We had a wonderful time staying here. The pool is really big and being right in the beach is amazing. It was very clean and well taken care of and we loved the layout of the house. Definitely recommend it.

Let me start by saying this was absolutely a 5 star stay. We were a little nervous driving through the neighborhood to get to the house, but once we found it and got inside, the house was great. It is two separate buildings. One has the living space and kitchen. The other has the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The pool was great. The house is right on the beach. We walked to the main part of the beach/town from the house multiple times during our stay (about 10 minutes). The pool was nice to cool off in after our days out scuba diving and the outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off after the pool or ocean. Xinia (the caretaker) was great! As far as the town and neighborhood, we are from California, so I would say it gives off a Venice Beach vibe. It looks a little rough when you roll into town, but the people and activity of the place are quick to fall in love with.

Casa Alborada is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation in Playas del Coco. The house is located directly across from the beach and offers all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with Gloriana was excellent from start to finish. She was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had about the property. Xinia, the host, was also wonderful. She gave us a thorough tour upon arrival and was always available to assist with any needs or questions during our stay. I highly recommend Casa Alborada to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-maintained place to stay in Playas del Coco. We had a fantastic experience and would gladly return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place to stay. Beach out the back gate, and the host was fantastic.

The onsite host Xinia was impeccable. Really helped throughout the stay and kept the pool area clean. She was out there every morning picking up the fallen apples and even helped us place an order

This place was perfect for our group. The main living area had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect and walkwable to anything we needed. You can hear the waves crash in at night while you settle in to bed with your personal AC unit! Which can be much needed after a long day in the sun. I would reccomend this to any family looking to travel. Hats off to the host and property management team as well.

Amazing location!!!!!! Beautiful pool area!!! The place is a little more run down than expected and the squeaking kitchen doors are a bit annoying but other than that we loved the place! Would come back.

We had such an amazing time here! The place felt super homey and you really get to live the full experience of Guanacaste here. Just steps away from the ocean, and was amazing to be able to walk along the beach to get to downtown Coco. We loved all of the house animals and the sounds of the birds in the morning. The pool was refreshing after a long day and the outside common area. Xinia, the groundskeeper and her son were so accommodating during our stay. Everything was wonderful, would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms just as they were in pictures. The proximity to the ocean is fantastic.

The property is so comfortable you almost won’t want to leave. And with the beach right out front there’s very little reason to. Kitchen is extremely well equipped, with multiple options of where to eat on the property. Independent A/C in each room, delicious pool…would definitely come back or recommend it.

The place is in an excellent location, a short walk from the ocean. At night you can hear the waves in the background, perfect for sitting and listening to them and having a drink. The spaces are perfect for resting, everything is very well cared for and in order. The pool was what we enjoyed the most, the area around it is great for relaxing throughout the day thanks to the shade provided by the trees. We really enjoyed the place, it has everything you need and the instructions they provided us are among the best we have received in stays, quite clear.

Great few days stay! Felt like we’d rented a kids camp! Numbers on doors, lots of wood paneling, older, cozy furniture and beautiful gardens. Fabulous location, lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by although very hilly to walk at times.

My weekend at Alborada's house was simply great, the property is much more than what is reflected in the photos, the garden with the pool is spectacular and the fact that the house has access to the beach makes it unique. I would definitely stay here again!!!!
