We had a great stay at this solid jungle property. The location is absolutely fantastic, surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna, and being so close to the waterfalls was a huge highlight that completely made up for any minor quirks. A couple of things to note for future guests: there is a lack of comfortable gathering space for a family of five to sit down and eat together. Additionally, the street noise can be a little loud in the main bedroom, and the house does hold some moisture, especially inside the single bedroom. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot if you want to be close to nature and the falls!

We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. The house is beautifully designed with luxurious furnishings and is located in a very safe and peaceful neighborhood. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and had virtually every utensil and appliance you could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home. While it is a bit outside the main tourist areas, everything is easily accessible by car. A SUV is not necessary, but we found it to be a convenient option. During our stay, there were a few power outages caused by severe thunderstorms, which are common during this time of year. Throughout it all, the host was extremely communicative, providing regular updates and doing everything possible to make the situation as comfortable as possible for guests. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we would happily stay here again!

Casa Cora in Ojochal was a wonderful stay. The home felt like a peaceful jungle sanctuary, surrounded by wildlife like monkeys and birds and wonderful amenities. The pool was refreshing, the kitchen made cooking easy and the shared spaces were perfect for relaxing as a group while the bedrooms offered nice privacy. It was also really great to have a/c in the bedrooms! The home was close to restaurants, stores, hikes and the ocean. It is in somewhat of a neighborhood, so expect a little road traffic noise. Nothing obnoxious, just the occasional car or side by side going by. The hosts were very responsive and great to communicate with. Any issues or concerns, they immediately got back to us and made sure everything was satisfactory. Would stay here again!

We liked the house very much, it is clean, modern, elegant style, and very comfortable. We liked the most the group of monkeys in the back yard, facing the jungle, they have a lovely and active presence. We loved very much the little waterfall, accessible with a short but a bit slippery downhill hike. The water is refreshing , fantastic, and has little pools to sit in , under the waterfall. The only downside is the occasional noise from the street, sometimes already early morning, trucks, motorcycles rumbling by. Some days are better then others. The funny thing is that the monkeys are roaring back at them every time. Otherwise the rhythmic music of the frogs, and crickets are penetrating the air.

What a wonderfully secluded home in the vibrant town of Ojochal. Close to amenities, this property provided several big surprises we didn't expect, from howler monkeys quietly sunbathing in the late morning next to our deck, to the beauty of a private waterfall trail (note: it can be tricky in spots). The bedrooms are spacious; ideal for a family and the pool was a daily retreat. We loved the boogie boards and beach chairs available to take out for the day! The kitchen made home cooked meals a breeze, great layout for cooking and visiting. Appliances were all in good working condition. The real test came when things didn't go as planned... we had trouble getting hot water the first day. We texted our hosts, it was literally a minute to reply AND they offered to send someone over to fix it immediately. Our hosts were fantastic about answering questions and always seemed to be available for us. Even allowing a slightly early check-in. Amazing experience overall.

Very nice house, excellent location, surrounded by lots of nature. A very nice room with very nice details. Unfortunately, we have some problems: - Single beds with a musty smell. - Strong smell of gas in the laundry room (they changed the cylinder because it seemed to be finished but the smell continued, we had to manually close the gas key because it did not seem dangerous). - Electric gate with operating problems. (They offered us the repair but when we were walking on the beach they called us that they needed the keys, so we had to return, in this case, you should have spare keys, because we lost almost two hours of our walk). - The grill ran out of gas in the middle of a barbecue. (This is difficult to control, but it was another point that affected us). - We reported the bad blender and they offered to change it for the next day but they didn't. Details that make a difference.
