunning: peaceful, lush, and surrounded by nature, making it the ideal place to relax and disconnect. Mahar was fantastic—always quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and made the entire stay effortless. The wellness center was a huge highlight for us, especially the beautiful pool and warm water, and the lake being just a short drive away made it even better. We truly loved every moment of our stay and are already looking forward to coming back! 🌿✨
