Always a pleasant stay...

Max made it very easy to work with great with the locations how to plan our week stay. Great locations to eat a list of things to do while we stay.

Max’s home was absolutely gorgeous—so spacious, spotless, and with incredible views. We especially loved relaxing in the pool each afternoon after long beach days. The entire stay was comfortable, peaceful, and truly enjoyable. We will definitely be returning the next time we’re in Playa Hermosa. Highly recommend! Thank you, Max, for such a wonderful stay in your beautiful home.

This was our third year staying here and it continues to be one of our favorite places. The home is in a quiet, peaceful community and is perfectly located. A beautiful beach is just a short walk away, and there’s a grocery store, great places to eat, and everything you need nearby. Café Bohio is always a gem and offers amazing coffee and food. It’s also conveniently close to Jaco and Herradura if you want to head into town or book a fishing excursion. Overall, it’s a great place to relax while still being close to everything. We look forward to coming back again.

My first visit to CR. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the local, security, neighborhood. Very peaceful private gated community with a 24/7 security guard. A walk to the beach with great local restaurants, mini-mart, coffee shop and pharmacy. Max had everything in working order and explained everything so well, I only texted him once which he quickly responded. Thank you for a memorial vacation.

I went on an impromptu trip and booked Max’s place. All I can say is beautiful place located 5 minutes from town!!!! I felt right at home and safe due to being a gated house - rooms were amazing, the view was calm and pristine and overall interactions with max were easy. Def would book again if I end up back there

Nice place! Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Convient and very close to Jaco and a not too far from Manuel Antonio. House located right off the main road, pro and con to this though because there are times when traffic can be loud as other reviews mentioned, but most of the time it was fine and didn't bother us. House was clean overall, and the host was responsive and even recommended a good private chef. Only con during our stay was gecko got into the house because the window in the master bathroom could did not close due to a broken handle, we were able to get the gecko out and notified host, so hopefully that issue is resolved now. Would rent this location again. Overall great experience!

Great location with a beautiful view, safe and clean. Friendly and responsive host. As others have stated the trucks can be loud in the early morning so beware if you’re a light sleeper but nothing some ear plugs couldn’t fix

Would happily stay here again. House is beautiful and spacious and all as described. Very comfortable and we made good use of small plunge pool. 24 hour guard on duty at gated community made us feel even more secure about leaving possessions at the house while we were out and about. We had four surfers stay here with each having en-suite bedrooms. We mainly surfed Jaco beach which is only 10 minute drive. Surfing at Hermosa beach is right across the street, about 5 minute walk to beach. A few great restaurants within walking distance.

My group and I enjoyed Max’s place and our stay. Great location with options in walking distance of restaurants and markets. About 10 mins from variety of options in Jaco beach. House was very spacious, Max provided great communication and local recommendations for tours. Would definitely book again.

Max is an amazing host! Always responded to messages throughout our trip! His home is super spacious and a quick walk to the beach. The location isn’t far from Jaco’s downtown area either! There was plenty of space for everyone and I took four teenage boys on this trip! He has everything you need there except like boogie boards and such if you want to do an activity like that! We enjoyed our stay at his place so much! Gated community with super nice and accommodating gate guards!

My second time staying at this beautiful home. Not far from town and has an amazing little Cafe across the street with great food and coffee
